Day 35: The ladies have been steadily bud building and oozing sticky icky for the long haul this week. C Banana continues to push to the canopy top to grab some light and her smell is starting to pick up more now. She still isnt a big girl by a long shot but her bud stacking and feel should give some nice product. The Monster Zkittelz is now looking like a skinny armed version of G Glue. she has a lot of lowers that need more light now so I need to do a spot of training with canes I thinknthey bring her up to a better level for lumens. They have been taking plenty of feed and do not show any signs of any issues to date. All told , a steady week.

Um Schimmel vorzubeugen haben wir nochmal ein wenig entlaubt. Das Durstverhalten wird auch geringer. Die Purple C. K. im Garten macht sich gut. Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. Addendum for Day 53: At the moment we unfortunately have another winter onset here in Germany. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. After all, just tonight the thermometer climbs again to -1 degree Celsius. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! OMG... still so much time yeahh! Today my Fast Buds Sour Jealousy and Sweet Seeds Big Devil and Dark Devil Automatics arrived. I'm looking forward to it. This time Fast Buds next Time Sweet Seeds. Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. They popped up 2nd of January after germination. Biobizz soils mixed just using oxy plus for first couple of weeks as well as silicone

Baklava de The Plug Seeds es un cruce de Wedding Cake X Gelato. Hay varios Phenos (3) el mejor para mi gusto es bastante púrpura y de gran rendimiento. Soporta bien altas cargas de fertilizante como además las altas temperaturas de verano. Con el frío tiende a cambiar el color a negro/purpura con tonos de verde lima y rojizos cobres. Terpenos que recuerdan a una bolleria o panadería, toques dulces, mantequilla, frutos secos, canela, miel y el pheno Gelato sale mas a crema dulce terrosa. Hay un pheno que es bastante mas Kush y Gassy! Altos contenidos en THC y muy buenos resultados para hacer extracciones.

Happy gardening. 07/21/2018 Wow unseasonably cold last night got down to 48° brrrr. No signs that the cold bothered the girls posting photos in a min.. And video. Phew took me awhile to upload. 07/24/2018 Mid week update Back to hot and, steamy summer weather. #1, tops are just about 39.5", going to try to get all super cropped to about 30", I expect that they will be double their size at harvest.👍. On a side note hours of light will soon be at 14.5 hope they initiate flowering,as it will give me almost 3 months of flower!👊 #2 is 43.5" looking like a Christmas tree,still some supercropping to spread out the lower layers. #3, is 35.5" And no training just picking her dead,yellowing leaves #4, is 41.5" also no training #5, is 30" , and still stinkiest 😎 of all gonna take a clone today.

She grew 11cm taller this week. Bushed out a fair bit too.

So far, so good. Little defoliation, nothing major. As stated before, most likely not topping this run as I'd like to see the natural growth structure. I'd also like a more chilled grow this round too. Not too ling till i flip as they get big in hydro. Day 33 - girls are looking good, just ashame about the 4th girl not making it, but all dependant on genetics 3/4 still good. Most the environment is now dialled in. Will be flipping the next few days. Nutrient dose is currently under what is recommended as less is more when in hydro. Day 34 - All healthy enough and ready for some flower production. Will hopefully flip these girls tomorrow.

End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. Not going well, think I'm locked out??? I'm using sensi grow coco which is supposed to to be ph perfect yet still on lick out????? Brought a GOOD ph pen&tds pen,I flushed a full litre ph 6.0 through both girls and I'm now just maintaining a perfect pH level&bumping up my nutes a little more each day....

Using the paper towel method, my girl's taproot starting showing after 24 hours. I also buffered my medium with Multi Total and Calmag, before flushing with pH 6 water to a low EC. Once the taproot was 3/4 inch long, I planted her into the coco and watered her with RO water at PH 6.2 for a few days. I also switched my light on (first at 20% power and 30 inches away from seedling, gradually up to 40% at 25 inches). Until the first leaves unfurled, I kept the light on for 24 hours. After the first cotyledons opened I switched my light to 18/6 at 60% power and have given her the first dose of nutes at EC 400. Think we can say germination was a success so on with week one! 🌱 💡

I lost the pics for the first weeks of veg unfortunately but the most important time the flower is all on film;)

The smell of the Fruity Donutz is getting stronger by the day. It's nice to see how different both phenos are developing. One turning into a trichome covered hash plant while the other lady is growing big purple buds. I water them 2 times per day and they're really thirsty. Going from the strain description they have 2 weeks to go now before harvest, but as always I check the trichomes to see when they are at their top potential.
