End of week 10 - Day 70 / 35 of flower Another good week at the parlour. A lot of hours spent in the tent yoyo-ing the biggest colas. Half way through the week nearly all of them had fallen over so I had a full evening trying to make some space and hanging them up. I messed up a feed at the beginning of the week and over fertilised them with PK which can be seen on some leaves. For the last 3 feeds they've been on only 0.5ml per litre to try and reverse a bit of the damage. After today they come off PK completely and onto the BioGreen X-Blast. Obviously with this being my first grow I have nothing to properly compare too just other diaries. Only 1 or 2 of my friends grow their own medicine but regardless I've never seen weed like this (in person) in my life. The frostiness is next level. Even with the lights on you can see just how many Trichomes these have produced. It's looking like they will only need another 3 weeks. Plan is to carry on following the feed chart for for another 2 weeks and if I see any signs of cloudy Trichs I'll start to flush them untill they are 50/50 cloudy and amber. I really hope these keep going strong. I just cant wait untill I can pack a bong and take a rip of my very own home grown weed!

Week 11 started I think that the plant is near to the end, maybe a couple of weeks or less. During this week I will start to check trichomes, my objective is to have 50-50 milky and amber. This will be the last week with nutrients. D71: changed the water to the pot, added 30ml bloom, 15ml micro, 10ml pH-. D73: first trichomes check today: 40 crystal, 50 milky, 10 amber. Added four liters of tap water. D74: added 3 liters of tap water with 5ml of pH- D75: added 3 liters of tap water.

So this one started slow but healthy. She was a sativa that expected much more leg space and warmer humid climate which i fixed later. Needs LsT. I hit it with my concoction to keep her short it worked. Dense nugs especially for sativa hybrid. Not loud but tropical sweet. I needed 11 weeks min for flower could run 12 even though I seeded mine. Tiny sativa seeds like the original ibl bred by jaffa seeds uk and brought to me by Pevseeds. Not bad for under a cheap 120w led quantum and 3 gallon grow bag. I should have went with 5. The roots were amazing dense.

This week i defoliated on day 18 because i have way too many top coming out and too many lowbuds that were getting no light from being covered by layers and layers of leaves. All strains but the og Martian have real tight internodal spacing.

Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here👍. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. From the moment she popped her head out to the start of week 4, this girl was fimmed, pruned, trained and flipped. She put out a full oz. more than the 6 week(v) mainline beside er😳. Now that is just straight amazing😎. The key advantages - BIG F$&K’N YIELDS and auto pilot care for up to 2 weeks. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. Here’s where strain, medium and method kinda collide though. This girl was on a hurry up and go schedule. We lost the first one to root rot and had to get this one off the ground and mature before the cycle sched. Was gonna flip. Not to mention it was totally screwing with our spring nursery timing too. She was fimmed once and then splayed with LST. Not much either - just enough to get er spread apart a little. So you combine ultra fast growth rates of hydro with a big yield strain like this on a fast paced training method that limits required recovery times... and you get this monster. Just a perfect grow that anyone would be extremely happy with. We used frozen water bottles In the res. twice a day throughout the grow. My issues with light leaks and temps are well documented and I’m constantly running up against one or the other as a hurdle. This plant was no different and she started to re-veg. In the last few days prior to chop. All due to a light leak from the cabinet beside this one that was running on an 18/6. Gonna have to plug some light holes prior to next grow. Other than that - she was amazing and the method here is getting an unusually high and very rare 5/5.😳 Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 The final number is just so sweet. 6.04oz and she veg’d less than a month. Overall, I could confidently say that’s both faster and better than most typical autos in general😳😎👍👌. Any time your rock’n out 5+oz is a good haul but in this kinda time frame - that’s just crazy. We let her go just a little longer (again, as per Spliff’s direction) and it was worth the extra patience. She’s dense as all hell and a nice add to the stash🤟. J'ajoute du Bioenhancer une fois sur 2. Certaines de mes Lemon Orange ont poussé plus que je ne m'y attendais ! La semaine prochaine, je vais retirer les sceaux que j'ai mis en dessous pour essayer de les remettre à la même hauteur que les autres. Sinon les plantes m'ont l'air d'être en bonne forme.
