Bueno, esta fue la octava semana de floración. Desafortunadamente no pude sacar ninguna buena foto bien de cerca, pero la mayoría de todos los tricomas están bien blancos (o "lechosos"), pero casi ninguno color ámbar todavía. Para algunos, este seria un punto optimo de corte, pero a mi personalmente me gusta que tengan un 20%-30% de tricomas ámbar. Espero que para finales de la semana que viene pueda cosechar. Pero como ya sabemos, la ansiedad es nuestra peor enemiga cuando de cosechar se trata! Nada que cambiar respecto de la semana anterior, riego y medio ambiente similar. Esto es todo por ahora. Applied 1/3 gal Nutrients by hand on day 1 of week 5. I defoliated leaves and shoots on the second node to build my manifold. I will be keeping the 1st and 3rd nodes on each main creating 8 colas with less topping then traditional Main-Lining. I preformed the 2nd topping on day 2 of week 5( the plants now have 8 shoots each and I will eventually be applying LST to the new 8 shoots).I haven't had any more issues with the Blumats but I am still dialing them in...I'm starting to see the pros of having a digital irrigation system vs my analog, but this is what I have available at the moment plus it's nice not having another wire to plug in 😉 Applied 1/3 gal Nutrients by hand on day 3 of week 5. On day 4 of week 5 I defoliated large fan leaves on well developed shoots on node 1 of mains(will do the same to node 3 of mains when those shoots grow out from the last topping). Applied 1/3 gal Nutrients by hand on day 5 of week 5. It's day 6 week 5 and I'm starting to see some possible issues with over watering and over fertilizing. One of my plants leaves started to claw slightly no burnt tips but I can tell she is slightly unhappy. I will lower the nutrients while making sure when I fertilize I get more runoff. I also dialed back my Blumats so that they water less(I'm starting to see a little green algae forming on the surface of the Coco this tells me it is staying too moist).

These girls are LOOOOONGG! The stretch has been like no other I have ever seen! 2 of the plants are well over 2 ft. tall, one of which was already super cropped at the beginning of flower because it had a few mains a little higher than the rest on it. The other 2 aren't too far off though, they're right there with them. I've been out of space in my closet horizontally for about the last week or so, and was quickly running out of vertical space as well so I upgraded spaces to a new AC Infinity tent, 3' x 3' x 6', ANDDDDDD come to find out I'm rapidly approaching the ceiling of that already on day 1 in the tent! We're almost at 3 full weeks flowering (since light flip) so I'm hoping like hell this stretch is over or about there because if not, it's going to be a super long 6-7 weeks, smh 😳. 1/29 Week 5 Nothing but the kind of problems I asked for, some white tips that mean an increase of runoff is needed. Half expected to see this as I have been varying the amount as a learning experiment. Will up to 20% for a few days In addition will be reducing nuets slightly keeping cal-mag as is until reason to change presents itself. Will be kind of boring the next couple of weeks at least till they get into the big tent. 1/30 Aeryn now at 15 inches Runoff at 40% and nuets reduced to lower pot EC Ive tossed out my old bottle of Cal-Mag I think its turned on me as these white tips did not appear until it was folded into the feed. Just no way this dose of nuets is causing the tips to show burning. 2/1 Major defoliation last night at lights out. Removed perhaps 25-40% or leaf mass on all plants to allow them to stay in the tent another two weeks. It was time to learn the process anyway, took a compromise path to doing it, some recommended taking more some less, hey sounded good to me. Plants doing very well after defoliation except for those aggravating white tips, going to be reducing Cal-Mag again to 1ml/gal and keep CT at 5ml/gal taking C-M to zero based on what I see. 2/2 Dropped Cal-Mag from feed, want to see if that has anything to do with those white tips. Runoff is at 40-50% ppm out under 900 so dam if I know. Will continue to defoliate as we go when something pokes its head where it does not belong. Otherwise they are beautiful, good job so far Fast Buds. 👍 2/3 man they recover fast, removed a few fan leaves that poked their heads where they shouldnt. Add Si to feed tomorrow for stem strength Not comfortable leaving these in veg for two more weeks, just asking for problems. So... Plan for flowering: Flipping this weekend so new week will still be veg. Removing one plant from the Moya tent to the Flowering tent to relieve space pressure as both tents will be set to 12/12 and just flower them all. Should have space in Moya to cover the few days they are in there with just three plants, have a bout 18" of light hang to work with. Thinking of moving Aeryn as she is largest and most likely to cause issues. Just not sure what the stretch is going to be 😳 2/4 The white tips were absolutely caused by the Cal-Mag, considering the doses and PPM that is puzzling to say the least. Adding Si for a few feeds to get em ready for flowering as I have no idea how these are going to grow so heading off some potentials. Plants hit 20" over night still flipping in a few days

I think its going quite good with the purple punches, its week 5 already so we continue to provide some extra PK until the end of next week, the smell is great, very fruity 😁

I'm hoping that the weather outside improves soon enough so that I can relocate them to outside. Last night alone had tons of rain and temperatures as low as 8c. Really want to put them out there but it's starting to look like they well be staying in this tent. I'll have to rename this diary if that's the case lol Happy growing everyone.

K.onec 8 tydne. Pupeny jsou tvrdé jako kámen a pokryté silnou vrstvou trichomů. Samotné trichomy jsou tak 50/50 čiré/mléčné. Po otevření proniká silná sladko zemitá vůně do celého bytu. Dnes jsem udělal finální defoliaci, ostříhané listy měli tmavě zelenou některé až tmavě fialovou barvu, celkově se rostlina dobře pěstovala. Těším se na sklizen

Plant coming along nicely, gaining weight and getting denser along the tops, really doing well. Doesn’t seem to smelly yet which is a surprise as Mimosa usually has a strong distinctive smell but not the case with this so far, buds looking nice though plenty on them and really nice and frosty glows when the flash from camera is on it, still getting bigger and bigger can’t wait to see how it all finishes. Roughly 3 week to go now so will be starting to flush at end of this week

It's flower time!!! Really excited for this phase of the plant cycle, and love watching them develop. She's drinking more frequently right as I'm ready for s vacation! I setup s self watering drip system and the rest run was a success!! Beginning of week.. I raised the lights a little.. They are at 50% power at 18" (roughly) from the plants. The ladies are getting from 420 to 500 PPFD. Went ahead and fed them some extra FloraMicro this week.. I'm guessing they are just very hungry girls.. And I'm thinking the pH in the rootzone issue is not clearing up at all.. BUT.. It seems like no matter what pH I water them with.. The runoff ALWAYS comes out at 5.8 or 5.9 with the Mandarin Cookies and 5.8 or 5.7 with the ETHOS Cookies.. So if you want to reuse your coco coir.. Make sure to remove ALL the roots. The girls dont look too bad at all.. And that's why I'm guessing they just needed more nutes in the mix.. We shall see how this week goes! Mid week.. They are looking alot better! Mandarin Cookies is exploding woth growth.. ETHOS Cookies is growing slow but she is growing for sure.. I think I may need to remove a node or 2 on the ETHOS Cookies.. I could just leave it.. But the very top 2 are covering alot of tops.. I could make some clones from it.. Hmm.. All-in-all.. I'm happy with how these girls are growing for now tho.. This rootzone issue isnt going away.. But I think I found a way to make it work out.. I've been watering a little differently.. Here is a bit of an example: Day 1: Feed at 6.5 Day 3: Water at 6.4 Day 5: Feed at 6.3 Day 7: Water at 6.2 Day 9: Feed at 6.5 Day 11: Water at 6.4 Day 13: Feed at 6.3 Day 15: Water at 6.2 Etc... The runoff is staying above 5.5 each time.. But as I lower the pH, the runoff pH lowers as well (obviously).. So I think watering this way has helped keep these gorgeous ladies happy.. And theyare also very hungry.. I may have to start watering one plant every other day.. Water plant 1 tomo.. Water plant 2 the next day.. Then plant 1 the next day and then plant 2 the next day etc... 1 reason I want to start doing it that way is because I think the ETHOS Cookies isn't needing as much nutes as the Mandarin Cookies.. But they are looking great. Very happy and so are they! The heat has been insane lately.. So at the hottest part of the day I try to just turn the light down to 25% for 4 hours or so.. I hate having to do that.. But it's all I can do for now.. Or maybe change the light/dark hours.. Blah.. Whatever, they are happy! End of week.. I supercropped 2 branches.. They pretty much healed up and are already back to normal.. Like it didnt bring them down any lower at all lol.. It straightened back up and its as if nothing happened.. Just a big ass (MOOSE) knuckle lol.. But I stopped using the Kushie Kush and was just using the normal Gen Hydro FloraBloom in the mix. Will be upping the FloraGro next week! Wow.. Such hungry ladies! It's been so long since I've grown a bigger photo period.. I forgot how much they can take!.. On to the next!...

I have upped my nutes to 4ml/l but I am probably going to drop it back down again. I am going to ask for some advice on reddit. I really love the smell on this plant, when I open my windows the smell just streams inside 😋. It was a very rainy week so she had to be under a roof for a lot of the time. I also looked at her trichomes with a microscope lens and they look quite milky already, I am not very sure so I will check thoroughly again tomorrow.

hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

At about 9 weeks into flower the buds are still getting bigger and starting to foxtail at the top of the colas. Probably because its too close to the light even with the lst clips to try to manage size. The smell is amazing too, very pungent and lingers in your nose. It has a very unique aroma that's hard to describe but it definitely smells like a sweet dessert. Im adding this week late and just harvested it at about 10 weeks. I'll post the harvest when they're dried and trimmed. I also have a timelapse of the flower stage I'll share later.
