420 Fastbuds Week 5 Gorilla Zkittlez Auto Weekly update on these 2 have been wonderful. They both are maturing amazing not showing any real signs of issues. The transition from veg to flower went about as smooth as one could hope for. I did decide to do another defoliation taking off the bigger fan leafs. Also I lollipoped them a bit taking off the first 2-3 nodes allowing more airflow to the topsoil while letting the plant focus more energy on the upper flower sites. Keeping up the same routine as far as light cycle, watering, and preventative maintenance. Happy Growing

Day 22 - Rolling into week 4 looking mean and green! 💪 I need to make a decision on what kind of training I want to dish out to this lady. She's growing a bit faster than her tent mates. Day 23 - Always experimenting - today I begin my first mainline! I've already built the foundation by allowing the plant to grow to 6 nodes, as recommended by the tutorial I followed by the brilliant Miss Nebula Haze @growweedeasy. My next step is documented here in a video, as I take my lush, happy, healthy plant, and give her the kind of haircut that makes you want to storm out of the salon without leaving a tip. 😂 I even managed to get in my signature branch snap early in the game - being held together now with duct tape. 🤦‍♀️ In all seriousness though, I'm thrilled to be trying this out, despite the agony of cutting down my plant to nothing but a stump and antennae. I've seen some great growers create some serious masterpieces using this method, and damn it my curiosity is taking control! Here's to learning something new! Day 27 - Came home from vacation to find that my plant had hulked through the duct tape that held her snapped branch together... I guess she's doing well. ☺️ Over the course of the past few days her branches have gotten notably thicker! 💪 Day 28 - Now that each new main stem has grown out, I removed all the growth tips from below the 3rd node on each side. I left the fan leaves in tact to give plant access to extra energy as she pushes through this intense training. I softened the branches with my fingers, very slowly, to tie down my new main stems horizontally across the net basket. I took a sterilized x-acto knife to then top each of my two main stems at the 3rd node on each side, leaving me with a beautifully symmetrical base to my masterpiece.

Hard Defoliation was done around day 30, as you can see. She had wide fans but underneath had grown her nodes enough to stand alone. Took about 25% of the Defoliation planned for the 3-4 Days. On Day 34, she's a fantastic grower. The biggest in the tent out of them all. I plan to Pre flower her by next week. And after pre flower her tops will be HST'ed and during the start of the flip. I'll take most of what I don't want or that doesn't look like it'll have heavy stigmata sites. (Stand alone bud sites will be removed). She just went through a hard defoliation of her many of her top fans throughout the week. I usually take up to 15-25% a day or until my fully planned defoliation is done 3-4 days. I'll give what's left time to catch up. Then remove those major fan leafs once they've produced a node that can grow on its own strenght without to much delay. So, all in all another week. Not the 2 months as planned in veg. But, I didn't expect such growth so fast. Not with this development anyways. She's a super pheno. Checked sites, no bracts, hairs have popped (meaning she's throwing out the hormone that is telling you, she's ready to flip when you are) 730nm will be used during the Fattening stage to enhance the DLI (lighting on my 1hr40mins) this will only be used for the fattening stage. Then UV-A will be used in ripening. 1hr a day in 2x30m windows and 1hr x2 after 5-6 days into ripening for the remaining of ripening up until the last 1-2 days when she'll be ran on a low ppfd (like a sunset) or ill put her to sleep and put in a 48hr dark rest. TBD Day 35 she's at to moving through this week great. Took a clone. Had to. All though I've not had a taste. If the bud is good. I'll be delighted to have this clone that will be well into veg by the time she's done. I've decided to put her into flower by day 40ish I'll LST her. Last defoliation of leafs were nodes have grown enough to push themselves. Its wasn't my plan. A 4-5 month grow. If I leave this girl for another 4 weeks in veg. She'll take over the whole tent. Veg stage week 5

Ya estamos en plena floración y con las luminarias a max potencia... Evidentemente el aire acondicionado también está trabajando durante la fase de encendido. Flowa-Bloom es la estrella de los nutrientes a incorporar, pero todos son importantes... Así que sigo la tabla de fertilización de JUJU Royal al pie de la letra. Eso si, primero humedezco bien el sustrato con agua, para aprovechar bien la solución con los nutrientes y que no filtre por las macetas textiles. Riego cada cuatro días.

Its been pretty smooth this week, only mistake was that the light was to close so I got lightburn and bleaching on 2 tops, lesson learned. The SF4000 is still put at 85% and im still slowly cutting down the nitrogen, im currently feeding 2:1:1 ratio of (4-18-38/magnesium sulphate/calcium nitrate)

Auto Opium is growing good. I lollipopped the canopy, and did some selective defoliation today I did a solution change on her about 4 days ago. Everything is looking on track. I am sure she will do some stretching this next week. Day 121 (Day 1st Week 19) and the lady's buds are very clearly packing on weight. She is ready ready for a PK boost again! But if I really have to tell my opinion, I think she doesn't need more P, she's growing very well. On the other hand, a boost won't hurt. It's a pity the high temperatures of summer, she may be really suffering the heat inside the grow room. Luckily prosilicate may help her (as it seems to be) helping on this heat issue. Of course everyday I inspect buds to put those approaching the lights farther. Led lights are too bright and may bleach the precious buds so proximity to lights is the real problem of this current grow. Day 124 (24/01/2020) Helaas i found an incipient spider mites infestation, this f*cking plague always makes its way into my grow. Because of spider mites I sotpped growing outside. Really, I do hat these nasty animals and I would eradicate forever if it was in my power. I found a few leaves with inequivocal symptoms of spider mite bites, and in the back of the leaves I saw eggs, nymphs and adult forms. I started treatment with neem oil 5 mL/L applied as soil drench. I'll repeat in 5 days. on the other hand it's fortunate that I have seen them and so I can start treatment soon before they take over the entire plant. 1/5 day for PK boost: 0.5 mL/L Prosilicate + 1mL/L CalMax + 0.6 g/L Bloom fertilizer + 0.2g/L Boost (inflow 530 ppm) pH 5.85 (run off 450 ppm) Day 125 High temperatures again, with the open tent temp is 29.4 ºC inside... Day 2/5 for PK Boost Day 126 (26 01 2020) PK Boost day 3/5 inflow 550 ppm, run off 530 pmm Day 127 (27/01/2020) PK boost dat 4/5, luckily it was a cooler day today , i kept the tento closed, and temperatures did not exceed 29 ºC which I consider "normal" for the summer (but I would like lower temps though)

Hi all, This week we have had a big defoliation and already the canopy is tightening up nicely. I have been running c02 intermittently on days when I can maintain a temp of 83 F . This run I'm dropping the EC Slightly and also adding a water only feed each week to prevent build up of nuits which seemed to happen on my last run about wk 4 into flowering . The Vivosuns Humidify also played its role this week but will be turned down each week to prevent any issues. Have a nice day.. Skully💀

Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations.
