Week 12: Tangie Finish Line in sight Today, I checked Tangie’s trichomes and noticed that 20% have already turned amber. This signals that it’s time for a flush. I’m using pH-balanced water (pH 6) with an EC of just 0.092 ms/cm due to my extremely soft water. My goal is to stress Tangie a bit in these final days to boost trichome production. I plan to remove some fan leaves two days before harvest and let the soil dry out slightly. She has about 4-5 more days to go. The aroma has become incredibly strong, with a vibrant, fruity scent dominating the air. It’s amazing how much more potent this smell is compared to the pre-harvested buds, which are now in the curing process and beginning to release that delightful orange and citrus fragrance. I’m eager to compare the flavor, potency, and high between the early and late harvests. The finish line is definitely in sight and I'm happy that I could let her ripen entirely to she what she is capable of 😍 Update 17.08 (Day 82) Today I decided to finally harvest the rest of this lovely Tangie. The trichomes showed a good mix of amber and cloudy trichomes, and I don't want to risk letting her overripen. I opted to cut only the fan leaves again to ensure a slow and consistent drying process. Day 29 - Things going along nicely .... i trimmed down some of the bigger bottom leaves, i didn't have enough soil to fill the pots, and the plants are short, bushy, weird little things, that filled out the inside of the pots..... they are only 15cm tall, but the leaves are 10+ cm .... really weird little plants.... haha.... i decided to trim the fk out of one of the ones in the double pot, and practiced topping on her.... i'll cut her down maybe trimmer her of the pot, and focus on just the 2........ they seem to be still growing upwards, so i'm not in a hurry to put em into flower mode......... on the main one i noticed some neut deficiencies ... so i upped the neuts.... should be ok, i put a good heavy neut and it stopped the spots etc..... i think some bug or something got in the double pot and is livin in there, but he doesn't eat much, haha....... the main stalks are as big as my thumb and under each canopy is all the branches..... it's really strange, to go in under all the growth and see it all .... they look kinda small, but the entire under canopy of leaves is all full .... i'm moving the huge sized leaves out and pulling each branch up over them as they grow..... this is 21 THC and 19 CBD, so it's all the good stuff for medicine ... the smell is getting abit noticable and i'm hoping the exhaust fan arrives from china soon.... just got positive ventilation into a carbon fil. ... and daily air out........ i think i had the led lights too low..... so i'll raise em abit more and see if i can get em to stretch .... Day 30 -- added some video's...... daylight vids... worth watchin for a laugh ...... first grow, so idk what i'm doin, ... any help/comments appreciated Day 32 -- added some pics of the late night trim and LST,... idk looks ok.... Děvčice se strašně rozrostly a zmohutněly. Vypadají zdravě , Mimozz už pěkně nakvétá a jsou to keře jak cyp . Cherrytini je lehce pozadu s nákvětem . Jinak se me strašně libí celkový růst i ve strečinku , vypadá to že budou takové mohutné a budou se držet při zemi. Ted už začne ta pravá podívaná 👌

Day 43/Flower Day 15 - Stretch, stretch and more stretch. Literally have all my headspace taken up and that’s using flat LED Bars! It’s not for want of light, these things HAVE to be getting a DLI over 45 now if not near 50 (I need to do a test)!!! Defs going to invest in 2 Royal Blue LED Bars for next grow. As soon as I bend over/tie down one set of big pushers, another pair start up that were not being shaded/shadowed by the previous set. Worried too with the stretch being as severe, the yield will suffer! As noted in comments, will be venting the building the grow tent is in better very soon but when I can get that done is another thing!!! Looks like I am going to have to pull my extraction out of the tent and run a blow through the carbon filter and get some more ratchet hangers to give me an extra 9"!!! Has to be Heat/Humidity and then the feed from the lights giving them what they need. Luckily, I am due to be receiving a 6" AC Infinity Setup tomorrow so may be the way to set it up just for the last 8 weeks of the grow. Also had 2 brand new RAM 7" Oscillating fans pack up within a few hours of each other...not 4 weeks old and they're done! The Sweet Cherry Pie defs not setting buds as quick as the Red-Hot Cookies...they look a few days to a week behind. This also probably means the last of growing different strains in the same tent! I don't have the space/means to set up a drying tent and need to use the grow space for that so need them to finish the same time. Both these are supposed to be a same week finisher but with the slower budset, I don't know - I could over-ripen the RHC or take the SCP when a bit under. Basically, that's it though. Nothing more to report other than things I have to engineer to get around! From the looks of it, I'll have no room to get my UVB tube in when the time comes but, dunno...we'll see. Have upped the Bloom Nutes now to be higher than the base to fuel the initial flower set. Have a bit of lower leaf fall off from lack of light/plants using the reserves and probs going to have to do a bit of a defoliate by the end of the week to settle humidity and have them top buds concentrated on. Apart from that, Happy Growing all!!! 💪

Flowering day 43

Very beginning of week 10. She is gearing up for flower. She is stretching, but I keep pulling everything down. She has been 36 inches for a month. She is about 41 wide. 8/13 Her pot was on the dry side. Gave her 2 gallons of water. I'd say 10 percent run off. I use the ph strips. I bring water home from my job. Their water is the perfect PH according to the strips. I test her run off today. Looks like a low 6. 8/14 2 gallons of water with 8 tablespoons of fox farm Big Bloom and 1 teaspoon of recharge. I do like the foxfarm products. Some Big Bloom can make a sick plant healthy. Have to check, think she is ready to be fed. 8/16 per 2 gallons 4 ml Grow Big, 4 ml Tiger Bloom 1/2 teaspoon Open Sesame 8/18 4 Tablespoons Foxfarm Bigbloom and 1/2 teaspoon recharge. Per Gallon 1 day I will get a ph meter. First year spent enough. The plants look very healthy. Unless the strips are completely worthless, she looks to be in her happy place. She was fed very well the past week. I might do 1 more water then feed. She is forming her sites. 8/13. Makes it easy to space the sites out. Also to know what to remove. Have to force myself to cut off what's not making it. Think flower.

Everything was great!! I loved growing my plant. It grows so fast and tge best part was smoking it. I hope to grow much more next time. I am buying a bigger light and hopefully next time I will have more buds and bigger.

Beginn Woche 7 Blüte Langsam legen die Buds an Masse zu. Außer Tank füllen ist nix zu tun als Abwarten😉 Die 50l reichen so 4-5 Tage dann muss wieder nachgefüllt werden.

Almost the end of the week. I thought I'd put up a midweek post. First week of flower almost in the books and the stretch has started. Everything is going well so far. Nutes dialed in, plants happy, the green thumb is working its magic.

Bloom Feed Week 6: Cut down the EC faster than usual, because they seem to finish faster than planned. No more Voodoo Juice Plus, Big Bud and Rhinoskin. Just Base and Bloom and one last handfeed with Bud Factor X on monday. Did a last small defo on day 35 to open up the canopy. They are swelling up nicely and most trichs start to turn milky, resulting in some nice fruitsalat/strawberry banana gum aromas.

Keep an eye on ph and EC I change reservoir every Monday Bucket change - EC 1.9 -2.0 , ph 6 REMEMBER MY EC INCLUDES WATER (0.4).

Now they are a bit bigger , this is the start of week 2 , now day 19 in real time from germination. I would appreciate any help to maximise the yield. I feed around 500-600 ppm. How much should the drain be ? I have to plants struggling, one had 500 run off , should I give nutes or flush them more ?
