Week 8 marked the final stretch of mid flower, and she’s really starting to show off. Buds continued stacking steadily across the canopy with thick white pistils and frost ramping up hard. Trichomes are now fully visible on the sugar leaves and showing the first signs of cloudiness. On Day 50, I watered with Cal-Mag (1 ml/gal) before heading out of town for a few days. She held up great while I was away — no droop or stress. On Day 56, I brewed and applied Compost Tea (Tea Party #4) as a full-strength drench and refilled the auto-watering base with the rest. I also refreshed the topsoil to maintain moisture contact. Some purple has started showing up on the buds, and the fade has officially begun on the lower fan leaves. No new training this week, just some tucking to keep bud sites exposed. The aroma is ramping up and she’s entering the home stretch with a strong structure and healthy energy heading into Week 9.

Germinated for 24 hours in a glass of water, 48 hours in a paper towel and then I planted them into biodegradable seedling pots. Northern Lights looking a bit ahead of the Dosidos seeds but that was expected I’ve grown Northern Lights before and they sprout real quick. One of the Dosidos’ first true leaves is looking a bit wonky but we’ll see how it goes I suppose.

Not much do do this week. Training is mostly done. Don't really have anything to trim as was doing it as I went along. Just need to keep an eye on her. She's starting to flower but it looks like dimming the light affected the stretch. Day 37 - some mild defoliation Day 39 - looks like she's done with her stretch but hopefully she'll grow a bit more.

There are some things that still amaze me, one of these is the huge autoflowering that I can do lately. Today I harvested the second Green Crack F1 Hybrid Automatic by Zamnesia. ** Remember that for all strains we have at least two plants, one left to grow straight and one worked with the techniques (go back in the week too see). Technique Used // In this case we let the plant grow straight and it seems to have worked great. I think thanks to the Plagron additives we had powerful and fast growth very voracious in everything in fact it was very difficult to keep it in balance and not send it into over. Better with the techniques or normal? This time I have no doubts, even if this wonderful one had the grace of a slightly less cold vegetative there is no comparison it is a marvel of nature queata without the use of techniques but with a wise cleaning at the bottom to have only flowers of great quality. Plants are 5 weeks old and I decided to switch to flowering for week 6. Plants are all in good shape and the screen is in place to train them to fill the tent. I will be changing out the veg bulb this week and installing the 1000w HPS bulb for flowering. I’m still playing with the light rail speeds and pause times but I seem to have it dialled in now I think. I will also be doing another water change and adding flower nutrients sometime this week. ****Added 7 gal of fresh water to the reservoir on day 38. Added full strength Remo lineup for flowering to the 7 gal added to reservoir. I started to tie down/tuck the larger branches to the net as well.
