This was a fun little project with a few ups and downs. Overall it was a success. I managed to get 86 Seeds off of the two plants, this is a smaller number but given that I started the pollination about 2-3 weeks late I am impressed. Top this all off with the fact I was using 10ppm silver solution for the majority of the reversing process and only had 30ppm for about a single week near the end. Moving forward if I plan on reversing anymore plants I will be investing in some STS vs Silver solution. It's easier to use and has stronger results. I also managed to get 25g of bug from the plants as well that I will infuse into some butter. Not to worry these are not the branches that where sprayed with silver and they have been cut off and disposed of in the composter. When I decide to grow these out I'll try and create a new diary and test if the CBD/THC ratios remain intact, if the plants are viable. I have not tested the germination rate on these seeds and for all I know they are duds or will not resemble their back-crossed parents. This is my first seed making project and so much is new and unknown to me. Have had lots of help along the way from some good GD friends. Tried to post lots of photos and products I used. The photos labelled [PREVIOUS HARVEST] where when I first grew this wonderful strain out. It has the same peppery kush smell and crazy deep purples as it first did. I did shock these plants with a heavy feeding that stunted them greatly, I also transplanted them when I should have started them off in their forever pot. This was all explained in the weekly entries when it happened and why. overall the autos are not heavy yielding but more average for an auto and that's ok with me. Its the smells, taste colours and CBD contest that draw me to it. Somethings to note from the diary, most of the liquid nutrients are diving by how much water I gave them, typically 4L. Solid nutrients are divided per litre of medium in the pots or they are the total amounts I added. Just ask if you have Questions.

Well it's safe to say the foop will work with legit strong good bacteria! But the focus has to be on the root health when it comes to how much food you can add and still maintain healthy roots. But the game changer for me has been switching to a air stone, 1st and for most. The recirculation pump suggested by foop when running foop in dwc ran the solution temps into the high 70's around 77°F and anything over 75°F has been where root rot sets in for me. Even switched to way smaller recirculation pump with same results. So switching to running a air stone was big! But also found that running one Vivosun 317GPH Air Pump 15W split to 4 plants was not enough air for the roots to be happy in the foop plants. So I moved to a 2nd air pump, same size per tent. So now it's only split to 2 plants on the foop plants. And that made a big difference! But found after a few weeks that I had to bleed a slight amount of air off because there soo much extra air the humidity was sky rocketing in the tent to high 80%. So there's a sweet spot where they get extra air but not soo much that the humidity is affected. But the 2nd most beneficial thing I've done is start running Orca. It has made such a huge difference. I think I need to go up with how much I'm using or find something that works even better if possible. But the sweet spot now is 8 to 9ml total of each foop veg/bloom 1,2 and sweener. When I go to 12ml with foop 1,2 the roots take a noticeable hit. So idk how I would go to the recommended 20 to 50ml per gallon as suggested on the foop grow chart. Currently running around 6 to 10ml orca total per feeding. And adding 2 to 4ml when I add foop 1,2 mid week amd got happy roots! Also the Seaweed extract has made a difference in the smell the plant puts off. Last few grows have been really muted with smells and this grow I actually get hit in the face when entering grow room. So has made a difference forsure!! I'm soo excited!! I had skipped a feeding because I had been feeding a few tines mid week. And that's when all the yellow edges showed up I've been trying to get her back on track feeding mid week 4 to 6ml foop 1,2 and has made a difference forsure! I also added a Exhale C02 bag. So hoping that kicks her in high gear, but she already seems to be doing better! I also need to get back to trying to master the art of getting the ph to stabilize and not climb every 24hrs. Another solid week with more sun, but the plants got kinda shot up from wind. No damage, but after a whole night of wind the plants were leaning a bunch and looked visibly frightened. Strung up the wedding cake for early training and it’s looking a lot better, CC seems to have mostly straightened itself out. Let me know what you guys think!

Second week of flower out the way plants coming on well had a nice stretch over the last two weeks , one week to go before give them a good defoliation, conditions been spot on and haven't had a issue yet so hopefully all stays well till harvest

harvest day for the AK47 and Amnesia Haze

This week I decided to recruit my husband to get a proper look at this girl's roots. She's gotten so damn big that it's impossible for me to get a shot otherwise. Her root ball is massive. She's large and in charge. I went through and gave her another thorough round of defoliation. What I removed was any droopy leaves in the underbrush, as well as any fan leaves that were casting shadows and blocking light from my bud sites. When I was finished, I was able to stand over my plant, look down, and visibly see through to the base of my plant and grow media. Being able to do this suggests to me that my light source is also able to penetrate down throughout the plant as well. The removal of these leaves also contributed to improved air circulation and decreased humidity - both which are important as we progress through the flowering stage. This week I also caught my first whiff of this plant's sweet aroma. I'm excited to see how her terps develop over the upcoming weeks! 😋😋😋 I cloned another branch off this plant. Room setup rundown, examples of bud, et al in pictures... Seedlings/Clones lights - Viparspectra XS1500. Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. They suck a big fat dick to skip a line to suck a bigger dick. They come in different shapes, too. Basic process The little light takes care of seedlings in 2.5" wide seedling pots until first up-pot. The 1-gallon pots fit well under the FC4800 in a 4x4 tent until day 21 after sprout. I plant 150% or more of what i need, so i can kill the weak without concern. The goal is for every plant that makes it to the 5-gallon up-pot being capable of producing a minimum of 160 grams with a maximum of a 35-40 day vegetative phase. Third up-pot is into 5-gallon nursery pots and now under the 3 DIY lights and the 650W light in the big tent for a couple more weeks of vege. An irrigation system in the big tent saves a lot of time. One scrog for training and another for support, just in case. Reverting back to a more systematic approach to canopy composition moving forward. About 2.3 colas per sq ft and 8 primary colas per plant. Yields were similar when over-crowding and being less systematic, but the proportion of less dense nugs is greater and trim time is needlessly elevated because of that fact. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.
