We’re starting a new week and have officially entered the flowering phase! 🌸 We switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle, and the plants are responding beautifully, growing 5-10 cm every day. Our SCROG net is doing a great job keeping the canopy even, ensuring all parts of the plants get enough light. The Timor shield mantis is happily patrolling the garden, providing natural pest control. We've placed a hygrometer within the canopy to monitor humidity, which sometimes exceeds 70%. We're considering adding a dehumidifier to keep levels in check and prevent mold or mildew. Any tips on managing rapid growth during flowering or keeping humidity levels in check? Week 1 of flowering and she’s turning into an extremely bushy plant with a massive number of bud sites. Switched to bloom nutrients and started guiding her into the generative phase. Did a light lollipopping and defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration across the canopy.

Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. So, what does it mean when your plants are showing off big, luscious leaves? It’s a clear indication that they’re happy, healthy, and thriving in their environment—big leaves mean lots of energy being produced and stored for future bud growth. Exactly what we want! 💧 Precision Feeding with Aptus Nutrients 💧 This week, I took a deep dive into my Aptus nutrient lineup and shared a video explaining how each product affects the water’s pH and TDS. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. The precision I’m able to achieve with the AMP-3 is mind-blowing—I get immediate feedback on pH, temperature, and EC, allowing me to make real-time adjustments and ensure the perfect environment for nutrient uptake. 📊 Environmental Mastery Thanks to TrolMaster 📊 Speaking of control—let’s talk about the TrolMaster system! Between the DSH-2U Humidity Station and all the other sensors, I’ve created the perfect environment for my plants. Here’s where we’re at this week: • Temperature: 26.2°C • RH: 70.6% • CO2 levels: 775 ppm • VPD: 1.0 kPa • PPFD: 423 Thanks to TrolMaster, I can monitor and adjust these metrics in real time, and the best part? I can do it all through the TM+ Pro app, even while I’m lounging in my green papaya leaf hat! 😆 Whether I’m checking the CO2 levels, adjusting the lights, or fine-tuning the humidity, it’s all in my hands with just a tap of my phone. Talk about convenience! 🌱 P.S. – Inline Sensors: Heavy-Duty Precision 🌱 Now, let’s talk about the heavy-duty players in this game—the (PCT-2) Heavy Duty Inline EC/Temp Sensor and the (PPH-2) Heavy Duty Inline pH Sensor. These bad boys are connected directly to the AMP-3 Precision Meter, and they’ve been absolutely crucial in giving me the most accurate readings on my water and nutrient solution. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. Together, these inline sensors allow me to run a super-tight ship—every drop of water and nutrient is dialed in to perfection, keeping the plants happy and healthy! Shout Outs! This one took a longggg time to finish, i ended ip harvesting at the end of 11 weeks. the best way to describe the end smell is grape and pinesol, its very aromatic even at 3 weeks post harvest. incredible terpene profile

Week 16 (6/6/22 - 6/12/22) - FLOWER Week 2 Ladies respoded well to last weeks trellising and defoliating.

he behaves well outdoors we will see what he can offer us later ... it is not long before he starts his flowering ...

Day 50 - Starting week 8 today and she doesn’t look any worse thank yesterday with the lime green leaves so hopefully feeding her nutes hopefully helped her but we’ll see in the next couple days. Day 51 - No significant lightning of the leaves today so I think I got her enough nutes in time so hopefully she’s got enough in the soil to now to push that bud development. She’s definitely a really dark purple and it looks pretty amazing in person, the pictures do no justice. Day 52 - Looking really dark purple now and love the colors. She’s starting to put out a slight citrusy smell as well. Her leaves haven’t really lightened up anymore so I think she’s gonna be ok till the end. Day 53 - She’s chugging along nicely and looking gorgeous. Tested the soil and still a bit damp so will wait a couple more days before giving her some water. Day 54 - Things look great now with this girl. She’s starting to dry out and bit so will give her some fresh water and some cal-mag tomorrow. She’s really darkening up and looks gorgeous. Day 55 - Gave her almost a full gallon of water tonight, she seemed pretty thirsty. I’ve been wanting to upgrade my lights and saw nothing but good reviews on the AGLEX 1200W COB LED and was a decent price so I ordered it today and should be here tomorrow. Really want to see if it helps keep the tent cooler than running 2 cheapo 1000W LED’s. I’m sure it can’t be any worse so can’t wait to get her hooked up tomorrow and see what she does for the rest of this grow. Day 56 - It’s the end of week 8 and all is looking good. I got the new AGLEX COB LED hooked up so really looking forward to seeing if this light will help in the grow. She’s already looking good but hoping this light will push her over the edge. She doesn’t need any water or nutes today and will probably give her the next feeding of nutes sometime this weekend.

Day 36: Girls looking pretty happy. Still some discoloration going on. Doesn't look to be spreading though. Day 37: Ok, the girls obviously were not happy this morning. I watered with quite a good amount of runoff and measure the PPM at 3200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm surprised they are still alive! Had to make a quick run to get some water for a flush as I only have 5 gallons worth. Ran 2 gallons through each of them at a ph of 6.4 around 9:30 this morning. It's now 5pm and they have pulled through great. These OG Kush are extremely resilient. Day 38: The girls look way better today after flushing yesterday. Two of the pots were almost completely dry already. Went ahead and fed at 500ppm with runoff. Day 39: I think it's dialed in now. They are looking amazing and still stretching pretty good. Went ahead and pulled off a handful of leaves between the 5 of em. Day 40: Did a little more defoliation and opened them up a bit. I am super worried about getting any type of mold or any issues in particular for this first round. One of the girls needs a touch more but ran out of time. Girls are looking super healthy! 💪 Day 41: They are looking super awesome. Got the runoff dialed in. 750 going in and roughly 800 coming out. May up it in a week or so. Day 42: Nothing new to update. Girls still looking amazing. I think the stretch may be slowing just a tad.

Day 41 Start of week 7- the 3rd light looks like it has added some over-all weight, however, doesn’t look like I’ll pull a gram per watt out of the 3 lights together. We’ll find out soon enough, few more weeks.

This was a effortless week 🐱👌 all plants (except 1runt) were topped and given their first feeding..new growth has already developed on most.. A few plants are distinct from all the others, there's only 2 different strains but it looks like way more at the moment. We're expecting a bunch of vegetative growth this week, will update..thank for dropping by growmies and happy harvests ❤️
