Buds look like they might get phhhaaaat!

I started using fertilizer. I use biobizz grow, fish-mix and alg-a-mic. I water it 2 or 3 times a week, adding the amount of fertilizer I specified in 1 liter of water each time. Huge difference for last week. I think I'm progressing well

Hello y'all 👋 If you remember there ended up being two of these because of another strain not making it into the growroom. I chopped one this week but I will do the harvest once I chop this second plant. The first one is a beauty as you can see in the pictures and her smell is lemon, citrus n skunk There are only a few left to harvest. The smell of this baby is crazy and really fruity. The buds are really getting sticky.. It's a pleasure to grow this strain and really getting hard not to harvest, but I still do not see amber trichomes yet and I hope buds will grow bigger the next couple weeks.. But looks so awesome now. #fastbuds is awesome...

Hi Gromie's, upped nutrients & turned light up to 75% (360w) which has helped raise the temperature to 22-24°c. Have had really good growth this week have topped a 2nd time and training branches , using nebula haze's (grow weed easy.com) mainlining method keeping the first & 3rd node's. Untill next week 👍☮️

Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Merry Christmas everyone, im happy with this strain she grew well. Plant was 4weeks on 18/6, then 12/12, after harvested fotoperiod she was 14/10 and last day 24hrs, im happy with results buds smells very strongly of mandarines then grape tail- pretty fruity fresh. Cannot wait for dry buds! Happy growing gardeners 👍 17.1.2024/ Sorry fellow gardeners I need finally end this diary. I have lots of reasons of innactivitty, just LIFE IS A PAIN - PAIN IS A LIVE. My kidneys are not in the best shape. So I decided growing for 1 year. So SSH dry weight was 120g, AH 132g. main problem was space and i will fight with this again. Sorry for my late comeback. Life is unpredictable

Pretty easy first grow, with a lot learnt along the way for next time. I believe not defoliating enough and overfeeding the nitrogen in flower hurt the bud density in the end, but I'm more than happy with the returns and as its vape use, dense flower is less important to me.
