Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Buds look ready although going to give an extra week as I prefer more amber, very solid and smell is incredible

Initially ran this plant as a way to get dial in my tent and setup while coming to grasp with tent growing in general. Since its an autoflower the growing was easy. However this is a very commercial seed bank and the quality you get is in line with that. Now i'm moving, getting a larger setup, and going to run more genetics. Zamnesia will not be a part of that.

13cm growth this week! Just over 5" Plant seems happy!

Que pasa familia. Noticias buenas y malas, de 3 ejemplares, uno nos salió hermafrodita. Empezó a formar plátanos esta semana y al estar tirándolos en ramas distintas, cortamos por lo sano y ADIÓS. Quedan 2 subimos cantidad de comida, pegaron buen estirón, y las flores están formando sin problema alguno. Dejo muchas imágenes y vídeos de esta semana, y ya deducen ustedes.

Average grow maintenance effort, slow growth, small canopy but not really any issues. I will update all the weights, taste and all that crap soon.

Week 6: Aroma, Buds, and Excitement! 🌿🌸💨 Hey there, fellow growers! It's time for an exhilarating update on my flourishing journey. We've officially reached week 6 of the flowering phase, and let me tell you, it's getting pretty amazing in my grow tent. Here's what's been happening: The aroma that fills the air when I open my tent is mind-blowing! It hits me right in the face with its funky skunkiness, and I can't help but smile. These ladies are developing some seriously potent terpenes, and I can't wait to savor the flavors when it's time to harvest. 🌿👃💨 Speaking of buds, they are looking absolutely stunning. The development is on point, and the density is increasing day by day. I find myself gazing at them with a sense of pride and excitement. These girls are going to be something special. 🌸🌿🌱💪 I'm thrilled to report that there are no signs of seed pods or hermaphroditism. The ladies are staying true to their femininity, focusing solely on producing those gorgeous, resinous flowers. It's a relief and a testament to the genetics and care they've received. 🚫⚡️ To ensure their continued growth, I've upped the watering to 5 liters every two days. These thirsty beauties need their hydration! Along with the increased watering, I've noticed some oranging on the tops and a touch of purpling on the leaves. It's a delightful display of colors that adds even more visual appeal to the grow tent. 🌿🍊💜 As for the nutrient solution, I've maintained a stable pH of 6.33, allowing for optimal nutrient uptake. The TDS level has remained between 1150 and 1250, providing the perfect balance of nutrients for the plants' needs. ⚖️📈 With everything going so well, I'm buzzing with excitement for what the next week of flowering will bring. Mm, i feel contant, they both look great in their late flowering. I feel minimum intervention on West Coast OG was better idea, cuz it looks to have more yeld. Californian Snow lost some time in recovery.

The girls are growing up and doing great, Pineapple and Cheese more than the others. I'm happy overall.

I don't know why she ain't flowering going to ask a few growers what's up

Week 6 of veg in the books and I’m rather disappointed with this strain overall. Recovery time on the topping was terrible (if they recovered at all), internodal spacing is extremely stretchy which isn’t at all lending to more pronounced side branching. On top of that they just aren’t growing quickly at all. The fan leaves are massive and the bud sites are very limited. None of them have even begun to show vegetative maturity. Well still take the run to flower but I don’t expect to take this batch of F1 seed any further with these types of characteristics. If the bud is anything short of straight 🔥, I’ll pitch the whole lot of seeds as simply unworthy. Oh well. It was still worth a shot… no deficiencies or issues - just a shitty genetic at this point.

Purified water and 1/16 of a scoop of great white mix well. 3 seedsman zkittles auto seeds in a piece of reverse rolled up 210 grit sand paper. Shook the beejezus out of it till my arm got tired to scour the shell a bit. Tossed it in the jar of tea. 24 hrs later she popped. I replanted in rapid rooter plugs on oct 6, and with in 1 day 1 plug popped, The next day the other and on the 11th I noticed the 3rds cotyledons we’re stuck in the plug. I helped her a little and by the 12 all 3 were ready to be planted in their final home, A 3 gal fabric pot filled with my mix of 1 bag ff ocean forest : 1 bag of ff light warrior. Each lady was 2” high with the first set of true leaves and nice little roots peaking through. I’m having an issue with my purified water taking 24 hrs sitting before I get a stable ph so when I measured the res water in my dome, what I thought was 5.5 now showed 8.0 😐. I fixed that and watered all 3 with the correct ph water.

Dec 23: Day 73 from seed. There is a lot to say about these girls, they have been a breeze from the start, 2 plants started producing pollen sacs early flower but I infer that was external, and they were eliminated. The flowers are beautiful and the product to description is very close. The smell is very close to freshly pressed rosin, very fruity and pungent; I see why this strain is a cup winner!

Day 57 - Starting week 9 and WOW, what a difference in week. I’m thinking this girl is gonna end up being a beast. She’s stretching about an inch every day and filling in more and more each day. I’m ready for the next few weeks of more of the same. Growing is still fairly new to me and I can’t be happier with the FastBud genetics and how this girl is looking so far. Will give her the next foxfarm trio feeding on Thursday. Day 58 - Not much to really update. She’s getting fatter and filling in everyday and getting pretty frosty. Will give her her next feed of foxfarm tomorrow. It amazes me, how much she fills in and fattens up each day. Day 59 - I’m still amazed by the growth everyday. She’s looking pretty amazing. Gave her the last week 9 foxfarm feeding and will give her straight water until the week 10. She’s still got a couple weeks to go but can’t wait for her to be finished. Day 60 - Looking great. She slowed down her drinking a bit so held off on watering her but will check her out tomorrow and see how thirsty she is. She’s defensively fattening up each day but still a couple weeks before I think about chopping. She’s got lots of growing time left. Day 61 - She’s really starting to smell the place up and it amazing. She was pretty thirsty, gave her a full gallon of pH’d water before she started any sort of runoff. All looking good and can’t wait for her to finish. Day 62 - Nearing the end of week 9 and really pleased with this girl. She’s really starting to fatten up and fill in. Still a couple weeks left but can’t wait to harvest and try this girl. Day 63 - Ending week 9 and looking sweet. She’s really starting to pack on some weight and filling in nicely. She’s definitely starting to get frosty and starting to smell really good.

Checkout my Instagram @smallbudz to see the Small budget grow setup for indoor use, low watt, low heat, low noise, step by step. 04/01/2020 - Did the last defoliation, removed about 1/4 of plant material. 06/01/2020 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.5PH water with 0,3ml Cal Mag (Atami) 0,25ml of Grow, 0,6ml of Bloom and 0,5ml Max, and 1ml of each: Heaven, Alga-mic and Vera, noticed some run off, I use about 1/3 of the nutrient dosage on the chart, to achieve about 200/300PPM (500 scale).
