My tallest plant has some really thick dense white pistols. She's still growing. But slowing down now. My other plant is still slow to flower. May be due to the cat eating half the plant in week one of flowering.

It will supply a good oz of buds for about a week or so. It wasn't a huge investment. I just sorta wanted to use the beans along side my flowering plants.

Day 84 - June 25 June 25 - 09.30AM Trichomes still not ready at 50/50 milky to cloudy. Soil is still moist. Will water either late this evening or tomorrow morning. I suspect this will be the second or last watering before chop. June 25 - 09.00PM Removed a dead leaf - I want to remove some of the dying leaves on the colas, as underside of plant has a beautiful purple hue to the leaves. June 26 - 08.45AM Trichomes are starting to turn milky, with 60/40 milky to cloudy ratio. Will water this evening as pot is getting lighter + soil isn't as moist. June 26 - 01.20PM Purple is here. I think it's time to chop tomorrow as I'm seeing more ambers. I'm noticing some bright green growth which I hope isn't the start of nanners. June 26 - 01.20PM Watered 3L. Chop tomorrow. June 27 - 00.00AM CHOPPED (Day 86). . June 27 - 00.00AM Inspected detached calyx with strange (I suspect pistil) growth. Many amber trichomes found. Strange, given colas I inspected were all cloudy with no amber, but this calyx (located at centre of plant) had plenty of amber trichomes. Perhaps this is due to recieving a higher than expected DLI at hotspot of light. . June 27 - 00.00AM Underside of Buds are underdeveloped in comparison - easily due to light blockage. I aimed not to defoliate as she entered flower, but perhaps with better LST and leaf tucking I could've produced more even yield. . June 27 - 00.00AM Trimmed Fan leaves and mostly necrotic foliage - want to avoid bud-rot at all costs, but I may have over-defoliated. . June 27 - 00.00AM Drying hanging upside down with oscilating fan above (2/10) and one beneath driving air toward a wall of the tent. There's also an extraction fan at the top of the tent. . July 2 - 10.00AM Rough Trim, and placed into cure jars. 58% RH and 60% RH Probably should have harvested last night. Will maintain RH in jars via burping. Roughly 2oz (56g) of bud harvested.

Hola compañeros! Ya estamos por aquí de nuevo. Vamos progresando ese cultivito multicepas. Estamos entre la semana 2 y la 4 de vegetativo en el conjunto de cepas. Tenemos otras creciendo en el mismo armario para ahorrar energía.. pero en breves trasplantamos y quedaremos las 9 cepas definitivas que van a florecer. Aunque aun les daremos algo más de crecimiento al conjunto. En cuanto a la alimentación seguimos con la gama de abonos de @GreenBuzzNutrients, con la cual estamos súper contentos! Estos productos orgánicos de origen vegano son idóneos para cultivar unas plantas eco. Tenemos la luminaria Fc3000 marshydro al 30% a unos 70 cm de distancia de las plantas. 🌱 Grow Journal – Week 8 This week, the plant kept growing steadily and looks healthy overall. She gained almost 8 centimeters in just seven days—that’s more than a centimeter per day, which is a great sign of strong development. I’m planning to work on her structure a little: probably a topping in the coming days, along with a light defoliation. The goal is to open up the canopy, improve airflow, and make sure the light is distributed more evenly, while guiding her growth in a balanced way. The main challenge this week has been the pH. This morning, the reservoir measured 4.8 while the tray was at 5.2, a 0.4 difference. I honestly don’t understand why the drop was so sharp. I had added Athena Balance, which should stabilize the nutrient solution. The only explanation I can see is the heat—we hit almost 31°C this weekend, and I suspect the nutrient solution was heavily affected by the temperature rise. If anyone reading this journal has insights on why this happens, I’d be glad to hear them. It’s a bit frustrating, because Autopots are supposed to make things simple. But in reality, I still need to monitor closely, especially since the coco buffer doesn’t seem to be doing its job properly—or maybe the reservoir just dropped too low and threw everything off. Either way, I’ll stay vigilant. Hopefully, with summer ending and temperatures cooling down, the solution will stabilize and the pH won’t swing so much. On the positive side, I’m still really happy with Athena nutrients. The solution stays crystal clean, no buildup, no deposits, and that makes things a lot easier to manage. So overall: strong growth, healthy plant, but pH management continues to be the main challenge. Let’s see how things evolve next week.

2cm vertical growth this week.

Nothing new to report really, other than that they are thriving. The heads are getting bigger and bigger and the branches are filling up with flowers. I'm going to keep the fertilizer steady at this level for this week and see them grow each day. Really a lovely process to watch this plant grow.

5/3 - topped between 5th and 6th node, removed first node, pinned branches out flat, removed 2 big fan leaves blocking the lower branches, watered and fed, gave a bit over one quart. She's showing pistils already! 5/5 - repositioned the training wires and removed the top 2 large fan leaves. One of the lower branches reached the side of the container, so I topped it there.

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Smell is so nice now, skunky with almost a sweet spice in the mix. I started bagging them at 7pm on July 19th. After 8-10days flower was showing. Idk, I'm actually happy with my slow going process. I mean these girls were started around the very end of March indoors. Now, almost mid August I'm just a little over a week into flower. Slow process people. Gunna be worth the wait though 😏 All in all, I'd say if you live in Zone 3b, growing pure Sativa outdoors is not the most optimal choice. It can be done successfully though with a little extra care and attention paid.

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Fellow growers, Back for the weekly update. This girl starts smelling just yummy. Nice scents of wood/pine, cheese and citrus, at least to my nostrils :) Steady fattening no more growth, amber/milky on the sugar leaves but clear/milky on the buds/calyx. At least 10-14 more days is my guess. Exciting :) Very thirsty last days, I will stop feeding in 5-7 days. It's been all organic feeding so no need for extreme flushing.

And here we are at week seven. This girl keeps growing despite all kinds of problems. Midweek, my Mars Hydro Ts1000 broke, so I quickly replaced it with an old lamp I had, waiting for a new transformer to be delivered. The smell is truly incredible. This week she drank 2 liters of water with nutrients and I added some Overdrive. See you next week!
