This week I made the decision to remove the ScrOG net because the plant has stunted growing and the leaves were droopy before and after watering . Given the fact she is an indica dominant strain, my approach to training wasn't the best. Also the light intensity has been adjusted to PPFD level of 700. The light schedule is 18/6, so the DLI is about 45, which is the recommended maximum for autoflowers. I will keep my eyes on her, how is she will react.

Did a reservoir change. Found a bunch of seeds at the top buds, did not find any nanners or balls, most likely somewhere hidden in the bud or non at all and still seeds. The other plant in the same tent does not have a single seed on it. Values are average of the day. It's exciting to start a new journey! I started by trying to germinate 2xF.Bs. Unfortunately only one made it, so I started one more and this third one made it at well 👌 This time I washed and buffered the coco with CalMag and mixed it with a good amount of Perlite for better drainage and aeration. This time around I’m challenging myself to get up to 200 likes, quite a high aim I know, let’s see if me and Fat Banana can make it. Had a couple of the stems which were almost drooping on the ground due to the weight of the buds, so decided to harvest those two branches today. Also, this week I did a bit more research on when to harvest. I had been waiting for the trichomes to begin to turn amber, but after reading this article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest, I decided to harvest when the trichomes were cloudy. Experts say that the amber trichomes give a more relaxing effect, but I was growing this plant for daytime use. Looked at it under my digital microscope and decided to pull the trigger on the whole plant. Plus, the neighbors were starting to notice the smell. Final height - 104" - 8 1/2 feet - 2.64 meters. Not good. Was concerned that someone would hop the fence and pilfer my plant. Harvested her at 35 weeks - 281 days. Grow diaries really needs to expand the weeks available for us outdoor growers. Started her indoors in Feb. Transplanted outside on April 7th.

Had to put another layer of netting for support.

Lots to improve on next time. My first yield with this was 3 oz from a partially sunny balcony. I got about 7.5-8oz dry this time. This was the only female of 3 seeds I got from last years out door. My buddy crossed one of the males with a very pretty purple lady (mendo) and the next round I’ll be showin ya that. Trimming this stuff was super easy, it’s very sticky but I found the trim to be quicker / easier than some of the stuff I’ve trimmed for friends. It’s day 15 after chop, I just got them into jars, starting to smell perrrrtttyyy good! Still not the right structure/density i hope to achieve someday but overall I was happy with the results. Have yet to test it out but will leave a review once it’s ready to sample . ✌️🌲

A couple more weeks to the finish line! The two Apollo in the back have really packed on weight, and the resin is getting frostier and spreading everywhere. The aroma on one of them is inexplicably identical to Nivea cream—no joke. Terpenes never cease to amaze me! The flowering expression on these F1 lines is a pleasure to watch, and there’s noticeably more phenotypic uniformity compared to three non-F1 seeds of the same type. The Milky Way in a 7-liter pot is the Cinderella of the trio—a small devotee in Apollo’s temple. Terpene-wise it’s less captivating, with little flame-shaped buds that are less plump and fleshy, but not at all lacking in potency. A tiny vaporized sample from the little one told me right away she’s not kidding—it sent me into orbit for an entire afternoon. I’m staying focused on low humidity

Placing a dehumidifier or humidifier in the grow box turned out to be ineffective when both devices have their own automated settings. For instance, a humidifier set to 55% humidity works within a ±5% range, meaning it waits until the humidity drops below 50% to turn on and runs until it hits 60%. Since its sensor refreshes every 30 seconds, it might show 54% one moment and jump to 61% the next—not exactly stable at 55%. The dehumidifier behaves similarly. To achieve more consistent results, it’s better to rely on a hygrometer inside the grow box and use “dumb” devices that simply turn on when powered. Connecting these devices to smart outlets provides more precise control. For manual control, I maintained around 55% humidity by turning the humidifier and exhaust fan on and off via phone. Most moisture and aroma are released during the first three days, then taper off. The common rule of “when thin branches snap, it’s dry” led me to overdry my buds. A more reliable method is to monitor the hygrometer. When humidity stabilizes after the initial rise, wait one more day and then jar the buds. Rehydrating Overdried Buds: Overdried buds can be revived with a small piece of mandarin (or orange) peel, about 2.5x2.5 cm. Thoroughly wash the peel (even sanitize it if needed), cut a square, and place it on top of the buds in the jar. In my experience, this brought the humidity from 46% to 62% within 4 hours. Afterward, burp the jars for 15 minutes and monitor the hygrometer. If the humidity drops below 55%, return the peel for a few more hours. Once stable at 60-62%, remove the peel and continue curing, burping the jars twice daily for 15 minutes. As for humidity packs like Integra Boost or Boveda, I used them because I had some lying around. These packs are designed for 12 grams of product, so they don’t make a big difference in larger jars. If you burp jars daily and gently rotate the buds, they’re not really necessary. Trimming and Results: After 7 days of drying, I decided to trim dry this time. It turned out to be somewhat more convenient—everything gets covered in resin anyway, but the remaining leaves easily fall off, speeding up the process. I went for a tight trim, removing as much as possible. During the process, I felt disappointed seeing how little remained on the branches. The buds turned out airy and small, and I started cursing American genetics halfway through the trim. However, when it came to weighing, the results were surprisingly decent. Considering the buds' poor appearance, they’re not going to impress anyone visually, so it might have been easier to shred everything and use it for extraction. I don’t have extraction equipment, so I’ll make cannabutter from the trim, and the buds can rest in jars for now. Takeaways: Use a proper hygrometer for humidity control, not built-in sensors on humidifiers or dehumidifiers. Overdried buds can be easily rehydrated with citrus peel. Daily burping and rotation are sufficient for curing without humidity packs. Dry trimming can be faster and more convenient but may highlight issues with bud density. Despite underwhelming appearance, high resin content makes the strain great for extraction.

This is my fav strain for now. I love the taste more than anything. Take a vape hit and exhale through the nose. Oh god, this is good. Despite the low light intensity, The BUDS ARE TIGHTER THAN THE FIST OF A FIGHTER.

5 weeks are

Drunken Bitch Slap has been growing great. She got her roots pruned today, along with 1st node removed, and topped under 4th node. She is growing great under the Hortibloom solux 350. This clone was randomly given to me and I had no setup! I immediately got her out of the growers pit into a 3L. This is going to be a simple Living Soil and Water only grow! Her roots outgrew the 3L and she began to crash as you’ll see from the pictures. This was easily remedied by increasing to a 5L.
