🌱 Animal Mints — Week 6 From Seed (≈ Week 2 Flower / Pre-Flower Phase) Quick Recap for New Readers This run includes multiple Animal Mints plants, all treated similarly, but we’re mainly cataloging two reference plants to clearly show how timing affects structure and development: • Plant A → 12/12 from seed • Plant B → ~15 days under 16/8 veg, then flipped to flower Same genetics, same room, same feeding — different timelines. That’s the whole experiment. ⸻ Plant A vs Plant B — Why Two Plants? • Plant A (12/12 from seed) • More compact • Slower early structure • Responds very well to gentle leaf bending and light training • Still stretching and stacking nicely • Plant B (short veg period) • Bigger frame • More developed branching • Further along in flower at the same “seed age” • Took light cleanup / lollipopping better This small veg window made a huge difference in structure and flower progression, and that’s exactly why we’re documenting both. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work (No Heavy Defoliation) This week we did selective leaf removal, not a true defoliation: • Opened airflow and light paths • Removed shaded or blocking leaves • Light lollipopping on Plant B only • Plant A kept mostly intact, just leaf bending and spacing Goal wasn’t stress — it was space, airflow, and efficiency. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day Temp: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on height & position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm (now stabilizing around 909 ppm) As outside temps stayed cooler, the room naturally became its own heat source: • Increased plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added No forced heaters. No extremes. Just letting the system balance itself. 🌬️ Airflow • Vortex extraction • Multiple cross-flow fans • Constant gentle movement No leaf chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear transition phase. • EC: ~2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning down — all feeds now 6.0+) Why Higher pH Right Now? As plants move into flower, nutrient demand shifts: • Better Ca / Mg uptake • Stronger phosphorus & potassium availability • Root activity increases Slightly higher pH at this stage supports structural growth and flower formation, especially under higher light and CO₂. Esta semana ya realice la poda. Se encuentra en estos momentos en etapa de secado dentro de una caja especial para secados de flores que uso siempre y nunca me falla. En humedo hay 195g y utilice una lampara led de 150w en todas sus etapas. Próximamente estaré publicando cuando este en curado.

The auto rotation is picking up ! Less then half are small . 8 out of ten fem. Glad I feminized all my seeds.

Holy stretch Batman! DD#1 put on almost two feet and while I’m not super stoked about the node spacing right now I’m also not stressing about it. Like quite a few autos one stops short and creeps ahead in the bloom. That’s what #2 did. But she’s the Christmas tree type and the first that I’ve never left alone. I also know why I top them early usually or at least do some LST. These were behind their room mates and unreachable after week 3. I never expected them to be this tall so my expectations are met and exceeded thus far.

Hi guys lost track of where i am now lol so we will run until there done lol I got a seprate dry tent now so makes my life easier. 1 purple startdawg lst 1 green startsawg lst 1 cheese lst 1 cheese oh natraul grown with polyploid 2 x pot noodle blueberry 1 x blueberry lst 3 x baby photo period big budha cheese. This week started out well. After topping both sides started growing pretty quickly. Later on in the week I decided to see how flexible the new branches were, they seemed pretty flexible so I wanted to start fixing them down, but not too low. Sadly one of the branches snapped off. I quickly tried to reattach it, but it got loose and died off. New plan, I left the second node intact to fill up some possibly empty spaces, but now they will have to serve as the right side of the manifold. Part of the timelapse is a bit weird as the camera kept sliding out of position because of the wire pulling it down, but that should be fixed now.

Finishing up this week. Started flush and will be chopping at 8.5 weeks. Had to tie up all the mains to keep from flopping over. Smells amazing.

Overall this grow went very smooth and the purple punch bud is top 3 of the best home grown indoor I have ever smoked very impressed with the insane terps and heavy effects she brings to my table ,I am 100% going to be growing much more purple punch autos in the future

End of week two notes : Created a gilly web to get everything nicely pulled in a way that is barely stressing the plants . Because all of thebsteings have specail knots as they grow in certain places , it will take stress off other parts of the plant in the webbing . Also increased out solution temperature From 21.6 to 23.8 also we were adding 150 mills of budjuice once a week and then the CO2 to breathe bag would be why we are increasing the temperature in order to get that CO2 to fully Digest it as much as possible without causing any burn or over temperature stress to the plants. They are on the floor , and it being -40C and colder I think that is to contribute to the plants not drinking as much . As you can see there is no sign of nutrient burn or really and disfunction I can see ? Let me know because as always I am always looking to bounce ideas !!

Buds glories buds still bringing them in at night

Buenas a todo compañer@s,otra semana más de cultivo. Amnesia haze Hoy día 3 Finalizamos la semana 5 de floración. Cambiamos a la semana 6 Aumento de la EC hasta los máximos valores que acepte la variedad,proabado este fenotipo de amnesia haze en varios cultivos con una EC2600 en sustratos. Una semana bastante jodida de agua,muchas lluvias,con lo que conlleva alta humedad en el exterior y con ello más alta en el cultivo. Pero seguimos luchando! Vídeo subido en la madrugada . Dia 5 Todo bien ,exceptuando una de las niñas que parece tener alguna deficiencia,magnesio pensé en primera estancia,pero otros compañeros me dijeron que podría ser que el magnesio bloqueó el potasio en unos riegos atrás. Le reduciré el magnesio,y le seguiré dando la misma dosis de potasio que le doy a todas las demás.. El riego es por goteo y no queda otra, a esa pequeña le añado lo que pida de más con una pequeña pistola de agua por debajo. Va afinando el cultivo con respecto a los olores. Día 6 Al fin,puedo volver a decir ,tengo todo bajo control!! Al menos por ahora.. Correji,el problema de potasio de la planta con la deoficiencia que no sé cómo llegó a ese punto,tan pronunciado.. hoy quedó la cama regada con una buena cantidad de abono EC2200 En una cantidad de tanque de agua de 44 litros Un ph6,2 controlado como en todo el ciclo de floración. Dia 7 Hoy abrí el armario,30segundos en la tarde mientras estaba la noche dentro con las niñas, 12grados era la temperatura dentro de el. Hoy realmente fue una tarde fría ,aquí.mañana vuelve a ser un día normal ,así que volveremos a tener los 16/17 que tenemos por lo normal. Buen pronóstico,e podido ver en los noticiarios,hahahah dejando temperaturas aparte. Regamos ayer, con una buena cantidad de azucares aminoácidos y enzimas,además de su riego base y calmag boost. Realmente hoy me quedan 10 días,en los que tengo que terminar de potenciar la planta con los abonos. Ya que en aproximadamente 20 días se finalizará este cultivo. No busco una cantidad oxidada de tricomas ,busco una buena patada de estimulación activa. En unas semanas abriré un nuevo pequeño espacio de cultivo con una cama de cultivo de suelo vivo. En un interior. Por lo demás,pediréis ver alguna deficiencia en una planta,y algo de estrés en otras más debido a El salto de temperatura de hoy. Decir que algunas sufrieron un poco de sobrefertilizacion. -ESO QUE PARECE UN🛰️, es la sonda de temperatura y humedad! Y ya de paso. aprovechamos la 💡 que pueda rebotar. Día 8 Parece que ahora piden mucha agua,van a sufrir un poco de estrés con respecto a eso. Mañana le meteré otro riego con un buen EC y la próxima semana acabaremos con los abonos. Están engordando muy bien,un olor a amnesia increíble con el toque lima y fresco de las haze. En este fenotipo la dominancia es más de la amnesia. El olor ,me está indicando que voy a tener un producto de gran calidad. Muy muy dulce,limón,madera cortada y toques a pimienta. Seguira definiendo más aún en la maduración y el desarrollo de resina empieza a manchar bien la hojas. Grandes extracciones de jardala nos esperan! Día 10 En el día de hoy todo va bien con respecto a todo lo general del cultivo en cuanto a alimentación. Ya hoy el último riego de la semana ,penúltimo del cultivo. IMPORTANTE. ⚠️ Tuve dos plantas afectadas en las hojas por exceso de iluminación llegando esta a quemarse en las hojas,la flor no se afectó,prácticamente nada . Subí la lámpara unos 12 cm Estaba demasiado baja ya que no tuve en cuenta el pequeño estirón de esta semana atrás.

Start of week 3 flower (Day 15) and things seem to be going OK. Slight calcium deficiency, I think I may have overshot the bloom too soon and it's locking out the calcium, I'll cut back slightly and see how she goes. I'm excited to see how this turns out. Hopefully just keep things running smoothly for the next 6 weeks. Ill try and update as much as possible. ✌️
