Howdy growfessors! Another week has come and gone with the outdoors grow. The ladies took a bit of a beating from the tail end of tropical storm Ida. Going to build a partial greenhouse roof to help keep the rain off them, which will hopefully lower the chances for mould.

I managed to turn the negative heat temperature in to something positive by introducing co2 to the environment. As a result of the diy co2 method some of branches grew up by 1.5 inches in 2days! Will continue to utilise co2 in the box for now. I also had to adopt the defoliation method Way to many leaves could cause problems by raising the moisture level in the box. As a result of the defoliation a lot of light is reaching the bottom of the box. Which means I can grow other small plants in the box. I switched to bloom NPK ratios. Slowly introducing the raw mix. It’s doing fine and as allways no tip burns

beginning of second week of flowering. I have been underfeeding the sour diesel for a while now. I noticed when i measured ppm of the nutrient solution that i was feeding them. Will give 900 ppm next feed

Just finishing up strong waiting for it to ripen

My Rainbow Melon plant is an absolute beast! It's definitely tied for the biggest plant in the tent, and it's by far the smelliest. The aroma is so strong and sweet, it's incredible. I can't wait to see how this one turns out! Okay, This past week has been absolutely fantastic! The weather has been incredible, and I've been able to keep the windows open almost the entire time. My plants are thriving in the humidity, and the VPD has been perfect. Everything just feels so balanced and in check.

35 days! The plant finally started to stretch, relief! Was really worried I got a small plant again but am now at the end of week 5 thinking that it will go mid to big :) Tied the plant down multiple times this week and defoliated quite often, the plant did not seem to mind. A slight smell is coming. Marked this week as bloom because it is in early bloom. Increased light intensity and light cycle mid week, 18/6 - 20/4. Overall a very good week. Values are average of the day. Been a while since any updates here on growdiaries, but now im back! Gonna start keeping progress of my plants here again, so here is the info of this new diary: 11 straberry lemonades from Barneys farm 1 granddaddy purple from Blimburn seeds (freebie) i've been hunting for a special SBL pheno to keep as a mother. 3 of the them have the terp profile im looking for, i'll refeer to them as SBL 1, SBL 2, SBL 3. the other 8 SBLS are not what im looking for. The GDP is looking and smelling amazing too, one of the best looking plants i've ever grown. Plants with 34 days of flower - 31/08/24

Hey guys, Like I said last week, this week was another cold rainy week. Discoverd some budrot on my Shamans, but not mayor problems. Therefore I decided to Harvest my Shamans at the end of this week. Knowing that in the upcomming weeks it will get even more colder, more rain and more bud rot. Luckly I only gave them water and one time with Humic-Blast and enzym+. Thats not a proper flush but better then full nutrients in the soil/plant. If it wasn't for the colder climate, i would had let them flower for another 1 to 2 weeks because they really started to thicken and the flowers were swelling. But at the end i rather have smokable buds then budrot buds,,, Weather for the upcomming week is 70% to 92% rain with 11-14 degrees Celcius and at night even 7-9 celcius. So there is no point by risking all of my buds to rot, in hope for some swelling which may never come with this colds The Critical Kushes where in their 4th week of flowering, going into the 5th. I have no other choice to keep them at least for another 2-4 weeks, lets see how it goes. I don't mind spending nutrients on maybe a lost cost. SF1000 for veg and SE5000 for Flowering (10-20 days after Flowering started "when pre fower is over") Mis information across the board about set-up, methods and so on: So, I decided to go ahead and use 1 seed. After looking at her Height she's XXL. So, I've no doubts if I decide to do a Scrog, I'll just use 1 seed, fanning the phenos out. I'll start it more at the corner and bend it down across the pot and no defoliations will be done as I'll need all leafs to extend the nodes growth. I'm not 100% gone on doing a 50cm2 scrog. Taking up 1/4 of my tent isn't something I like doing while strain hunting. Coming off how the bud is then I'll possibly do a scrog. I've so many plants going this crop. I think doing a Scrog will take a lot of my attention away from my other girls. I'm using my 70cm2 to veg my autos and a few of my fems, giving me an extra .5m2 space. My SF1000 is back at it again. She's a fantastic light, I always get excellent young plants from this light. Its from their old led setup. It has a small touch of Far Red. Days since sprouted: 0-7 Seedling Days; Came up showing a yellow set of leafs. Meaning I put the seed to deep into the substrate. And it broke its shell long before popping its head above the sub. Growth is good. Hopefully coming into day 9 or 10 she should have left the seedling stage and into a veg phase. Nutrients/Substrate used. Royal mix from plagron will see her through at least 4 weeks. (Alga Grow will be introduced at the end of week 2, as it takes time for organic nutrients to kick in). Power Roots & Pure Zym will be used for the next few weeks in earnest help nutrient uptake via the nutrient rich soil. Bat Guano Soil from plagron will be added upon the flip, (again been fully organic it should take a few weeks to kick in), Nutrient feeds are once a week, topped up with water if and when needed. But as they're seedlings you really only need to give its 1st Feed and keep a high RH. I decided to use LST on Californian snow and no touchies ( maybe a little ) on West Coast OG. Californian Snow is bigger. They both look healthy but i am a bit worried about leaf colours ( is visible on videos), thinking of nutrient overdose.

Harvested and wet trimmed, better of the 2 plants imo but we shall see after drying. Dry weight after trim: 193 grams

One girl popped up…i await the other. My first time growing the Skunk Regular could be male…time will tell. I look forward to whatever nature provides as i collect the pollen also... Update 1 day after the other girl came up.

Not much for change this week. I think she is getting over the shock of the defoliation, lollipopping, and moving her back indoors all at the same time. As time is not of the essence, I'm only looking to get some good healthy buds from this plant. Also, she's my last grow for the year because it will be too cold to grow after this.
