8/22/2021 - Did some mid-flower defoliation to increase airflow and to prevent mold and mildew. - Split the top right main from trying to train her down and spread out the canopy, supporting with tape and twist ties. 8/23/2021 - Top right main is still vigorous after split.

Last Sunday I increased the nutes so that the ppm was on the higher level (600-625) as the feeding schedule showed. Dec 9th I started to see some lime green (video) leaves on new growth. The ppm would go up mostly & down slightly, but the lime green spread & eventually turned yellow (last pic from today). I did a water change the other day & lowered the ppm/nutes to around 575-580 range. I've been reading around that this might be a sulfur deficiency? Some suggested adding Cal-mag. Today I added 2 ml more of Cal-mag & snipped some of the darker fan leaves that had some damage. I ordered epsom salt, waiting for it to arrive (tomorrow). Any other suggestions/diagnoses are welcomed! 😊

La dernière semaine des "La Rica auto CBD 1:1", que j'ai fait pousser dans le but de soigner ma maman qui souffre de douleur comme la sciatique et autres douleurs liés à sont âge... petite remarque au sujet de "La Rica" comme l'effet on pensent que: "l'effet d'entourage vas faire faire que le cbd vas anulle le high du thc je vais donc la récolté dès que je vois 1% de trichrome ambré pour voir si recolté que les trichrome son laiteux donc quand l'effet psychotrope est au plus haut je perdrai un peu sur le rendement mais j'aurai tenté ma chance, les deux autres plants je vais attendre qu'il y ai +/-20% de tri. ambré pour les passer 48h ds le noir avant (on est le mercredi 28/4 et j'ai mit la Rica #1 et le supercropped dans le noir total dans ma seconde box).. suite a l'harvest :) Le plants de wWidow #1 avait eu un départ très difficile (n'oublions pas que c'est ma première session de growing) et au final c'est ce plants qui fini avec le plus de buds et de trichrome j'en suis très fière. la seconde continue ca flo. de manière assez monstrueuse aussi l'apex ressemble plus a un ballon sauccisse diforme que à autres chose :) mais bien crousti-crémeuse de résine. La puple Queen n'as encore produit que très peux de trichrome jusqu'a maintenant certainement dû a une mauvaise gestion des engrais de ma part mais là je vois bien que le rincage que j'ai effectué il y a plus d'une semaine dessus et l'ajout il y a trois jours de biobizz BLOOM et de cannabio boost accelerator a relancer l'usine comme disent nos amis les américains. Suite au sujet de la Purple donc netre temps vus sont retard par rapport au calendrier de la fiche techniche qui parlait de 50j +/- je suis à 70 jours demain, j'ai donc décidé de la réengraisser une dernière fois avec du boost accelerator du CalMag agent de chez canna. Arrivé là je commence a mieux "lire" mes plants et ainsi pouvoir répondre correctement a leurs besoins j'suis assez impatient de remettre ça pour ne pas commettre les mêmes erreurs et arriver à un résultat encore mieux!

This grow is looking phenomenal. Can’t wait to wash for rosin! Freezing as of now update: test run of bubble this shit is fucing crazy gas. So pungent and full of flavor. Tried some wet Melt in the Puffco it hits like crazy. Great effects and gas flavor. Will be pressing asap update did a 2nd wash tonight of all the trim from plant 3. I’d say 600 wet grams. Yielded great and awesome color

Bueno familia ya finalizamos, estas red hot cookies son una cepa bestial. La verdad que el secado muy bien 7 días en Malla y a los botes, 45% humedad y 23 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado. 4 plantas que se cultivaron en un armario de 1.20 pero estos ejemplares solo ocuparon 80x80. Así que ya está cultivada esta gran variedad que es novedad este 2020, americana de la familia Cookies, la Tropicanna Cookies (Girl Scout Cookies x Tangie) con un porcentaje de thc entre los 17/25%, una bomba. Que decir de Agrobeta, lo peta 💪 en cuanto a nutrientes. Un saludo y buenos humos.

Day 29. Girls are happy as all should be, Strawberry Ice is toped, they got feed and all look very promising ! Last use of Root Juice, next week will delete it from records. Will introduce CalMag. Mars Hydro light performs well, girls sorted all step backs and now my friend has a week to do DIY scrog. Day 32. Strawberry Ice is huge ! All branches reach to top and proper bush is forming. Candy Kush is behind, but catching up, she was toped today. All stems got light supercroping, new shoots exposed to light, leaves tucked. Next weekend scrog should be installed i think and flower should begin too. Day 33. 10/11/2024 been struggling with keeping the soil from over drying and becoming hydro phobic. she's been root bound for so long, there's barely any soil for her to keep water in. i had to dig into the sides of the pot and break of roots and find the dry spots to keep her wet. 10/15 shes showing pistils.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. The tropicana cherry is a magnificent plant. Its stocky and stout with really great node space. I love how solid she is and i just see such a good foundation for stretch. A really explosive week of growth. I pushed PPFD up to 310umols. Dimmers are at 60% which is drawing 224w plus 18w of DRRB. I have alos started Emerson effect ... Another The Emerson effect is triggered by the simultaneous exposure of plants to light in the deep red and far-red spectra Deep Red 660 nm /Far-Red 700 nm . A bit of boring science that explains why you need both far red and deep red in order to trigger Emerson. The effect occurs because photosynthesis is driven by two distinct pigment systems working in series:Photosystem II (PSII): Absorbs energy most efficiently at shorter wavelengths (higher frequencies), like 680 nm (441 THz). Photosystem I (PSI): Absorbs energy most efficiently at longer wavelengths (lower frequencies), specifically 700 nm (428 THz). When you provide only the higher frequency (deep red), PSI becomes a bottleneck. When you provide only the lower frequency (far-red), PSII is not sufficiently excited to provide electrons. Providing both frequencies simultaneously allows both systems to work at peak efficiency, resulting in a rate of photosynthesis that is greater than the sum of the two lights used individually. To understand the Emerson Effect, think of photosynthesis not as a single engine, but as a two-stage assembly line. What is the Emerson Effect? Discovered by Robert Emerson in 1957, this phenomenon shows that plants perform photosynthesis much more efficiently when they are hit by two specific types of light at the same time: Deep Red (660 nm) and Far-Red (700+ nm). If you give a plant only Far-Red light, photosynthesis is very slow. If you give it only Deep Red, it's better but still limited. However, when you give it both at once, the total rate of photosynthesis is significantly higher than if you just added the two results together (1+1=3). What is Happening? (The "Assembly Line") Inside the plant's chloroplasts, there are two "workstations" called Photosystem II (PSII) and Photosystem I (PSI). They work in series, meaning the first one must pass "parts" to the second one. PSII (The First Station): This station is tuned to catch Deep Red light (660 nm). It harvests electrons from water. PSI (The Second Station): This station is tuned to catch Far-Red light (700 nm). It takes the electrons from the first station and uses them to create energy (ATP and NADPH). The Problem: If you only provide Deep Red light, the first station works fast, but the second station can't keep up because it isn't being "powered" efficiently by that specific frequency. This creates a traffic jam of electrons. The Solution: By adding Far-Red light, you power up the second station. It now "pulls" the electrons from the first station much faster, clearing the traffic jam and making the whole assembly line run at full speed. The Benefits for The Grow Because i am using the Biotabs water-only method, my plants already have a steady supply of organic nutrients. Implementing the Emerson Effect offers several distinct advantages: Increased Biomass: Because the "engine" is running faster, the plant produces more sugars and carbohydrates, leading to heavier fruits or flowers. Faster Finishing: Plants often reach maturity sooner because they have more surplus energy to complete their life cycle. Better Light Penetration: Far-Red light is very good at passing through the upper leaves. This "wakes up" the lower parts of the plant that would otherwise be shaded, allowing the whole plant to contribute to growth. Enhanced Secondary Metabolites: In many crops, this synergistic light can stimulate the production of terpenes and antioxidants, improving the "quality" (smell, taste, and potency) of the final harvest. The "Sunrise/Sunset" Trick I am using 4x Invisible sun Far red/Deep red bars,they use high-quality Samsung LH351H (660nm Deep Red) and specific Far-Red (730nm) diodes for 10–15 minutes at the start or end of the light cycle. This mimics the natural shift in light at sunrise and sunset, "waking up" the photosystems or signaling the plant to go into "sleep mode" faster, which can further optimize the flowering cycle. Enviromentally i am chasing a VPD of about 1,1kpa. My room seem to sit nicely at lights on at 24c with no real drama and a little help from a 220W greenhouse bar radiator. Its using abot 4kw/h a day atm because my room is attached to the side of my house and its been -5c.. I have had to add some humidity as its also very dry atm. Im aiming for RH of 65% with my 24c but it is more around the 62s.. VPD is crucial and is the focus for this grow for me. The autopots and Biotabs make it so easy ican really just focus on perfect enviroment. A VPD of 1.0–1.2 kPa provides enough "atmospheric pull" to move calcium and magnesium up from the roots, which is critical for the rapid cell division happening now.. Plants will be flipped on Saturday which is their week 5 as im a bit behind.. As this happens i will push PPFD upto 4-500umols. by week 2 of flower. Thats the plan anyway..
