Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥 We ran this one in an even parts soil, compost, coco and purlite mix. The hope was to minimize required nute feedings and maintenance. The addition of nute nuetral coco proved to be somewhat of a mistake and may have contributed to some unnecessary plant stress when she used up all the available natural nutes in the soil and compost. There simply wasn’t enough good stuff in the medium to see her happily through the cycle without extra supplementation. I’d do this again but leave out the coco and layer the compost at the bottom with minimal medium saturation and runoff in early/mid veg. This should achieve better results the next time round. She was entirely untrained and allowed to stretch to her highest height. A better yield definitely would’ve been derived with some topping/mainlining and training but regardless, her freak flag flew high and She went unnoticed by unwanted eyes. We won’t be able to grow high next year due to construction next door so this may be the last time I run a skyscraper outdoor in the rear yard. 1/5 volume emojis for method because there really wasn’t any training. 2/5 coconut emojis- not for the lack of training but due to the unsupportive medium amendments like the coco. Yield🌴🌴🌴 And now the part we all seem to measure with great expectation. The expectation in this case was to pull 9-12oz off this girl and we fell well short of that. For the reasons mentioned above as well as the fact that she was putting at least some of her efforts into seed production too. We spotted it pretty early on in flower and some stalks started showing signs of ball formation that every grower fears. I was really concerned she’d be a full on hermie but this didn’t happen and it seems it was just localized pollination. Probably due to an occasional, randy bumblebee that had come from elsewhere. It’s not all bad at all and we did pull a few seeds off of her that we’ll give a shot to in the future I think👍. Final yield - 7.18oz. I’m never going to complain about a quarter pound off a plant that needed almost no maintenance whatsoever👍. 3 palm tree emojis for not going full hermie and putting out enough of this magically intense bud to share with friends and family👍 Props As always, big shout-out thank you to GD for making this site accessible to us. She's growing, and repairing herself. Took 4-5 days to get back up after the topping. I usually like to do the transplanting n' topping ASAP. Started some defoliation, by removing the lowest grow. Everything seems OK. No heat problems or vent problems.. No nutriens used yet.

14 days, the girl looks great, a little wrinkled due to the humidity which is only 40-45%, but I don't know if all this will soon resolve itself, I just need to water it more often :) this week I'm changing the light to mars sp150 which will stay until the end of growth :) I'm giving the girl 6.3 ph water with 2 ml of heaven :) good luck to everyone.

Green House Feeded one is enjoying life and growing big health buds. She received her last lollipoping. Advanced Nutrients one is still struggling. I am increasing the feeding per Advanced Nutrients supports suggestion. Let’s hope she recovers.

The end of week 1 has arrived. We all know how it goes. Just playing the waiting game. At this stage these girls are just working on building their root system. The roots should be hitting the reservoir in the bottom of the buckets soon then they should take off. Got the water pumping and the lights beaming 24 hours a day. Running a low dose of maxigro. Keeping the ph around 6. Will probably be topping them around day 12. Would be amazing if I can get them ready to switch to flower at the end of week 3. But for now I'm just going to check on them 420 times a day hoping they don't die. Might be back next week if they are alive. Happy growing!

Moving along nicely. Plants are looking nice and healthy. No issues just trying to get a few more weeks in before harvest time. Weather will be in the 80s-90s this week

Day 28 week 4 of flower plants looking good I dropped a 3L water bottle on a string which snapped a whole branch from the bottom 😳 on right plant 😭

Everything going great. Smells like sour candies. Legit can smell the cantaloupe origins and it’s already getting blanketed in trichs. Can’t wait to see these girls get dense in the next few weeks.

Flowering Week 2 The bud development on this Strawberry Gorilla is seriously impressive. Flowers are forming all along the branches and are already starting to connect into continuous buds, even at this very early stage of flowering. The amount of productive growth across the entire plant looks extremely promising. I gave her another fairly aggressive defoliation this week to keep the dense structure open and improve light penetration and airflow. She is growing so vigorously that I’ll probably have to do another round of defoliation during the coming week. Other than that, there isn’t much left to do. The structure is established, the stretch is under control, and she looks very healthy. From here on, it’s mostly a waiting game and watching all those flower sites fill out.

What can I say. She stinks so good and looks even better in the flesh. Taking heavy feeds and lots of water. She is putting on weight now and the bids appear to be joining up. Cant wait to try this.

El día jueves 11/1/24 comenzamos a regar solo con agua. Esta planta se ha vuelto una bestia creadora de resina, ahora la mantendremos en este estado y quizás necesite ser alimentada alguna vez más 🤔 tengo ganas de cortarla, pero la dejaremos a a que madure un poco 😌 Los tricomas están 70% lechosos 20% transparentes y 10% ámbar.
