Killer purps is growing great! This plant suprises me everyday with more and more new growth. This plant gives off a really skunk type of diesel smell combined with a fruity maybe blueberry sort of smell. Alot of resin on the sugar leaves. Some of the pistils are already turning orange. Happy growing everyone. Hoping for atleast 2.5 ounces but fingers crossed what do you think my yield would be.???🤔

It is harvest day for Miss Sweet Skunk. Due to the excessive rain this week and two places of bud rot, Mother Nature forced me to take her down. 2 more weeks would have been nice but that didn't happen. If you have been following me then you know that Miss Sweet Skunk encountered a terrible misfortune. It hailed one evening and one of her two colas was broken. My husband found her damage first and taped her up and then put a wire tie around her. According to the grow diary question/answer platform, I was able to learn that we had done the right thing and changes were good that she would recover from her injury. Not only did Sweet Skunk recover, but she went onto growing at a height of 2 feet, 11 inches. That is just under 100 cm. According to Royal Queen website, "Sweet Skunk Auto seeds produce plants that grow to a very manageable height of around 60–100cm." AND even though Sweet Skunk had a broken stem, she GREW! This plant was a very tall and lanky plant. Her buds are plentiful but started out quite small. I wish I had another couple of weeks to see her reach her full potential, but that is left for another grow. For now, I am happy she survived all the weather that Mother Nature threw at her this week and it is a good day:) **The last two pictures are pictures of my indoor grow of Sweet Skunk that I did NOT record on grow diaries. However, it is a great way to compare an outdoor grow and indoor grow of the same strain. Stay turned for weigh ins.

Tag 25: Umtopfen der 4 Schwestern in 11 l Air-Pots. Ich habe Bio-Bizz Coco mit ca. 20 % Perlite gemischt. Auf jedem Boden der Airpots habe ich ca. 5 cm dick Blähton (Plagron Euro Pebbles)als Drainage und bessere Luftzufuhr an der Unterseite des Topfes eingebaut. Von 6 Pflanzen, die 4 ähnlichsten und gesündesten ausgesucht. Die Blattfarbe ist schon „sehr“ grün😁, daher wurde in dieser Woche die Düngezugabe etwas reduziert. Ich werde es diese Woche beobachten und wahrscheinlich nochmal reduzieren. Die Mädchen benötigen nicht viele Nährstoffe. Sie entwickeln sich optisch eher Indica mäßig, klein, runde Blätter und buschig.....wir werden sehen. Die Temperatur schwankte zwischen 19 Grad in der Nacht und 25 am Tag. Die RLF schwankt zwischen 45 und 55 %. Heute werden die Ladies getoppt, dass gehört jedoch in die nächste Woche.... also dann mehr dazu ✌️🏾

The plants are ranging from 36”-38”…. We just purchased Flower Fuel for the buds. And pruned all the plants this week. Lastly we gave the plants pH balanced water with loranne flavor extract and unsulfured molasses.

This week growth. It's been growing really well and the smell has completely changed to a dank candy.

📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her. d33 Hoy subo fotos unos días antes de esta semana, mejor, tendremos más fotos. Hoy me he puesto a revisar un poco las plantas y me he dado cuenta de que las Lemon Krystal son hermafroditas, la que estaba en la parte de dentro, solo tiene unos pocos sacos de polen que todavía no están maduros, se los he arrancado y cortado 2 ramas que tenían mala pinta con eso, el resto de ramas parece estar bastante bien y son flores macho, la Lemon Krystal que esta mas cerca de la puerta del armario, esta bastante mal y la tendré que desechar ya que no quiero que polinice al resto de plantas. También una Kandy Kush, la de la derecha, le he quitado 2 flores macho, no parecía tener más, unas flores espontáneas, pero semillas a granel a veces pueden pasar estas cosas, no es lo normal, pero parece que la cepa de Lemon Krystal esta un poco jodida... Para añadir, la LK que parece que podremos sacar adelante(pero bajo supervisión) tiene una rama que tiene 4 cogollos en vez de 2, mola, pero si no se pone a sacar flores macho, la podremos continuar haciendo seguimiento. Tenemos un cogollo de la Kandy Kush(planta del centro) que es doble. Puede ser que tengamos algo polinizado en el Indoor, pero pues es algo que ha pasado, espero no tener muchas semillas mermara la calidad... d35 Unas fotitos rapidas... Parece que estan progresando las deficiencias, a final de semana añadiremos un poco m'as de abono a ver como responde

The plant is drinking over 3 gallons of water every day. I’ve lowered the PPM’s to 600. Everything seems to be ok now. I will try to change the reservoir water every 5 days from now on. She started to smell amazing! Very lemony 🍋 P.S. Lowerd the TDS to 550 PPM on day 46. Also just realized that I stressed my plan with to much light. I moved the light at 13” and dimmed to 95% ... I will continue to dim it 2% every day...
