Sun Dec 27 Witnessing a true Stretch heading into week 2 of flower. Hoping to keep Veg Nutrients high this week, and be prepared to switch/transition into the Flowering formulas at the sight of “Hairs” being formed on bud sites. -switched the direction of my light, to make the most efficient use of the light hood itself. Sticking with the diagonal set-up in the tent. Mon; chemistry is listed above ***plant was originally super-cropped between the 3rd & 4th node, there’s not much room underneath*** 4th / 5th node might be worth considering next time. - soil / sand-coating seems really dry. This 2nd week will see feeding every other day. Nutes will remain as is Until there’s changes ** Uv-B was brought to my attention a few weeks ago, (thx DoDrugs420) and I am going to run a side by side test on it. Later this week I plan to install a 18” uv-b tube above one of the two plants, for the duration of Flower. *** Working with stakes again is kinda fun. But I also remember nearly poking my eye out several times with them. Safety glasses and Marking the Ends of the Stakes is a really good method of preventing accidents *** Wed Dec 30th - Food includes Unsulphured Molasses tonight. Still including it every third watering/feeding -Going to wait one more feed before adding some bloom nutes. Crazy growth and activity at the bud sites. And no groups of gangly hairs Thurs Dec 31st “happy new year all !” Next feed will feature half Bloom half Veg nutes and will be on Jan 2nd -Uv-B bulb installed ~ 14” from angled canopy... -running it on a reduced schedule right now. 2 x 3 hours per nite till I get to see how the leaves like it Recommended **12 hr CMH / LED etc. = 8 hr Uv-B** - Uv-B Bulb found at a Pet Store ~ $34 cdn and a simple black light fixture ~ $33 got it up and running. Tonight the first Bloom food will be given and the transition will be over 3 feeds. 1/3, 2/3 and full bloom recommendation. (Opposite with Medi-One) 2/3, 1/3, 0 -plants had many branches that needed to be repositioned and LST applied. Canopy was releveled. Cleaned out some useless leaves from the undercarriage -what a great way to start the new year. Having a tremendous grow... -going to slowly start pulling back on the Rapid Start, now that we are entering true flower stage. (4ml/gal down to 1.0-1.5ml/g by the end of week 6) Same goes for CaliMagic. I’ve taken it higher than previously, (5ml vs 2ml ) and the results are obvious. Time to let these numbers drop a bit, make room for Bloom.

12/24/18 Decided to make bubble hash with the trim and small buds from all 4 plants. The bubble hash is now drying. This plant has been a dream to grow. No problems from her at all. I even found a couple keeper phenos as well. The black magic soil and fertilizer, along with the aerated nutrient teas that these ladies were feed worked to perfection. All organic living soil is the way to go! Im not finished yet. I will update this diary soon with dry weight and a smoke report once the ladies are done drying.00000

Beginning of week 8 of flower. This week I tossed a different light into the tent to be able to see what it really looks like. I think she’s looking really good. Today I gave her the last feeding before harvest. Regular water from here on out. The plant doesn’t seem to be doing anything at all. I don’t notice much difference, but I am looking at it each day, so it will be harder for me to notice. I'm receiving a dehumidifier today. This will help me really control the humidity in here.

Our fearless Tangie had outgrown her previous home, so we bravely transferred her to a spacious 25-liter fabric pot. With the assistance of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix, we ensured a smooth transition, providing her with beneficial mycorrhizal fungi. These underground helpers are like her very own ninja squad, supporting her root system and establishing a strong foundation. To continue supporting her growth and development, we incorporated the incredible Aptus All-in-One Pellets into the soil. These pellets act as potent ninja power capsules, packed with essential nutrients. Each watering session delivers the perfect dose of nourishment, fueling our Tangie's journey to greatness. She's thriving with optimal health and vitality. And let's not forget our loyal companions, the trusty Lego Ninja buddies. This setup resembles a challenging ninja obstacle course, encouraging her to grow horizontally and maximize her bud production. It's truly remarkable to witness her impressive moves as she gracefully and sexily fills up the space. Of course, proper nutrition remains crucial for our Tangie's ninja training. Instead of using Aptus Holland Veg Watering Mix and All-in-One Liquid separately, we have now transitioned to solely relying on the pellets. These convenient premixed pellets integrated into the soil eliminate the need for additional liquid NPK. This simplification allows us to focus on other essential aspects of her training. To ensure she remains pest-free, we have been diligently conducting leaf picking sessions, which also serve as an opportunity to check for any unwanted visitors. So far, our Tangie has passed with flying colors, and her vibrant 9-fingered leaves are a fantastic sign of her overall health. Qué largo se me está haciendo.. Pensaba dejarlas ya 3 días desde hoy a oscuras y posteriormente cortar, pero siendo sensato las dejaré otra semana más para que terminen de madurar los cogollos de abajo. Claramente dejé de abonar demasiado pronto, podría haber dado 1 o 2 riegos más tranquilamente, pero bueno una cosa más que aprendo para las próximas. Van a estar 3 semanas sin abonar😅 aunque no han mostrado muchos síntomas de deficiencias

Chopped on day 98 Produced 27.3 grams (0.98 ounces) of very compact and moderately dense nugs. Very frosty and very pungent. Very simple trimming with the bud structure compared to other strains. It reminds me a bit of their Opium strain (obviously this is their black opium strain so I'm sure it shares a parent), as well as their rapier strain. I've smoked all 3 and they all have a similar scent and taste. I do enjoy it. I've only tested one nug, and will of course update the review once they have cured for about 50 or so days.

Things have really begun to take off now. The two toofless aliens are pushing 2 foot tall and have begun their apical cola growth. Side branches are starting to catch up with the tops and flowering mode is in full effect. The two alien vs triangle, one shorter and bushier the other taller bud still wide, have almost begun apical cola blossom and sitting around a foot and foot and a half. Excited to see their progress over this next week as they begin blooming more heavily. Have added snow storm and carbo load to my arsenal and the combo alone in a airated tank will produce bacterial growth with a clear tea brew! Love it, will use this for pre flush watering from now on with a little molasses i can tell it will work wonders!

Things have kinda been on cruise control pulled maybe 3 dead leaves. No major issues this week. One more week of nutes then I’m giving her a flush.

VPD: not checking - humidity set to 40% Feed schedule: feed schedule once a week, 1/4 gallon water per plant daily - FPE added at 2oz per gallon every third day IPM: visual inspection only Notes: Final push, fading occurring on all plants now and some amber starting to show during trichome inspection. Cookies & Berries taking the most time of the group to finish while Mango Sky crossed the finish line first. All four plants will be chopped next week on the morning after the full moon, April 24th - according to the moon gardening calendar it is "best time to pick medicinal herbs and plants, while flowers if cut during this time have an intense scent and endure longer." They're close to finished in my book so it can't hurt to follow the lunar suggestion.

Well it's finally time to cut her down. It's day 95 post germination for this lady, and she's at maximum potency. All trichomes are cloudy with about 5-10% amber & she's giving out a mixed palet of aromas. I can smell a very distinct mix of lemon, urea, skunk, and spice. It was relatively easy plant to grow. I started in a super soul which ran out of nutrients early and I had to supplement with bottled nutrients. Going forward I'm going to have to put more thought into my initial soil composition. Please note: I'm only estimating the 'Wet Bud Weight'; for the purposes of this diary I estimated 12-16 ounces. Cannabis can loose up to 75% of its mass during the drying phase and based on past experience, I am expecting 4-6 ounces of finished flower. Dry/cure process: 1. Cut entire plant down by main stock 2 hang upside down in a dark room with controlled humidty and temps.... - Temperature should range from 67-72 °F, and my humidity will range between 57-60%. 3. Full trim complete after 8-11 days of drying. 4. Stick in Mason jars indefinitely with 2-way Boveda humidty packs (62%). 4-20. I had been feeding with a diluted solution and now after flushing with water last week I'm moving up to full strength. The pistils of the plants on the ends seem healthier. The smaller plants in the middle seem a little more scraggly. I'm making full use of the SCROG net. I also raised the light an inch or so and put it back to 100% from 75%. I'm going to see if I can keep it closer to 100 if I can balance the intake air temp. Some of the leaves are damaged. I have a feeling it's from the cold nighttime air coming in the intake. I'm going to keep the intake fan off at night while it's this cold and damp outside. Hopefully not too much smell escapes. Maybe I should seal it at night. Getting sticky now!

A great week. Healthy and strong. So I chopped her up. Loved my last go at mainlining so I figure this is the way. The 2 branches to crack a bit at the knuckle but she should be good I'll just have to support her more down the road.

Week 8 Water only at 800ml lowering the lights on temps to 22c (70f) let see if we can get the purple senescence this 5g has been threatening and we know the Velvet Octane will finish with. Every girl is finishing nicely, FROSTY AF, and the smells are fantastic and sweet and slap you in the face the moment you open the tent. These girls are just getting photogenic so more to come next week.

This beautiful lady is getting huge and those nuggets are so dense they are so Frosty she is going to provide some wonderful rosin yeah yeah she's almost ready maybe two more weeks
