Week 12 Update: The Oasis Project Deck Cultivation Garden Overview & Environmental Notes: We are officially cruising through late May on the Eastern Plains, and the deck setup is performing beautifully. The intense high-altitude sun is fueling some fantastic vegetative development. The custom dual-timer irrigation manifold and hand-drilled halo rings are dialed in perfectly, keeping the media consistently moist without oversaturating. The atmospheric action has been classic Colorado—watching some spectacular afternoon storm build-ups, localized rain shafts, and distant lightning patterns out across the plains while the garden stays secure. Plant Metrics & Development: The Durban Poison Quartet is absolutely thriving in their massive 25-gallon homes after their Mother's Day transplant. They are focusing heavily on structural branching and filling out their footprints. Low Stress Training (LST) and SCROG preparation are underway to keep the canopy flat, wide, and optimized for maximum light penetration. For a quick snapshot on DP 5, she is displaying strong, tight internodal spacing. The main canopy top is steadily established right at 17 inches, with the outermost fan leaves reaching eagerly up toward the 18-inch mark. Feeding & Maintenance: We are remaining strictly organic, running the FOOP nutrient line—including the Veg, Bloom, and Sweetener components—to feed the active microbes and keep the root zones robust. For training, we are continuing to adjust the bamboo stakes and tie-downs to spread the canopy. The goal is to maximize the horizontal surface area before they really explode later this summer. 2/2 We are about half way on the 2 biggest, 3 weeks on the SG, and about 6 weeks on the Blue cheese. Damn... You can see how much I lose on the bottom half, but like I said before. It will still be more than I can smoke. And I want to make sure it all gets enough light to ripen and allow plenty of airflow. The only issues in really having is the godberry seems to be yellow 8ng too soon, but I still think it's from the light stress early on. She also looks a bit like nute burn. Probably the fish emulsion I gave it 2 weeks ago when I misread the light stress. I always have at least one plant that goes yellow too soon. Living soil. More to come...

I sowed cantaloupe bag seeds directly to flower box drip irrigation.I transplanted my white widow seedling to flower box. So the new line up this run is cantaloupe, blueberry, Girl Scout cookies and white widow. Cantaloupe seeds sprouted and i will keep the most vigorous grower.bb is throwing pistils.GSC is producing first set of true leaves. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well

Still smelling great - and fruity! Sort of similar to Juicy Fruit, but a different flavor. Like if someone gave you a stick of gum, and it tasted familiar, but not like anything you've had before. Then, when they said it was some new flavor of Juicy Fruit, you'd go 'ahhhh!'

Flowering starts

My 3 Jack Herers' have started to pre-flower. Nutrients will be the transitional between veg and bloom . Lots of side branching on all the plants with Ellie may trailing behind

12/31: Two of them are doing well, but the 3rd is doomed I think. Glad I started an extra #11! Today was the first day in which I fed them some Big Bloom and Boomerang along with humic acid, pH'd to 6.1. 1/3: I've been letting them dry out a bit for the last two days. They've got roots coming out the bottoms now...I'll probably transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots tomorrow or the next day. I ordered a 4' 180w tube light with 578 LEDs..it has a 360 degree beam with 3000k and a bunch of 660nm. It's waterproof, so no worries about keeping it beneath my canopy to illuminate the lower branches and hopefully increase the density of those buds that never get much top-lighting. Today, I mounted my two new 24w UVA LED lights (395-405nm) to my frame. I'll run them 6 hours a day from the time I put the plants into my closet, until harvest. It is my understanding that exposure to UVA, particularly during the vegetative stage, triggers many different plant defense hormones, which speed growth and can increase heartiness to withstand constant exposure to UVB without suffering as much cellular damage as usual. I'm also ordering a 2' Solacure FlowerPower UVB (285nm-310nm) next week to use during flowering to stress the plants and increase trichome production. 1/4: I did a few foliar feedings with big bloom and fulvic acid today. 1/5: Weird...the one I thought would die, still hasn't. Her second set of leaves died, but the third is starting to grow? Transplanting day. I dusted their roots with magic dust and transplanted them into 5 gallon pots today. I had some excellent compost with biochar and myco that I mixed into their soil, too. I watered them in with about 2 quarts each of their first taste of full strength veg nutes, plus mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, beneficial bacteria, and humic acid, then I sprayed them with biotabs boomboom spray when finished. The were moved into the closet under the quantum boards, UVA's, and a pair of Miracle LED blue bulbs. I'll start adding far-red spectra to the equation in the next few days.

Seit drei Tagen bekommt sie nur Wasser, doch die Verfärbungen sind schon klar zu sehen. Die Stempel bewegen sich in die richtige Richtung, was deren Farbe betrifft. Da der Indica Anteil hier scheinbar höher ist, gehe ich von maximal 9 Wochen Blüte aus. Das heißt, ab heute zwei Wochen. Update 30.9. Die Blüten gehen von der Form her in eine gute Richtung. Die Trichome sind sehr weit. Wird auf jeden Fall ne knusprige Angelegenheit. Mein goldenes Stück 💩

Day 88 Had a big ec spike, yesterday i've noticed some burned tips and i found the solution at 3.5.. Nothing that a few days of only ro can't fix.

Day 63 This should be the last week in veg. It might be a partial week...I'll make the call in a few days. I'm excited to see these babes flower!!! Day 64: Last day of VEG! I set the timer to 12/12 and lower the lights to 18". These babes are ready to switch, based on my past experience. I hope they don't shoot too much in the next couple of weeks! Flower time is here at last! Day 65: I tore part of a main top branch today and immediately put clonex gel and used some clear packing tape to secure it back together. I think it will be ok. I sure hope so! It's pretty much the biggest top of the plant. I don't know if the potassium silicate treatment is making the stalks too strong, but I only tried to tuck it into the next hole of the screen. Oh well, time will tell. Fed transistion week 1 nutes today. Day 67: The branch survived! The plants are stretching nicely and I expect to run out of room on the screen at the outer edges. Day 69: The canopy is so FULL! I'm amazed at how healthy they are and how many bud sites are filling up the screen!

As we saw in earlier weeks, I'm trying to balance them out, something is bothering them. But seeing the results so far it could only be 2 or 3 things: 1/ the left plant (XL runt) is closer to intake of cooler / fresh air. 2/ That one is in a bigger pot 3/ buffering with super soil works better in a larger pot. So next time I will use: better ventilation, also horizontal circular, using bigger pots, also put back in the hydro corn, which I didn't this time, God knows why... Ah I know, cause I was stoned probably... Fr autos I will also use a little fewer amendments in the coming grow. It's just a learning curve with my setup and having never grown auto's indoors. Also with these Forbidden Runtz, I'm happy with what they are doing still with me messing up a bit. Still, it is a tent full of weed. See you next week!! Week 9...I have 2 other plants growing in the tent with these 2 plants and they aren't autos so I had to switch the lighting schedule over to 12/12 for those plants...I haven't seen any affects of the light change for these 2 plants...They smell great I am hoping they will be ready to go in about 3 weeks!
