Day 37 Week 5 update: Not looking awesome. Appears I have a root aphids or hopefully just soil mites “arthropods” and maybe thrips.. going to be fighting soil and plant pest.. :/ Update: went to store and grabbed Neem Max by Bonide, Alaskan Fish fertilizer Got some yellowing so I added 1tbsp alfalfa meal top dressed for nitrogen boost. Currently brewing a veg tea/ foliar spray. About 2.5 gallons dechlorinated water 1 tbsp alfalfa meal 1 tbsp kelp meal 1 tbsp super fly insect frass 1 tbsp crab meal. Half tsp molasses Half tsp fish emulsion Will feed/spay tea on day 39 (48 hr brew) For veg tea. Will spray plants foliage with NeemMax today (D37) to start fighting thrips or any pest. Day 38 decided to feed with a bonide mixture. About 3-4 tbsp per 2 gallon split between the veg plants sprayed into soil and roots. Aswell as a light spray for each plant in the flower tent although those plants seeem to be doing better I have yet to inspect. Wanting to keep areas as separate as possible while dealing with veg tent first. Day 39 plants drank up the bonide mixture surprisingly overnight and feed the Veg tea about 40 hour brew. Looks prime time to use as well lots of bubbles indicating microbe activity. Also sprayed folliage with the tea and lights off for 15-20 to let leafs dry off first. Also .. slight issue I’ve been measuring my umol incorrectly.. my measurement reads in lux and Foot Candles.. Basically I was giving my plants about 50-80 Umol instead of 400-600 like I thought. Same for flower. That being said very impressed with what I have achieved with very minimal light. Hopefully my plants won’t get stunted from the correct light.

Hardly any leaves left now. Pistils on most buds are browning and turning in. Most prominent bud still going strong, though. Feeding only water now.

Thank God we are at the end because I have a sudden infestation of TSM. Going to harvest end of the week and give the space a good cleaning with a strong mix peroxide, top to bottom! I hate TSM!

So that's my first ever grow completed! And something tells me i don't think it will be the last 😁🤔 overall I am proud as punch with the end result. Overall from 7 plants I ended up with 5 1/2 oz dry, top buds seem to be more compact and built up, apart from that the majority 70-80% are very airy, however absolutely packed with thc shining! Being my first grow its all for personal use so i dont mind 😁😊 any suggestions moving forward for future increase in fatter/denser nugs would be appreicated. I ran 2 x 600 watt cheap led lights, which im 100% certain dimmed towards the last 3 weeks (the brightness dramatically reduced) making me think that a few leds burnt out throughout - I think moving forward i would look into better spec grow light. Found these girls very easy to grow, very forgiving for anything i done wrong being my first experience. The plants grew all different shapes and sizes I done some lst rather late into the grow which I think give some funky growth shapes, in the end all grew out with loads of bud locations all over. Really wish I had given more space for light penetration. I ran 6 fabric pots and 1 plastic, I felt the ladie in the plastic pot took off much quicker than the rest and on cutting down seemed to have the best root setup, anyone else have an opinion on what they find best? The smells and taste are very very fruity and cirtusy/lemon, smoke nice head high still curing will update with full smoke report in a week or so! Towards the last 3 weeks or so the smell from the plants was strong and very fruity, would reccomend a carbon filter if trying to stay down low. Used all my trim and alot of of the pop corn nugs for butter so nothing went to waste currently making a huge batch for some tastey treats. Would love another blast at growing these ladies, learnt alot throughout and will take the knowledge to future grows! Edit: I came home from work after making my weekly log entry yesterday and I could smell my grow from my driveway... so I asked for help. THANK YOU OOZLEFINCH FOR THE HELP.. THIS IS WHY WE ASK FOR HELP... I left a question on here stating that my new canister wasn't working and asked for generic advise. He left an answer that pointed out the fact that my exhaust fan might be set waaaay to high... and it was! It turns out there's a limit to the amount of air that filter fan 'scrub', and my exhaust fan goes way over that limit even on 6 or 7.. I turned it down to 3 and the smell got better immediately. ☮️ Still on auto pilot at this point... I'm really close to harvest.. and I'm not even on day 60 😲. I created videos this weeks, they capture the plants in ways that a still picture just won't. My entire house stinks.. my neighbors are looking at my funny, and my wife thinks a family of skunks is hiding in our walls... I've never had this problem.. I even got a brand new carbon air scrubber and its not helping 🤣 Process/ Environment changes since last week: - To help preserve the terpenes I've been trying to lower my temperature, which is hard without an AC unit I'm not plugging in an ac just to grow some plants. I'm at 24- 26 degrees C (75 - 82 F). - I've been lowering my humidity accordingly to keep VPD in a good range - I lowered my lights closer to my plants, turning them up would just add to the heat. - I'm defoliating as much large fan leaves off as possible - My watering pH is at around 6.7 to 6.8.. I will not be flushing these plants - I rotate my plants every day to make sure I'm getting light to hit every node it can This week I'm pulling out the digital scope and doing the first trichome checks for these babies. The cheese auto is going to get the chop by the end of next week.. I hope you like the video I added of it.. it's the easiest plant I've ever grown and she's going to be FIRE. The blackberry auto is giving off a gas/berry smell and is very sticky to the touch. A beautiful triploid... my first and I hope to get many more. The Forbidden Runtz smells just like a zkittles does, it's bang on. Very dense very sticky buds. I almost tossed her during the seedling stage too due to her mutation. Day 84 Cut and hanged to dry. Day 97 Trimmed and put in jars to cure.

Day 57: #1 has been successfully transplanted to a 10gal smartpot. We used ocean forest soil and happy frog mixed at a ratio of 1:3. It has higher p&K and were getting ready for flower Day 59: #2 is still in the 3gal pot of happy frog. She isn't showing any signs of nutrient deficiency or stress and because of size restrictions I think I'll leave her in this pot. Day 61: watered with real growers recharge today. 1st time watering since transplanting #1. And she seemed to be okay. We have decided to start watering every day and not for run off.i cant get a good routine and sometimes they get bone dry. So to avoid that we will water a couple cups every day and allow 36hrs of drought 1x a week. Day 63: Pulled the girls out for a photo OP tonight 😁 also we watered #2. Then we did a mild defoliation because the new optic 8+ arrived today!!! The entire tent is set for flower!! I will be starting flower tomorrow morning and also be taking clones from these girls as well so we can get some good info logged on how the Choc mint clones too! 2020-08-17 Beginning of Week 9 of flowering! Wow! The buds in the middle are getting super frosty now and I noticed that I had some colas that had dipped below the light canopy. They're now back up on top! I am still giving nutrients as I don't see many amber trichomes yet but I am going into the tent without the LEDs on to take some more updated pics. Don't wanna miss my window as I prefer to be stimulated instead of sedated by cannabis. Hoping this strain delivers. IF anyone wants to comment on the 'readiness' of my buds for flushing (or not flushing) please leave a comment or message me! 2020-08-23 Updated with this week's entire set of pics! Trying to take more with the lights off and just the flash to capture the trichomes. Looks like the sugar leaves have more amber trichomes. A Nice sweet smell !!!

I'm too inexperienced to say for sure but to me, the colas seem to be thickening. The harvest will probably be more than I can smoke. Quality? I don't know anything about the strain. With naked eye, I can't see the snow/sugar like I could on my previous grow. Perhaps it's the color? Lack of contrast? Everything has a yellowish hue? Trying to use a magnifier, trichomes seem abundant though. Hairs are still mostly yellow so I'm still going on the assumption that until the hairs darken, I don't have to worry about trichome color because it's not even close? Although the plants have probably grown better, produced more than the autos in my first grow, I'm getting impatient.
