Everything still looks good this week. The leaves are healthy, and the buds continue to develop nicely 🌸✨ I watered twice this week — on September 16th and September 19th. Each time I used 10 L of water with 3 ml of Alga Bloom and new added 1 ml of Green Sensation 💧🌿. The plants currently get direct sunlight from around 12:30 until about 15:00, depending on the weather ☀️. After that, the house starts shading them. This week I also did quite a lot of defoliation again, mainly to prevent the leaves from shading the buds and to improve airflow through the plants 🌿✂️💨 So far, the weather has actually been quite favorable. The mornings aren’t as humid anymore, and there’s still a nice amount of airflow around the plants. Even though it rained during the night, the plants were already completely dry by 8 AM. It was also quite windy on Saturday — you can see it in the video 😄💨🌿 Hopefully this weather will last. I need at least another three weeks of reasonably dry conditions to get them safely to the finish line 😄🌸☀️ Fingers crossed! 🤞🌿

Week 1. One of the plants was confused. Didn’t know where the light was

Sep 13: took a second round of buds. Have now taken off 2 kg of wet buds with 1 kg fresh frozen and 1 kg done as ice water hash. This is equivalent to 500 g dry bids already taken off of this plant with another big chunk still to go. Very nice hard buds off of this plant. Sep 19: the remaining lower buds turned purple last night and look great. Will harvest the rest of it tomorrow morning.

All the plants have started their flowering. The Gorilla Punch and the Pound Cake are ok but the Apricot and the Orange Sherbet are under-developped. Trop Cherry #8 x BeeJayz hasn’t been topped, I transplanted the girls this week from a 1 gallon pot to a 3 gallon pot. Trop Cherry was in a plastic pot but now in a fabric pot. Plants seem to be growing well.

Both girls stretched nicely despite selective defoliation on Mar 9. They bounced back almost immediately. Started adjusting mixtures towards removing fish mix completely and replacing with Bio grow. In coming week will adding bio bloom and top max to mixture. There was 2 waterings of 3ltr on Mar 9 + last foliar feeding and second on Mar 13 and it was first large feeding 6 ltr beetwen both. Surprisingly only a few drops of runoff. Watering in stages of approx. 500ml every 20-30min. Decided to not install a scrog this time as want to have opportunity to apply more old school methods of training and to be able to remove/rotate girls easily. Let's see if this will pay me off. El añadido de Sticky Fingers sigue marcando la diferencia, potenciando no solo la cantidad de resina sino también ese perfil aromático gaseoso y afrutado que ya empieza a llenar el cultivo. The organic girl got transplanted in 7l pot with all-mix biobizz soil at the beginning of the week. The first watering after that was a week later. The EC of the run-off was on 2.53 as you can see in the picture, so I flushed it with ph(6.5) water mixed with the nuts I mention above(EC 0.32). I flushed until the EC got down to 1.3. I don't want it to get burned again cuz of the high EC in the soil. As of today, day 29, the newly adolescent plant is looking perky again. As far as I can read on the Biobizz bottles, all the nuts have a very acidic ph. That makes sense considering that they are organic and they need to have a long shelf life. No bacteria or fungus will go in such an acidic medium. Therefore I find it essential to increase the ph of the water after adding the nuts. Another thing I noticed is that they now released a CalMag product(finally), which they recommend using especially when using RO water.

19/07/20 (Sunday) 7AM - Set 4 seeds to germinate in cups of water (Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, Columbia) 7PM - St. Vincent and the Grenadines seed shows taproot 9PM - Trinidad and Tobago seed shows taproot 10PM - Seed from Jamaica shows taproot 11PM - Set the 3 germinated seeds into individual half gallon pots filled with promix. 20/07/20 11AM - SVG seed rises to the soil level 8PM - Jamaican follows suit 11PM - TT also exposes itself 21/07/20 The weather and forecast for the week show scattered showers and the seedlings are showing early signs of stretching so I decide to build a makeshift grow tent to supplement their light cycle while bringing them outside for a minimum of 4 hours every day to acclimate them. I decided on a 75W output LED bulb with a temperature of 6500K and 1055 lumens while using my room fan to simulate wind for healthy stem growth. 22/07/20 The plants show slowed stretch symptoms but still not to the level I want, so I revamp the 'grow tent' with reflective material (crumpled aluminium foil for more reflective surfaces) and upgraded the bulb to a 100W output LED with the same temperature and a higher luminousity of 1350. One cotyledon on the SVG strain was broken but not completely sheared off, but I'll leave it to its own devices. 23/07/20 Columbian seed has yet to germinate so I added another from my backups. 24/07/20 Seedlings have shown normal rates of growth so I think the current grow tent is sufficient. When I took them outside they endured light gusts and rainfall for a half hour during their sun bask. I decided to add foil to the door of the tent to trap more light in. 25/07/20 Tropical Storm Gonzalo may make landfall today and the skies are set up for thunderstorms so I decided to keep the plants in their indoor setup for the full 18hrs of their light cycle. Since both Columbian seeds still show no signs of germination, I decide to go collect another strain. I got my hands on a 21 day old Dominican Republic strain that was grown in a seedling tray and left there; It was fed once with 20-20-20 and calmag. The cotyledons were white, the stem red between the top nodes and yellow the rest of the way down, the leaves a light green, and it was no taller than 2 inches excluding it's 1 inch sq root cube. I immediately transplanted it into my remaining half gallon pot upon returning home, dampened the soil with my spray bottle and left it to sit with the others and finish the light cycle.
