DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. This week went really great! Plants are looking super healthy today at day 22 from seed!! Today they got a dose of just pure water phd at 6.5 ! Temperature an humidity has been staying pretty stable everyday, staying around 70-75 degrees and 58-61 % humidity!! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! That’s the calcium + nitrogen backbone for the feed. Step 2 – FERMAKOR PK Base (Part B) 15 L water in the main barrel → added 30 ml FERMAKOR PK Concentrate, mixed well. This forms the main P + K part of the formula. Step 3 – Combine Solutions Slowly poured the Calcinit mix into the barrel while stirring — no reaction, still crystal clear. That confirms the mix is stable and precipitation-free. 🌿 Step 4 – FPJ / FFJ Batch Added 30 ml homemade FPJ (fish + veg batch) ≈ 1 ml/L. I currently have the ladies drying in my dry tent on day 3 now. I have my temperatures around 61-63 degrees stable, with 50-60% RH fluctuating. Will be updating the diary with weights once they finish drying and I get them all trimmed up! Thanks everyone for taking a look, super stoked with how my first run turned out and will be starting my second run in the next few days as well so super excited. I have learned a lot from this run and looking forward to implementing things into my next run to improve. Will also update more info about the strain once I have it for sure. I ended up with 18.3 ounces of nicely trimmed buds, and a ton of larf and trim (26 ounces) which is fine because I will be dry sifting and pressing on the nugsmasher! I did press out a little and have some work to do to figure that thing out and dial it in. I have learned a ton from this grow and look word to applying to my current grow. I see and have a much better understanding of feeding, training, and now I kinda see what is and is not going to developed that much. Going to give these girls time to cure. Will update. Day 78. Humidity keeps very high, all fans on max, extraction exhaust is on 70%. Day 83. Found maybe WPM on one plant, so now all air movement on max of all maxes ;)))) Happy Growing !!!

We have made it to the end of Week 6. Conditions in the tent have improved DRAMATICALLY. The heat wave has finally passed and the temperature has finally leveled out. Not only that, the super weird monsoon weather that we were having has also passed and now the humidity is not rising above 60%. This turn for the best is really showing and also fixing the pH problem I had also probably helped a lot. The color of the buds is really coming through now. They are showing lots of light blues and a little orange and I am loving it. I am planning on pushing the nutrients a little higher these next two weeks, around 750-850 PPM. Hoping to give them a larger shot of overdrive to keep them pushing these last 2 or 3 weeks. Overall I am SO excited for this plant, I can't wait to see what her harvest will bring!!!

Scusate se ho saltato delle settimane del diario ma ho altre 60 piante a cui stare dietro alle legature dei rami,ho applicato il fimming in fioritura e i fiori sotto si sono gonfiati provate per credere,non dovete tagliare molto ma solo i primi 2 mm del fiore,le piante orange sherbet sono state coltivate in contenitori diversi,uno air pot da 11 lt ed è la pianta già pronta per la raccolta,e l'altra in uno smart pot da 20 lt e la pianta sta ancora crescendo e formando i fiori,bellissima genetica,agli inizi pensavo male per via della grandezza,ma devo dire che è molto resistente e cresce molto se gli dai lo spazio. Alls been good flushed 2 plants and chopped them also got new feed so letting 1 go a bit longer think I'm seeing a resin gland appearing on a bud but not sure yet,I'll let use know the overall weight at the end

Girls well into pre-flower. Saw some nute burn from last feeding so backed off and just watered with ph balanced water and small dose of calmag. Small defoil of the bottom fans and small off chutes.

Day 73 The plants look healthy and deeply green. First buds have appeared — flowering is going great. Over a week ago I removed the base nutrient Simplex Coco. Now running only Power Feeding Bio — mixed it into the coco and topped the substrate with it. Watering with plain water at pH 5.7–6.3, CalMag, and flavor additives at 1–2 ml/L: Simplex Aroma Punch and Taste. Previously these same plants showed nitrogen toxicity — red petioles on the large fan leaves when using Simplex Coco base at 2 ml/L as per the manufacturer's feed chart. On bio nutrients and water, new growth is coming in clean. Some leaves still show minor spots from previous acid overdose. A week ago I ordered basic pH and TDS meters from a local marketplace. Now dialing in the water properly: first bringing TDS to the target level with CalMag, then adjusting pH down with Simplex pH Down. Sometimes as little as 1 ml of acid is enough for a 15-liter bucket. The new auto-irrigation system arrived — in the coming days I'll set up drippers in the substrate and find a 5-liter reservoir for the tank. The speed at which the Durban plants have started flowering in a fully blacked-out tent is impressive. Waiting for some fat buds! 🌿

10/13 - Thus far the 2 ladies are coming along quite nicely as we near harvest - I have began giving them both close to freezing water both clean and for nute feed to increase trichome production and terpene profile - temps and humidity are stable at 69-68 temps (F) and 61 - 65% humidity. 10/15 - I have increased there feeds as we get closer to harvest to increase trichome production and resin value - The buds are sticky, smelley and super densed - I have been offsetting there feeds alternating between heavy Cane Molasses/Cal Mag & Phos/Potas/Cal every other day - The temps have been between 69 - 74 (F) and humidity in the low 60's - Planning for harvest to be in about 3 maybe 4 weeks tops - Stay tuned 😎😎😎😎

Well this little lady is certainly growing nicely! We have some unusual growth going on here, the plant is also quite bendy for some reason. I'm not sure why but I'm still very hopeful that we will get to harvest without issue. So here's what I did this week! 3.7.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 containing the following nutrients per 2ltrs; ♡ 1/4 TSP Cal-Mag ♡ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.2 PPM: 824 Plus an additional 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 containing the following nutrients; ♡ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys ♡ 1/2 TSP Cal-Mag PH: 6.6 PPM: 1010 6.7.25: I had some water left over from watering in a seed. Transplanted to bigger pots this week seems to be going well

Plant ready to be harvested in 1,5 - 2 weeks so I stopped feeding it with nutrients. The flowers got bigger and much more sticky. The smell became very strong.
