It rained steadily today so my watering duty was taken care of by Mother Nature! 5/25- The diatomaceous earth that I spread around her along with spraying her down every other day with Neem Oil, and every three days with an organic insecticidal soap seems to have taken care of the attacks on her leaves which has improved her vigor noticeably. 5/27- I watered the GG4 Sherbet today via garden hose and began to train her branches, preparing them to start spreading out through the trellis net. 5/29- Wow, two months ago this little lady broke ground and look at her now! I cannot wait to see how she'll be looking in another two months! I'll be getting ready to top dress her soon, probably in the next few days with some 4-4-4 and worm castings, then she'll really start to take off! Cant take my eyes off my plant. This is my second round of growing and I am the type of person who learns through failure (not gonna upload the pics of the first round plants lol). The buds are thickening up very nicely. Hoping to get between 3-4oz , the strain is high yielding but I have a smaller tent. My auto yielded 2oz with the same space (2 plants in one tent splitting the space), but the buds definitely didn't develop as well as these buds.

Just updated with some final product shots -- the dry ice method was a new one for me -- It went pretty well except I f'd up and dumped a bunch of trim into the sift -- contaminated 1/2 of it -- I smoked the other 1/2 😁 I am happy with this run - it produced some stellar buds --- Gelato Rules!

Day 107 - Day late and a dollar short on my Update! :P Haven't added any new nutes...just topping up with water on the current base and then will flush around Thursday. The Cookies Kush all look done...pistils been brown and shrunk for days now. The Purple punch still showing a lot of white pistils though and its the oldest of the 4 plants and should be done the quickest (Per Barneys Flower Time Expectations). Am well over the 8 weeks now and will play the flush by ear, like I say, expecting Thursday for a 4 day flush in Hydro but may stretch the current nutes out the end week to see if the Punch Browns (It is fox-tailing slightly...but this can be expected with Purple strains). Apart from that, nothing else to do but wait til harvest! :) Also, have to note...can't say I have sen an increase in frosting using the 10K bulb from where they were before I introduced it a week ago but could be something that's been that gradual, its really been unnoticeable! What I have noticed with it is Cola Leaves starting to Pray, so they're getting some light intensity without bleaching or burning so it has done something...if its beneficial, I can't really say!

budding up nicely now. One pheno looks to be growing different bud formations and is much more frosty. O stupidly didn't take a cut of this in veg so I've taken a flower cut to reveg and try monstercropping.

This strain was a breeze to grow. The purple phenotype is hands down some of the best herb I have ever tried. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to grow a highly resilient, highly potent strain. Thank you to all those on this platform. Thanks to Creepy_Steeve for the legendary tips, in this diary he guided me to remove a shell that was stuck on a seedling, now it has become one of the biggest plants in the crop 💪🙏 Flowering begins.I did defoliation on the lower tiers on day 4 of flowering ------------------------------------------------ Water: tap water at 300 PPM, I add 0.7G of Hybrid powder per liter to reach 800PPM and I adjust the PH to 5.8. These have come on leaps and bounds in the last week. I have struggled with temps been way to high, outside weather hasn't helped, so much so I have bought a bigger tent today to try and combat the issue and also transplanted into bigger pots.

-Notes Green crack is over 34 inches while the La chems around 24. Next time i do a diary i will do each plant differently. Light height is 12 inches from highest colla which belongs to GC1. And let me say wow. Not only did she bounce back but she has went back to outgrowing all the other plants with stride. If a pro grower had this seed she would have got her own 3x3 cause that is a 1 pound plant. So.. I flushed TD2, GC2 and TD1. Nothing major just about 3 gallons fush each. Most of the ppm readings where already low. Its a good idea to flush out the soil. Already the lime green color is gone from gc2. Td2 is starting to frost golden brown. So far all the plants are on the road to good health. My ppm is around 600 but going to bump up to 900. We will see. We did the final defoliate. Mainly cleaned up the bottom of the plants and a few of them got pruned. Also cleaned out the tent and wiped down and moved fans around. -GC1 has grown almost 20 inches this week. Insane. I am about out of room in my tent. My light is near max and the colas are 10 inches away. Just going to have to deal with the fox tail later on those sadly. Any advice message me. Td2 has grown a few inches only in 2 weeks but the buds are fattening up. The La Chems finally started stretching. I am guessing 3 or 4 weeks on td1 and 2 weeks after gc and la chems. We will see.

Week 10 brought on a wave of maturity. The plant is clearly in her final chapter - the fade has intensified, but it's graceful and expected. Buds are swelling, the scent profile has deepened, and structure remains solid and symmetrical. 💛 Yellowing & Defoliation I removed a fair number of yellowing fan leaves this week. Most came off effortlessly, the stems giving way with a gentle pull. The yellowing has crept upward slightly, but no signs of distress or runaway deficiency. It's senescence - and it feels like the right time. 💧 Feeding & Watering This week I broke my usual rhythm and fed twice in a row, both times at full strength, which the plant handled perfectly. The yellowing seemed to halt afterward - no fresh tip burn, no clawing. Nutrient mix (per 2L water): 3.5 mL Micro 3.5 mL Grow 5.0 mL Bloom (PH’d to 6.43 using hard tap water) On Day 70, she was visibly dry, so I gave her 2L of plain pH 6.43 water. She drank it eagerly - dryback is getting quicker as the buds pull harder now. 🌿 Aroma & Structure She's putting out a layered, sweet-and-spicy scent - cookie dough, citrus peel, pine, and a warm touch of cardamom. Colas are dense, resin-heavy, and impressively uniform. The trellis net came off this week to open up the canopy and prepare for harvest. 🧠 Harvest Considerations According to Zamnesia’s specs, she could be ready around now - but visually and chemically, she’s still not there. I'm aiming for a harvest on Day 80 (July 24), just before I leave. Someone else will handle the chop shortly after I leave for vacation. The trichomes were still mostly clear at the end of this week, with no amber visible yet - but we’re watching closely. I’m not chasing heavy amber, just looking for that sweet spot of peak cloudy with a touch of amber for depth.
