Day 49-56 (Day 50) I hooked up my carbon filter to the humidity controller and it is keeping the room exactly at 65-70% RH night and day. It looks like it turns on about every 45 minutes for about 5 minutes so it allows me to run the co2 bag properly. I don’t even have to use my dehumidifier. The room is 100% dark now too. Even the small red lights on the space heaters. Not going to feed anything other than foliars this week. (Day 51) Blackberry #4 & #8 #9 and white widows #2 & #3 are all confirmed males. Chopped them down and recycled the soil. White widow #1 is the first official female and I’m starting to see pistils on the m39/zkittlez too. Plants seem to be responding to the light fairly well. It’s hung 32 inches above the canopy which is as high as it can go without strapping it to the roof, which may have to happen one day. The plant can get within 6 inches of the light so I’m probably good. The ppfd output is 1800umols which is super high so I want to hang them as high as possible in veg. I wish I could rent a ppfd meter to see if I’m in range at 32”. (Day 52) Blackberry breath #3 is the first official bbb female to show. I decided to scrap BCTG #2. It sounded like a good strain but after looking at pictures of people who have grown it online, it doesn’t look up to my standards. I found a very small patch of powdery mildew on one of the leaves so I’m not even going to start with that shit again. I’m really thinking about scrapping the m39/zkittlez and the white widow too. I’m praying that I get at least 4 females of BBB. I tried super cropping for the first time today. A few of the branches I definitely squished a bit too much as they turned quite brown and looked dead within a day. (Day 53) Despite the m39/zkittlez vigorous growth, I know it will be a shitty strain that will most likely herm as it’s from a bag seed of low grade weed. I’ve decided instead of scrapping it, I will use it for experimenting with a new chemical powdery mildew preventative. If it dies oh well. I doused it and chopped a limb off a few hours ago during lights on and it seems fine. (Day 54) I’m about 90% sure BBB 6&7 are both female. #2 & #5 are looking like males but too early too tell. #1 is really tough to say. Just gotta be patient I guess. #3 has a great spread out structure, I hope it doesn’t stretch too much. The scrogging is a priority. I put up the scrog net just to see how it fits. It’s a little small around the edges but that’s fine. So it’s looking like out the 9, I would be lucky to get 4 fems if #1 & 7 would show forsure already. If #1 is a female I have my 4 and I can throw out the white widow. The white widow is just insurance at this point. Super cropped plants have recovered nicely. Going to continue doing this more. I’ve noticed that the plants that were put into my custom soil mix have very small fan leaves compared to the fabric pots of straight promix and dry amendments. Could also be the fabric pot is helping dry downs too. (Day 56) I’m seeing some yellowing so I’m going to give a foliar spray just too keep some deficiencies at bay. All of the plants are stunted except the m39 and bbb#3. Node spacing has also reduced significantly. I can’t help but feel it’s from the intensity of my lights but maybe they just need a transplant into some new soil something. Luckily the stunt and droop is only really happening to what I suspect are male plants anyway. Leaves are looking twisted and gnarled on #5. Going to move it into the veg tent for a while. I’m going to mix up and amend my Destiny/coco blend today and transplant bbb#3 and 6 & 7 in a few days. I mixed them up in contractor bags making sure to toss and turn vigorously. Here is my blend: 2 bags 40L Destiny soil 2 bags 40L coco 700ml glacial rock dust 700ml oyster shell flour 700ml nature’s pride bloom 300ml basalt rock dust 150ml langbeinite 150ml nature’s pride veg I am also going to try the Destiny top dress as it’s only 13 bucks a bag and full of good shit. I’m trying to not feed heavy in flower other than 2 or 3 top dresses and 2 teas and nothing after week 5. Because it’s taken so long for the plants to show sex, when I transplant into the 10 gallon pots, they should have more than enough nutrients too keep them going strong all the way through flower with just water. I’m a little skeptical about that though. Besides teas and dressings are fun. Everything should be broken down by week 8 or so. Will transplant in a few days.

The transfer was a success! Went from a 5’ x 4’ Scrog to 8’ x 8’ and gave them a 40 Gal drink of water. Also was able to drop the taller ladies to have an even canopy.

Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. Hello and Welcome back 🌱 It‘s now 7 days ago since I put them in Water to Germinate and now it‘s their 5th day of growing. Yesterday, they got their first 4 hours of darkness and now i‘m slowly going down to 18/6 light schedule. I admit, the environment was sometimes very off due to experiments with VPD and leaf temperatur but I think I can dile it in correctly for this growing stage and beyond (hopefully). I was trying to see what happens if I stress them a little and hoped they would grow faster but they 100% didn‘t like it. They heat up pretty fast when the Air is too hot and dry because the roots are not developed and the plant is not established enough. An established plant can stay outside in the heat of the sun and still have cool leaves. So my environment for this stage is as above (27°C,70%RH). Light at 15000 Lux (≈370 ppfd) a little high but I‘ve noticed some stretching and I asumed they wanted more light and I really don’t want any more stretching. My media comes without nutriens so i feed little amounts of it every time they dry out enough. This is a Indica dominant strain so I asume they will stay fairly smal. Btw. If anybody wonders if CO2 bags work, check out the Video I uploaded. They are still seedlings (not really in Veg yet) and so i‘m treating them as such for the rest of the week. Root developement is now the top priority wich, if you didn‘t know, is better in a smal pot first because they are more likely to develope secondary roots but we’ll see. I heard It‘s like topping just underneath the plant. When they are ready to be transplanted I most likely will take the first three. Update: I did all the preperations for Transplant bc I was worried about root bound. I took Nr. 4 out and washed it as carefully as I could to expose the roots. Some of them got stuck on harder peaces of dirt and got ripped off. But it looks like alot of secondary roots developed instead of just one long taproot, wich is nice. I assume i can transplant them in the next few days. I rearanged the plants according to the Lux reading, wich is highest in the middle so the bigger plants (Nr.1 and Nr. 3) went to the sides. Maybe Nr.1 got the „smal“ genetics and it’s not anything environmental. thanks for following along this far and happy growing! Update: hey guys so yesterday I noticed, that the roots are coming out of the bottom. They were trying to get to the bottom of the three pots 😭 i had to do an emergency Transplant wich went very bad because they were stuck in the little pots. I don‘t think i‘m going to use these kind of pots anymore because they were not easy to get out. I even dropped Nr. 3 but luckily nothing bad happened. After the transplant both Nr. 1 and 2 were already ready to get more light. But Nr.3 was turning away from the light and the leaves were hanging down. So to lower the stress and encourage root groth I redusced the amount of light to a minimum and lowered the Temperature and highten the RH. This seemed to work well because the leaves were purking up again. The next day after 6-7 hours of darkness they are doing fine again but i‘m going to give them a little longer to establish themselves in the new pot. I changed the light schedule to 18/6 since I had to give them more darkness yesterday. I hope everything goes smothly from now on.

A week of fattening up here. The smell from this one is divine :) Really sweet. I am flushing this one with just water as i see a lot of amber on the trichomes and think its very close to the end.

Water the ladies with some PH 6.0 CALMAG 5ml/gal and a small shot of KING COLA and EMREALD GODDESS about 1ml/gal in between feedings. I am using a little heavier feeding this week than last weeks late flower per EH chart. I leaned into it a little more by 2ml extra per gallon I have not seen any nuite burn the whole time so I think they can handle an extra 250ppm its my last feeding I am hoping for some swell up on the colas, I know there is some sacrifice in yield with the 11/13 flower shedule but these bitches smell bad ass. I have to leave the fan and filter on all the time now as soon as I open the tent it wafts through the garage. If a bag of citrus fruit were to slapping sloppies with a brick of Blonde Lebanese is the only way I can describe it. I am going to feed this week and start flushing next week with PH 6 rainwater for the last two to three weeks. The hairs are starting to turn orange and trichomes are getting more cloudy. thanks for liking.

Hello! Thank you again for stopping in! Last week was a great and exciting week. I learned a lot to say the least. Biggest lesson LESS WATER!! Haha the plants seem to be growing slower than I expected, but that could just be me rushing things along. 😅 I also added a metal grid to half of the ceiling of tent this week. The panels were only $6 each at Menards and makes hanging and organizing all the needed equipment much easier and not to mention it brings a cleanliness to the work/grow area. I highly suggest them. Day 1 Feb 1st- no water Day 2 Feb 2nd- Watered as needed. Approximately 15ML/plant distilled water. Day 3 Feb 3rd- Watered each plant with 15ml Coconut water mixed at 50ml/gallon. 1 Tahoe OG is growing nicely while other one continues to yellow. Im lost for what to do to correct issue as both are in same environment? Day 4 Feb 4th- watered 20 ml per plant. Moved two more super skunk seedlings to tent. Ordered a humidity controller so I can keep a more consistent humidity. Day 5 Feb 5th- watered all plants with distilled water at a PH of 6.3. Flushed Tahoe OG #2... notnsure why it was yellowing when all other conditions are.same.and Tahoe OG #1 is flourishing.  Tahoe #1 60 ml Tahoe #2 flushed 150 ml SS #1  75 ml SS #2 60 ml SS #3 90 ml SS #4 75 ml SS #5 75 ml SS #6 50 ml SS #7 50 ml SS #8 20 ml Day 6 Feb 6th- no water today. SS #8 died. It honestly never really lived. It sprouted but no leaves ever opened. Added metal grating and humidity controller. The humidity controller is amazing.. well worth the $. It keeps my tent between 67-73 relative humidity. Will be able to dehumidify when the time comes as well. I like a clean tent as well as save. All electrical cords minus 1 are at the top of tent and the 1 is well above the water line. I know this isn't a huge deal as I self water, but better safe than sorry. Day 7 Feb 7th- all plants got 30 ml of coconut water and a healthy foliar spray of distilled water. I've seen some good growth this week and hope to see it continue through next week. I did have one SS seedling not make it this week and one Tahoe OG hasn't shown any growth and is completely yellow/golden brown. I still have it going but not sure what to do or if there is any hope. Hi Growmies, She has now completely stiffened and the buds start stretching along the colas. It’s still very hot here at times and temperatures climb towards 30 Celsius, hopefully that will fix itself with autumn around the corner, other than that I ordered a secret jardin temp controlled vent in order to get a bit more control of my tents temp. She already starts smelling very strong like oranges with some citrus subnotes. Will also add another fan next week to get some circulation under the screen. Week 15 days 99-105 . I'm am flushing all plants with 1 gallon of filtered water each. I've reduced the light cycle from 18 to 14 hours to reduce heat stress. It may reduce yield as well based on comments I've read in other growers diaries. An oz per plant would be nice. Of course more would be better but an oz makes a pound of cannabutter. Reducing the light hours is reducing the purpleness in the stems of og kush and gorilla glue but Purple chill still has purple stems The Natrona sisters spend their nights in the garage where the temps are 10-15 degrees cooler than in the day temps in the tent. Night temps ranged this week between 63-66 with rh 51-76%. The high rhythm comes after a rain. During the day, I'm keeping the tent open while circulating 2 fans. Day Temps can reach 80 so it gets hot in there. flooded each plant with 1 gal of water. From here forward I will be flushing all plants with filtered water at 1 gal for each plant every other day. Monday, flushed with 1 gal of water. Starting this flush, I added ice to the top of the soil before watering. See photo. This is a stress technique used to force plant phenotype colors. I don't think it will work for mine as I over fed. While I have 3 different strains, they look the same with blue green dominance. Thursday, flushed with 1 gal of water. See photo Sunday photos I'm not seeing any change in leaf or bud colorations from flushing out the fertilizers nor from the ice treatment. General comments" After putting the plants in the garage during the night, morning soil temperatures are within a degree of the night air temperature. This has been about 15 degrees cooler (50s) than the tent temperatures (75+). This week our weather has been unseasonably warm so the night temperatures have been 63-71 with Rh 51-70% Tent temps in the day 75-80 and RH 47-59%.
