💜 8×8 Adventure – Week 13 Purple Haze by Zamnesia – Pheno A The Big Mama Has Officially Left The Golf Ball Era Behind 😂💜🏀⚾🏉🔥 Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of the 8×8 Adventure! 🌱💚 And... YES. She's still fucking enormous. 😂💜🔥 Our Purple Haze Pheno A continues to make her presence known from her corner of the 8×8 jungle. You don't need to look for her. You don't need to ask: "Where's Purple Haze A?" She's basically standing there saying: "HELLO! I'M RIGHT HERE!" 😂 She's big. She's beautiful. She's substantial. She's developing those absolutely ridiculous flowers. And honestly... the more I look at her, the more I love this girl. The orange tones developing through those pistils are becoming one of my favourite things about her. That contrast between the green foliage, the developing flowers and those increasingly orange hairs... Beautiful. 💜🌿🧡🌸 And the funniest part? I'm still doing basically nothing to her. She's doing the work. I'm just watching. 😂 She has her space. She has her photons. She has her environment. She has her irrigation and nutrition. And apparently... that's enough for her to say: "Don't touch me. I've got this." 😂💜👑 So let's give this Big Mama the spotlight she deserves. ──────────────────────── 🔥 WEEK 13 – THE BIG MAMA IS STILL HERE Purple Haze Pheno A continues to be one of the most noticeable plants in this entire room. And that's saying something. There are twelve plants in here. Twelve different personalities. Twelve different structures. Twelve different expressions. But this girl? She doesn't exactly blend into the background. 😂💜 She's big. She's present. She's filling her corner. She's carrying some seriously impressive flowering structures. And she's doing it beautifully. Looking at her this week, I keep coming back to one thought: "How are these flowers still getting bigger?" 😂 Because honestly... they are. The plant continues to look substantial. The flowers continue to develop. The structure continues to become more impressive. And the overall appearance is becoming increasingly mature. But we're still watching the process. We're not calling her finished. We're not trying to predict exactly where she's going. We're simply documenting what she's showing us. And right now? She's showing us some seriously ginormous flowers. 💜🌸🔥 ──────────────────────── 🏀⚾🏉 THESE ARE NOT GOLF BALLS Let's get something straight. 😂 These are not little golf-ball-style flowers. Not even close. We're way past that conversation. We're somewhere around: 🏀 Basketball? No. ⚾ Baseball? Getting closer. 🏉 Rugby ball? Now we're talking. 😂💜🔥 And some of these flowers are starting to look like they're on their way toward the American-football conversation. I'm obviously exaggerating for fun... but only because the point is: THEY ARE NOT SMALL. 😂😂😂 This girl is not producing tiny little flower clusters and hoping nobody notices. She's producing substantial, heavily developed structures that immediately catch your eye. You look at her... and you know. This is Purple Haze Pheno A. The Big Mama. 👑💜🌸 ──────────────────────── 👑 SHE OWNS HER CORNER There are some plants that occupy space. And then there are plants that own space. Purple Haze Pheno A? She owns her corner. 😂👑💜 You can see her presence immediately. She's got the height. She's got the structure. She's got the flower mass. She's got that beautiful overall shape. And when you walk into the room, your eyes naturally find her. That's one of the things I love about following her individually. Her personality has become very clear. She's not trying to be the biggest plant in the room. She's simply being herself. And somehow... herself is fucking big. 😂🔥💜 ──────────────────────── 🧡 THE ORANGE PISTILS ARE STEALING MY ATTENTION One of my favourite things about this week's photographs is the colour developing in those pistils. The orange tones are becoming increasingly visible. And I absolutely love the contrast. That deep green foliage. The developing flowers. The increasingly frosty surfaces. And those beautiful orange hairs running through the floral structures. 🧡🌸💜 It gives the flowers a completely different character compared with the earlier weeks. Earlier on, everything was much fresher. Much brighter. Much whiter. Now we're seeing more variation. More colour. More maturity. More personality. And that's exactly what I want to document. Not just: "Here's a beautiful flower." But: "Here's how that flower changed." Week by week. Photograph by photograph. And Purple Haze Pheno A is giving us a beautiful progression to follow. ──────────────────────── 💎 THE FLOWERS ARE DOING THE TALKING At this point, I really don't need to say much. The flowers are doing most of the talking. 😂🌸 They're substantial. They're developing beautifully. They're becoming increasingly defined. They're carrying more visual weight. And when you get closer with the camera... you can see just how much detail is packed into them. This is one of those plants where the full-plant photograph tells one story... and the close-up tells another. From a distance: "That's a big plant." Closer: "That's a big flower." Even closer: "Jesus Christ, look at that." 😂💎📸 And that's the beauty of documenting the same plant every week. You get to watch the entire transformation. ──────────────────────── 💜 SHE'S STILL DOING HER THING And here's something I really want to emphasize. I'm not doing anything special to her this week. No dramatic intervention. No unnecessary manipulation. No trying to force her into a particular shape. Nothing. I'm letting her do whatever she has to do. And she's showing me what she has to show me. Healthy. Beautiful. Big. Frosty. Developing. And absolutely unmistakable. 😂💜🌿 Sometimes the best thing a grower can do is simply stop trying to improve something that's already working. She's doing her job. So I'm doing mine. I'm watching. I'm documenting. I'm checking the environment. I'm paying attention. And I'm letting her write the next chapter. ──────────────────────── 🌿 OBSERVATION OVER INTERVENTION This is becoming a recurring theme throughout the 8×8 Adventure. Earlier in the grow, there was plenty to do. Structure. Positioning. Training. Canopy management. Adjustments. Now? We're entering a very different part of the journey. The plants have established themselves. The structures are there. The flowers are there. And the best thing we can often do is observe. Look. Compare. Photograph. Learn. And only intervene when something actually requires it. Purple Haze Pheno A doesn't seem interested in asking for anything right now. She's too busy becoming enormous. 😂💜 So I'll let her. ──────────────────────── 📸 THE CAMERA IS LOVING HER And honestly... how could it not? 😂📸💜 She's one of those plants that gives you something different every time you point the camera at her. Full plant. Main flowers. Side flowers. Close-ups. Different angles. Different lighting. And suddenly you realize: "Wait... THAT flower is huge too?" 😂 That's what makes documenting her so much fun. She's not just producing one impressive structure. There are substantial flowers distributed throughout the plant. And the more you look... the more you find. ──────────────────────── ☀️ SAME PHOTONS – DIFFERENT EXPRESSION And once again, this girl is doing all of this in the same environment as everybody else. The 8×8 continues with the expanded Future of Grow Black Series lighting setup. Two additional 600W fixtures were added to the room, giving us more available lighting capability and more control over how we use that capability. We're not simply running everything at maximum. We're controlling the output. Approximately: 🔌 ~59% power from the plug With approximately: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy. And Purple Haze Pheno A is sitting underneath those photons... doing exactly what Purple Haze Pheno A apparently wants to do. 😂💜☀️ Build. Stack. Develop. Grow. And make enormous flowers. ──────────────────────── 💡 MORE CAPABILITY – NOT MORE CHAOS One thing I really like about the lighting upgrade is that more capability doesn't mean we have to use everything at maximum. We have more headroom. More flexibility. More control. And that gives us the ability to operate the fixtures at a level that makes sense for the room rather than simply chasing maximum output. That's much more interesting to me. Because the goal isn't: "How much light can we throw at the plants?" The goal is: "How can we create a controlled lighting environment and observe how these different genetics respond?" And Purple Haze Pheno A is giving us one hell of an answer. 😂☀️💜 ──────────────────────── 🔬 SAME ROOM – DIFFERENT GENETIC EXPRESSION This is still the heart of the entire 8×8 Adventure. Twelve plants. One room. Same general environment. Same lighting philosophy. Same irrigation. Same nutritional foundation. Same 12/12 schedule. And... completely different plants. Some are slow. Some are fast. Some are compact. Some are huge. Some are building differently. Some are changing colour differently. Some are developing flowers differently. And Purple Haze Pheno A? She's one of our Big Mamas. 😂💜👑 She's showing us what her genetics want to do under these conditions. And I love that. Because we're not trying to make twelve identical plants. She's developing a really beautiful appearance. The colour combination is becoming one of my favourite parts of this phenotype. Deep greens. Frosty flowers. Orange pistils. Large floral structures. And that unmistakable Purple Haze character. 💜🧡💎 It's a beautiful combination. ──────────────────────── ?🧡 SHARING THE MEDICINE WHILE SHE'S STILL GROWING And speaking of the flowers... I've also been enjoying sharing some of my white hash medicine from the room. Not from this girl yet. She's still standing there very much alive and very much unfinished. 😂💜 Her chapter hasn't reached that point. But eventually... she'll have her own place in that story too. And when the time comes, we'll talk about everything properly. The harvest. The flowers. The cure. The smoke. The aromas. The flavours. The effects. And all the details that deserve their own reports. For now? She's still in the room. Still growing. Still developing. Well started flush on out door cheese well greenhouse indoor only just preflowering off site so less pics like the gorilla frisan duck so yeah more pics this week peace ended up chopping cheese 2 as bud rot struck so got rid and got 11.3 grams wet from 1 so quite low yield mould resistances not the best not the most crystals I have seen nor the least it's a 2 out of 10 so far yeah staying at 2 as was fun to grow but yeil was disgraceful 1.6 g dried she had the cheese smell and taste but little vegy so going to cure the remainder try in 2 weeks utterly as for the rest can't wait frisan duck has like 70+branches so she's going to be a nice harvest no pre flower yet peace

Nach 68 Tagen Blüte ist der Tag der Ernte gekommen. Glücklicherweise habe ich kein Problem mit Schimmel, Krankheiten oder Ungeziefer gehabt. Beide Pflanzen riechen gut und sind sehr harzig, wobei die Pflanze 2 stellenweise sogar extrem harzig ist. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich für meinen ersten Grow mehr als zufrieden. Wenn das Trocknen genauso gut verläuft ist alles in bester Ordnung.

Die letzten Wochen vor der Ernte waren echt noch ein auf und ab der Gefühle. Das Wetter, sehr feucht und kalt, hat es mir leider echt schwer gemacht. Budrod in einer Cola der Pineapple Express 😮‍💨 Die Cola stand deutlich im Windschatten, deshalb hoffe ich, dass sich die Pilz nur in dem Mikroklima ausbreiten konnten, die Sporen sind ja aber überall... Jetzt hängt alles zum trocknen und ich muss die Buds genau untersuchen, später bei trimmen werde ich ganz genau jeden Bud mir von Innen anschauen. Außerdem ist mir die Lemon Orange deutlich abgekackt. Die krasse Geldfärbung kam innerhalb von zwei Tagen. Ich glaube es kam mit einer trockenen Phase mit hängenden Blättern kurz zuvor, in der ich 1-2 Tage zu spät gegossen habe. Hat das Bodenleben wohl garnicht verkraftet. Die Pineapple Express hat aber echt von allen den intensivsten und süßesten Duft. Update nach dem trocknen. Wirklich mit Abstand die schönsten Buds aus dem Grow. Der Geruch ist wirklich sehr intensiv, wirklich krasse terps. Süßlich, fruchtig, ein Schlag in die Fresse. Und high macht es auch echt ordentlich 🙏

Will update smoke report once buds have cured and fermented long enough to where I say they are ready for a legit test. So far I can tell you that this is the most pineapple, tangerine smelling cultivar I have ever come across. I've always heard of the pineapple weed but this is identical to the tropical fruit. This crop also is the fastest flowering crop I have grown in sometime. Harvest in 50 days from flipping into flower. Had some stretching going on with some golf ball / Coney type flowers covered in resin. I am looking forward to smoking on these tropical / citrus flowers.

Day 92. Girl went down. Very easy trim job. Day 101. She brought wonderful result ! 161 g of sticky, smelly and sweet on through weed !!! Happy Growing !!!

Voltage, also known as electric pressure, electric tension, or (electric) potential difference, is the difference in electric potential between two points. In a static electric field, it corresponds to the work needed per unit of charge to move a test charge between the two points. In the International System of Units (SI), the derived unit for voltage is named volt. The voltage between points can be caused by the build-up of electric charge (e.g., a capacitor), and from an electromotive force (e.g., electromagnetic induction in generators, inductors, and transformers). On a macroscopic scale, a potential difference can be caused by electrochemical processes (e.g., cells and batteries), the pressure-induced piezoelectric effect, and the thermoelectric effect. Since it is the difference in electric potential, it is a physical scalar quantity. A voltmeter can be used to measure the voltage between two points in a system. Often a common reference potential such as the ground of the system is used as one of the points. A voltage can represent either a source of energy or the loss, dissipation, or storage of energy. Dropping the temps will slightly raise the humidity, air holds less % water the colder it is. Lights on 25-35rh% the same water content will spike to 50rh% + at night just by dropping the temps. At night all the juice photosynthesis has been storing up is mashed and mixed up to make all the goodies we need for bud, water is used to transport all these things everywhere, like little solvent transport devices, once a nutrient/protein has been delivered to destination the plant needs to get rid of all this excess water molecules it was using to transport. The only solution at night is to spit it back out into the air at night. During the peak of flower, this can catch a grower unaware, with a 4x4 full tent it can be a challenge to control all that moisture exhaust overnight especially if you're really pushing the limits. We live in a water world, above or below, our misconception is we live on dry land, we don't live in less watery conditions than above or below. We fit into a very narrow band of moisture that just so happens to be full of lots of air and everything else required for life. Got my first full whiff of the smell of purple lemonade, always surprises me how accurately the smell fits names, the dominant terpenes in the Purple Lemonade weed strain are carene, linalool, limonene, and myrcene. Carene gives this strain its sweet, citrus flavor and some woody notes, whereas the linalool I recognize so well from Granddaddy Purp. Myrcene has been shown to have sedative qualities while bringing musky, earthy elements to the flavor profile. Trichome production started to ramp up, and the plant that grew taller/closer to UV showed noticeably thicker coatings. The taller plant shows slight yellowing of lower leaves, and the smaller plant is green and lush but the buds are slightly less progressed, interesting. I super-cropped the main stem of the tall one just over a week ago (clean). I expected it to be the one slightly behind in development. The plant has roughly 10-15% "Total resources" that it keeps in case emergencies arise. Reserves if you will. My rationale behind breaking anything goes hand in hand with slowing things down as production is lost due to the time it takes to repair damage. I recall watching a YouTube video, where a curly hair gentleman would super crop in a manner to damage but not disrupt using a twisting method, using fingers and thumbs placing them close together one goes clockwise other counter clock this varies a lot depending on the thickness of stem but what you wait for is a tiny snap, it may take several rolls to weaken if walls are tough I found. No snapping or bending of the stem, you want just to fracture it but not puncture this way the xylem and phloem channels remain flowing,the damage is repaired almost instantly and the 10-15% is dispatched with very little repair time. Everything in the general vicinity of the stress will now grow stronger so as to prevent further similar damage. This is why I had expected the tall one to lag behind in development once I had cropped it but low and behold it worked and the tall one has slightly more developed buds. The effects of birdsong on plant life may at first glance be far-fetched. Nigh on ten years ago an article appeared in Nexus Magazine on the discovery or invention of a method of growing plants using bird sounds. Christopher Bird and Peter Tompkins describe the development of Dan Carlson’s Sonic Bloom in their book The Secret Life of Plants. Many others have, it seems, recognized the role of birdsong in the growth of plants, and influenced or directly helped Carlson to develop his invention. Dan Carlson’s desire to see that no one need be hungry through shortage of food sought to understand the optimum growth of plants. He discovered that plants also feed from ‘the top down’ as well as the roots. Underneath all leaves are pores called stomata which open to take in nutrients and moisture from the air. Carlson’s observation that the more bird life there is on the farm, the more abundant is plant life, has been echoed by farmers throughout history, except in modern times. Where there is little bird life, plants are stunted, and dwarfed. Nature has the birds sing at dawn and dusk, which dilates the stomata, and so feeds the plants. One can immediately see the importance of trees. The development of Sonic Bloom was to create birdsong, which is played to the plants, while a foliar nutrient is sprayed onto the plants at the same time as they are being stimulated by the sound, to enhance their growth. This method produced fantastic results in the amount of abundantly nutritious produce from one plant, often in poor soils and in drought conditions. Carlson showed that the breathing leaves of plants are the source of the nutrient intake for growth. This of course is also true for humans—the breath is food. We shall discourse on this on another occasion. Plants transfer nutrients to the soil via this breathing, and Carlson showed that his plants improved the soil and helped earthworms proliferate. The secret of Sonic Bloom was the development of the music of the same frequency as the dawn chorus of the birds. With the help of a Minneapolis music teacher, Michael Holtz, a cassette was prepared. It seems that both birds and plants found Indian melodies called ragas delightfully suitable. This is actually quite profound, although the American farmers, especially women, who had to endure this music whilst it was played to the plants, found it irritating. Holtz found the “Spring” movement of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons appropriate and concludes: “I realized that Vivaldi, in his day, must have known all about birdsong, which he tried to imitate in his long violin passages. Holtz, it is related by the authors Bird and Tompkins, also realized that the violin music dominant in “Spring” reflected Johann Sebastian Bach’s violin sonatas broadcast by the Ottawa University researchers to a wheat field, which had obtained remarkable crops with 66 percent greater yield than average, with larger and heavier seeds. Accordingly, Holtz selected Bach’s E-major concerto for violin for inclusion on the tape. “I chose that particular concerto,” explained Holtz, “because it has many repetitions but varying notes. Bach was such a musical genius he could change his harmonic rhythm at nearly every other beat, with his chords going from E to B to G-sharp and so on, whereas Vivaldi would frequently keep to one chord for as long as four measures. That is why Bach is considered the greatest composer that ever lived. I chose Bach’s string concerto, rather than his more popular organ music, because the timbre of the violin, and its harmonic structure, is far richer than that of the organ. Birdsong has long been loved but also studied with reference to the musical scale and harmonics. As Holtz deepened his study he said, “I began to feel that God had created the birds for more than just freely flying about and warbling. Animals are blessed with instantaneous and unthought-out wisdom. They are in direct contact with God and they act and live as though they are fully aware of it. Men are also in contact with God, but most of them act as though they have never heard of God because they are largely veiled from their divine center by their own thinking minds of which they are so proud.

Feeds are down to 1.6ec as I remove the more pk from her diet. She just gets greenbuzz nutrients organic bloom for the duration now. Lights are at 60% giving 1100umols average across the canopy. Dry yield is sadly an estimate, as I smoked some as it cured and then sort of got my jars mixed up lol. But the top half of the plant was definitely 5.6 grams. Then I just added what I thought to be the second box of buds lol woops. 9.3g is the LOW estimate of dry weight. Either way, it'll last me ages.

Canopy height increased visibly. · pH/PPM Stabilization: I managed nutrient stratification by lifting the pot tops to mix. Settled sediment was successfully reintegrated. · Concentrate Calibration: My homemade 5-7g/1.75L of A&B batch was measured at 3,455PPM and tested for real-world effect (+42 PPM per 100 mL in ~10 L). This is now a reliable tool. These grow lights are powerful and they’re great but they don’t cover a lot of like for what I need so this should open up my spectrum quite a bit and get the correct like that. I need. You aren't just growing; you are actively hacking the plant's secondary metabolite pathways. Your brain connected the dots perfectly: Phenylalanine is the exact molecular starting block (the precursor) the plant needs to trigger the phenylpropanoid pathway, which is the biological assembly line that builds those anthocyanin colors. By stacking Proline, Glutamine, Glycine, and TMG, you are loading the plant with powerful osmoprotectants. What up Fam. Weekly update on this big girl. I'd have to say it might be the biggest auto plant I've grown. It's drinking 1gal a day and not showing any signs of slowing down. The colas are stacking amazing with flower sites. Looking forward to the upcoming week's. Happy

Bien aquí esta el día esperado la cosecha, es mi primer cultivo y considero que lo logre. En muchos medios de lectura y en especial en vídeos mencionan que no puedes esperar mucho es tu primer cultivo. En mi caso es falso y lo demuestro ya que si aprendes, investigas por cuenta y lees lo suficiente, obtendrás un alto porcentaje de que los resultados se den. Muy contento con mi plantas y sus tonos morados. Puntos a mejorar tener una carpa de cultivo y por su puesto un extractor de humedad para que baje la humedad preferiblemente a 45 grados Vendrán mejores contenidos y cosechas mas abundantes. Out of the 4 that cracked open, 2 of them will move forward which is all I need! Especially if they're as vigorous as the NL Auto from Sensi. I have the A100 Aerolights at %25 for a 20/4 light cycle really close to them. They're loving life in the new pots, while tilling is saw many worms and the topsoil was a lovely bunch of worm castings. The next move for the 5x5 is going to be either a buttload of small pots for a phenohunt or a massive pot to carry on my single tent single plant modus operandi. 14 days from dropping them into a shotglass of water.
