Grow report week 4: The training and the topping Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the fourth week and have grown further. But they have also experienced some measures that I will tell you about. The training This week I continued the low-stress training (LST) and tied the plants further. The LST is a method to gently bend and tie the plants to improve the light distribution and air circulation. The goal is to keep the plants low and wide and promote more side shoots and flower heads. The topping In addition to the LST, I also applied the topping to make the plants even bushier. The topping is a method to cut off the top of the plant to interrupt the apical dominance and produce more main shoots. The goal is to branch the plant and produce more flowers. I performed the topping as follows: I watered the plants well to reduce the stress. I cut off the top of the plant above the third or fourth node to create two new shoots. I observed the plants and looked for signs of stress or shock. The topping also worked well and the plants recovered quickly. They formed two new main shoots that will later become large colas. They also put more energy into the side branches, which will also carry more flowers. The fertilization I also fertilized for the first time this week, although I actually wanted to start late with it. I used the Fish-Mix from BioBizz to give the plants more nitrogen. Fish-Mix is an organic liquid fertilizer that consists of fish parts from the North Sea and organic sugar beet extract. It stimulates the biological activity of the soil and the plant growth. The Fish-Mix did well for the plants and they showed more growth. They formed more leaves and shoots and became greener and healthier. They also absorbed more nitrogen and produced more proteins. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the fourth week. My plants have been well trained and topped and have shown great growth. I am very curious about the next week, where I have to activate my setup completely to give the plants their final place and pots. It will be exciting for me to see if my system works as I wished. I will continue to observe the plants and respond to their needs. I will adjust the light intensity, the fertilization and the training to achieve the best results. Und weiter geht's, Die Pflanze hat sich bis auf 70 CM gestreckt. Ein paar weitere Blätter mussten entfernt werden, der Tank brauchte auch eine Reinigung und es gab noch mal ne Runde Bio Pk Dünger. Erste leichte Mängel in Form von Rostflecken sind auch zu erkennen. (Ich werde erst mal beobachten ohne Panik zu schieben.)

plants are going to be too big. i will have to figure something else out because i havent done any LST or anything to get them to stop,i wanted to see what they look like completely natural . i will probably angle the light and supplement the blurple light on the other side, and just turn the plant a couple times a day. if you have a better suggestion let me know

Cool wet week, crazy storm just dumped 30mm of rain in a day, really really wet. She seemed to handle it well, all dried out now, no loss so far. Next few weeks sunny warm and dry, thank you mother nature. Last top dress 30tbsp GG, PB/AP 70/30, will still do weekly kelp and monster maxx, but drop silica and molasses. Buds are getting frosty, should start packing weight the next few weeks, pistils are just barely starting to brown, so 2-3 weeks easy. Most of it will get snipped and straight to the freezer for bubble hash, so I'm looking for quantity of smaller buds not mass, and she's delivering! Keeping up with BT, found 3 leaves just laden with moth eggs, glad I caught them in time!

Acapulco, gold has gone absolutely crazy, and we have so many branches. I have lollipoped her this week, too. She is still stretching, hopefully that's going end real soon, because we have no room left in the tent, and we're getting light burn. I have been moving the plant around to maximise the light exposure and minimise the light stress and heat damage, she has been drinking heavily. However, I have not watered too much as I have a lot of fungus gnats in some of the other soil that I used so I'm going to be letting it dry out a little bit before I water again. I'm just trying to get the fungus gnat population under control with some sticky traps. Week 11 has been exactly the same as week 10. There has been some light yellowing one Girl #1 and some of the hairs are starting to turn orange. The colas aren’t very dense. Girl#1 has been doing some weird fox tailing on all the colas.My temperatures haven’t been over 77 and my humidity hasn’t been over 55. I have seen this before in other diaries with other stains. Guess that’s just comes with the territory of ruderalis crossed strains. Can’t really complain cause this is my first rodeo with Autos so I’m just happy to have this experience. I officially think the delayed Pineapple Express auto might not even have the autoflower trait. It’s been 11 weeks and she hasn’t showed the slightest chance of ever flowering. This is really frustrating and deflating. I’m gonna definitely have to put this girl into 12-12. That will have to be after girl #1 is finished. I’m very appreciative of all who show your continued support and give insightful infomation. Can’t wait to see what this harvest will be. This is my first official auto grow. Han llegado a 1 metro de altura sin contar la maceta. Riego día si día no, están bebiendo entre 1litro y 1,25. Empiezo con canna flush para ayudar a la limpieza de raíces ya que me es imposible sacarlas del scrog para regar y drenar. Desde ahora solo agua. La planta que tuvo un comienzo amorfo (al fondo a la izquierda), es la única sin apical ni FIM, parece que va un poco detrás de la maduración respecto a sus hermanas con apical/FIM. En unos 10 días más o menos cosecharé las que estén maduras.

Besonderheiten: Wir mussten sie jetzt toppen da sie zu hoch wurde und das Dach berührte, es besteht die Gefahr von Schimmel oder das die Blätter Schlächter wachsen. -Tag 131 sie wächst immer noch weiter und wir schneiden sie immer noch weiter😫 -Tag 132 heute wurde sie nochmals gegossen.

12/24/18 Decided to make bubble hash with the trim and small buds from all 4 plants. The bubble hash is now drying. This plant has been a dream to grow. No problems from her at all. I even found a couple keeper phenos as well. The black magic soil and fertilizer, along with the aerated nutrient teas that these ladies were feed worked to perfection. All organic living soil is the way to go! Im not finished yet. I will update this diary soon with dry weight and a smoke report once the ladies are done drying.00000
