4/8/2023 Week 8- Day 1 of Veg (Day 66 overall) I still have 1, 1/2" of clearance to the net. The Competition will hit the half way point on Wed, that leaves exactly 10 weeks left from Wed. So I decided to go ahead and top off the water by adding 10 gallons to the system today. I added the appropriate Nutes. I am considering 2 plans now that I have decided that I am going to flip to flower on Saturday no matter what. Plan 1, I can evaluate throughout this week and flip earlier than Saturday if needed which would mean draining my system on that day adding week 1 Flower Nutes to the tank and start Week 1 of flower that day. I decided to go before before Saturday I will go ahead and change the water to week 1 flower, the same day I change the lights to 12/12. Then I will wait until the second Saturday so say 10 days if change my lights on Wed and then run Week 2 water/Nutes into Week4 and starting Week 5 change every week for rest of Grow. If I make it until Saturday will keep Week 1 Nutes until Week 3 and then starting Week 4 change every week until done. Additionally, the Orange Sherbet has responded well to the back yeast-buttermilk-molasses experiment, resulting in a significant CO2 increase of up to 1500 ppm. 💨 I'm excited to see how she adapts to her new environment. Meanwhile, the Frozen Black Cherries are absolutely thriving in hydro! 🌱 Their growth has been phenomenal, and I couldn't be more impressed with their progress. Hello everyone. We are in the 7th week of flowering and this is my first session with cuttings. I had a lot of trouble managing the humidity in the growth room this winter but I managed to see 20 cuttings in root with perseverance. I made a selection at the start and kept 16 cuttings. Alright folks! We are running on aprox Day30 into the grow! The tallest plant almost stands up 18+ inches! Shes growing good, I do have one plant that is being all funny and its showing me excessive signs of nutes. Added Calmag feeding @ 3mL/Gal and watered each plant about 2L each. Pots were dryish, been 8 days since the last watering. (i think its a bit too long for airpots, but plants seem to be ok) This week just adjusted some of the LST ties so the plant can stretch a bit. Also did a very light defoliation (removing dead leaves) and allot of tucking. I replaced the Vivosun Osc Fan due to a reddit post i saw of one being burnt to a crisp, replaced them with the HoneyWell turbo force fans. So far so good. Also moved one of the main fans to the side of the tent trying to setup a cross draft air circ. I have also noticed that the plant is now in pre-flowering and some very nice aromas coming from the plant. (green/Citrus/Sweet) notes. It quite pleasant to be in the tent! :)

She is the baby of all my plants. When she’s hungry she will out of nowhere have her leaves look down. As soon as she’s fed, in 10 minutes she’s back to normal. Great smell. Good tops, great bud production at the bottom. Bottom wants to follower purple so badly but plant doesn’t want to yet

So this was one of the runts. Smells great, decent quality, but super low yield. The nose is great! Has a wonderful bubble gum aroma!

Autos are just starting to flower the photos are dying for some bigger pots. I've been trying to bring up the overall plant health in general since moving everything to a basement the temps are a little lower than ideal. I had a space heater delivered today and monitored the temps but they only went up to around 78°f I want it to be atleast 82°f ideally 85. The heater uses 1500 watt and only increased it about 2 or 3°. I dont think it's worth the extra cost for such little boost. I'm thinking about returning the heater and throwing a 1000w hps in one of the other tents and see if that will raise it anymore. Especially with LED and co2 higher temps would be very beneficial in veg and early flower but the room is so big its gunna be tough to pull off without killing me on electric costs. Any suggestions are welcome. I know this room does decent in flower but I havnt done much veg work down here and I'll have some autos growing this round so it's important I get it up.
