This week has been a recovery week. Cleaned the roots in alien root rot x..turned lights down to 4x250w chiller still struggling..waiting for new big one..roots still look a little brown but nute solution is brown. New roots coming out of baskets nice and white and thick. Plenty of new growth. Keep topping and have added lst to try and combat stretch and allow light in. When running advanced ph perfect at half strength ph is too high at full strength ph drops back into the 5s. Ec at 2.8 but no sign of nute burn yet anyway..

Green Cure CBD Auto germinated and has sprouted easily. Every seed I started all germinated. So she is getting acclimated, and should start growing very soon. Everything is looking good. I did provide a light feed to help with ph stability in coco. She is off to a good start. 📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her. Hello Week 8: Everything runs like clockwork. PK tea secret recipe works at full speed. Tomorrow morning there will be the next vaccination. I think then the growth rate will explode generatively exponentially high... The Sweet Seeds girls should be ready soon, which means their last PK tea and then only gentle watering. Today finally arrives my Sweet Seeds shipment "Jealousy Z XL" from Spain... I think that my crowning debut will be in my new Homebox Ambient XL yes !!

Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2 (Flowering Plants)- This week both Raspberry Ripple phenos in the flower room, began to build their nugs! I was very impressed at how quickly they both began to form nugs, I noticed the flowering begining on day 11! The number 2 Pheno is looking average and she didn't fill out the trellis net quite as good her sister strain, however she seems to be going strong! The number 1 Pheno is really impressing me, it really filled out it's canopy and sports branches and a stalk nearly twice as thick as the number 2. It has also already began to form purple flower. Any pictures of the flowers that I've seen from this Mosca (x) Tiki Madman colab online, have been rich, purple phenotypes with chunky nugs; so I welcome the purple flowers. I suppose the increased anthocyanin production in the number 1 Pheno could be stress related, from the stalk split or the other accident it had in the veg tent, that knocked a branch off. However this plant seems very happy praying every day since the flip! So it doesn't worry me as much as it could! I went ahead and gave a little more top dress Build a Flower to get them through the stacking/ bulking phase. I prefer a "less is more" approach in the smaller pots im currently using so I amend less quantity but more frequently throughout flower. Ive got the lights up to 80% power (320 Watts) Stay tuned, I have a feeling these nugs are about to 🚀 Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2 (Clones)- The Number One Pheno's clones have all been topped. The Number 2's will probably be topped next week; when they are about 10-12 inches tall. I've been getting good branch growth on the number 1s since topping. I've still been alternating Silica by Cutting Edge Solutions and Microbe feed (Fish Sh!t and Trinity from Roots Organic) every other watering. My grow-bro who took a clone from one of each phenotype, has been reporting the ripples are going crazy in his full cycle mushroom naturally soil as well.

All the plants are doing well. Banana #1 is definitely ahead of the others in her flower but the other two are coming along these are all taken on day 48. They are averaging a growth of 2 cm a day in growth. We have changed them the last two weeks to 18/6 lighting and it seems to be helping them in general. The last two watering they received no food as we felt we had been giving them too much nutrients and wanted to give them a wee break. They will be fed tomorrow. Still not sure what the yellow spots on the leaves are but I think it’s something to do with the nutrients they received, I had thought it was lack of Cal/Mag but no one else thought so. They have never been given Cal/Mag before.

Hindu Kush isn't doing so great. I changed the solution 2 days ago. I am hopeful that it fixes it. She will likely be getting switched out into another room so the bigger plants can flower and not get too big on me. So she will be a long grow if she makes it.
