Wow this week was nerve-wracking. Her roots were well into the toilet part of the pot so it was time to remove all the soil and manipulate the roots for exposure later during the big reveal. Fingers crossed the makes it. Her being an auto it will stress her into flower but that's okay it's a cannabonsai they are supposed to be small. She still has a couple weeks of growth still so it will be just fine. The other plants in the shed are getting flipped to flower this weekend she I've put her in the tent with her sisters. Sorry about the blurple but hey.....it is what it is right?

Week 8 : This week have about 70%milky trichomes 10% clear and 20%amber I think they may be nearly ready :) not sure if to give one more week or start flush this week

Weekly Update on the Runtz 🌱 Hey everyone! Just wanted to share how the Runtz is coming along. She's thriving under the care of the Plagron nutrients 🌿, reacting beautifully to every feed. The buds are fattening and getting covered with trichomes very well, most of them are healthy and flowering at the same stage, orange pistols are already popping out, thinking about harvesting in a week or some.

This week she was transplanted into her forever home. A 38 litre airpot. The timelapse is the whole week except a few hours when I was repotting. When I repotted her, I buried her deeper than normal because she stretched so much!!! She was a lot taller than the other 3 girls.

Not much to report really, everything is in order and on track✅ The tallest plant has grown 16cm end of week 2 so 1 last week of potential stretch at that rate or hopefully less and it should all remain manageable 🤞 Facing some heat issues but it doesn't seem to be stressing my ladies they are loving life right now 🌞 Its been 25celcius here last few days and that translated to 28celcius in the tent🌡️ Gonna steal a few leaves here and there this week but nothing major, I'm happy enough with the canopy and its bud-sites 👌 Buds are developing nicely, hopefully I'll still get some dense nugs even though they are only wearing 6L shoes 👠 In the end though my main goal is clean and tasty smoke and ive been getting some nice fruity smells from the stem rub, especially the Zorro x Zkittlez #1 I'm getting a lot of lemon and lime from her 🍋🍇⛽ As for clean that's on me, in the great debate of flushing I'm all for it. I get that true organics is a different story but in coco which is what I'm using I notice the difference 🥥 I use bottled nutes which aim to be as close to organic as you can get in a bottle, Cellmax Bio always give me nice flavour and I'm just testing Buddha's Tree Organicus now alongside Cellmax Additives but I still always flush 🌊 Well that's all folks 🐰 Thanks for tuning in🙏 One Love💚 Fire Farmer🔥👨‍🌾

It is day 27 and Most plants starting to flower so they are getting a mix of grow nutes and bloom nutes All looking really healthy and seem to be thriving and certainly drinking a lot more . Some side branches have been strategically trained to try and make most of space and improve yield Day 28 given water will continue with grow and bloom nutes as still getting vertical growth which I am glad to see 👌

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. Although the seed description said 10 to 11 weeks, I going to cut these girls down at 10 weeks. I need the room to grow and flower some Mac and Crack that's already growing.. Getting close to harvest I'll start flushing, But I'll give them 1 more feeding and then nothing but water till the end. I get much better taste and the buds smoke better if I flush and get the chemicals out of the soil before harvest. Well, that's the end of the Freak Bros. book # 10... I think there are 3 or 4 more books left in that series. I'll show them in future diaries. My other diaries have the old underground comic book, Weirdo by Robert Crumb if you want to check them out to see. The buds are really getting solid now and some are getting heavy and heading for the floor. Good times... Getting some great smells now. Musk is the most common. But some, smell of Citrus with Musk under tones. The smell is overpowering my carbon filter. I can smell these plants out by the street if the wind is blowing that way. Pure Lemon Skunk smell by the street. Nice. Getting near the end of their lives now and there are more yellow leaves as the plants pull what they need from the big fan leaves before turning the leaves brown. Some plants have sticky resin and some have slippery resin. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 97grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! 🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.
