Strain description:
Amaretto Tarmac was born from the cross of two varieties with a high pedigree: on the one hand, the tasty American Amaretto Sour; and, on the other, the resinous Apollo Black Cherry. This union results in a sativa-leaning strain that will certainly captivate those users looking for a psychoactivity that is both powerful and energising, and which induces creativity.
This is a 5-star strain whose terpene profile is something incredibly special: the combination of a hot tarmac aroma on a bitter background, along with an Amaretto flavour and a mix of cherry, blueberry, and kola undertones. A truly unique taste that is a must for those with the most demanding palates who are in search of new experiences.
With a relatively short flowering period for an 80% sativa-dominant strain, Amaretto Tarmac will be ready for harvest in just 8 weeks (in late September when grown outdoors). The girls smells amasing and are starting to fatten up. Some of the branches are starting to lean as the buds gets heavier and so i decided to start flushing at the very beginning of this week. I have planned a 10-14 days of flush but i might give #1 a few extra days or a week in flowering. I am flushing with PH'ed water (6) and i am adding 15 ml of Bud Candy for the first flush. I will add 7.5 ml next time and then flush straight PH'ed water for the rest of the flush.
The buds on #2(back left) are stacked with frost and smells unbelievable. Like straight diesel from the gas station. And the auto flower Blueberry420 auto from AMS are just stacked with frost as well its not that visable on my camera but was under 12/12 from seed and will produce no more than 15 gr. in my estimation but for sure it will turn out some delicious smoke. The other 2 i dont want to talk about. Bad growing techniques from me and maybe one bad seed but super nice journey it have taken me on

Grow Diary: Durban Poison Girls (Week 6)
Dates: April 17 – April 23, 2026
Status: Vegetative Stage
Overview
The girls (DP1, DP4, DP5, and DP6) are looking robust and vibrant as they hit their stride in Week 6. The foliage is a healthy, deep green, and the stem strength has significantly improved this week. We are maintaining a strong indoor environment while watching the Easter Colorado weather closely to time their move to the deck.
Weekly Environmental Log
The weather was a bit of a rollercoaster this week. While indoor temps remained stable, the external conditions impacted humidity and light intensity coming through the windows.
• Temp/Humidity: Consistent indoor temps at 22°C–24°C. Humidity was slightly lower this week due to the breezy outdoor conditions, requiring a bit more frequent misting to keep the "Sweetener" uptake optimal.
• Weather Highlight: April 17 was quite chilly (5.5°C), but by the 20th, we saw a beautiful spike to 26°C. The girls enjoyed the extra natural light boost from the back porch windows during those sunny afternoons.
Feeding & Maintenance
We stayed the course with the organic regimen this week to ensure no nutrient lockout before the big transplant.
• Nutrients: Half strength FOOP Veg and Sweetener administered on Tuesday (April 21).
• Watering: Soil was drying out faster this week as the root systems expanded. Switched to a slightly heavier watering volume to ensure the 50/50 soil blend stayed moist but well-aerated.
Plant Observations
• DP1 & DP5: Showing the most vertical growth. Might need a final top above the fourth node if they continue to stretch toward the light panel before Mother's Day.
• DP4: Very bushy! The LST is creating a nice wide structure that will fill out the 25-gallon fabric bag perfectly.
• Pest Control: The African marigold seedlings are coming along nicely—no signs of fungus gnats or mites on the Durban girls.
Upcoming for Week 7
• Prepare the 25-gallon fabric bags with the 50/50 Miracle-Gro mix.
• Monitor overnight lows; we are still about three weeks out from the safe "after Mother's Day" transplant date.
• Begin checking the "Garden" calendar for hardening-off windows.

Do-Si-dos auto is doing good. She got some defoliation and lst today. She is due for a solution change very soon. I will be switching her to the blooming nutrition at that time. She has shot out her first pistils. The next few weeks should be a lot of stretching. Nothing more to report at the moment. Thank you Zamnesia seeds, Athena, and Medic Grow. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱🌱

I think about the fact that it is no longer necessary to cut leaves. I cut it a lot, but I notice that many people cut a bunch of leaves at one time, although somewhere I read no more than 10% at a time.
When I gave fertilizers, I always diluted them with water even more to reduce ppm
Day 68: I added cal-mag to the diet because the leaves are really turning yellow from the bottom. 0.5 ml
Day 70: I added 1 ml cal-mag

I am extremely impressed: Zamnesia and Plagron !!!! Auto Runtz showed no negative emotions throughout the growth :) Plagron nutrients gave her what she wanted ;) In general, this whole trip was something unreal, (with such a result I have a little hope of winning a prize from the ongoing competition :D :D ) Her aroma is full of tropical fruits!!!! (I can't wait to taste her :D:D) So from my travel suitcase, I got 225 gr of wet harvest weight, I am really happy about that :) (probably 50-60gr of dry flowers), by the way, I will also publish the dry flower weight, as soon as she is ready for it :) I did a lot of photoshoots, but unfortunately my lighting was not good, so I didn't get to take better photos ...
