Good but Never again !

Day 1 - 03/31/2022 Hello, World! 34th Street AK-47 Autoflower from OCS.ca germinated in 1 day after placing seeds in the freezer over night before planting. This was my 3rd attempt and the freezing method seemed to have done the trick! Sprouted on day 4. I placed the seed in the Aerogarden sponge pod and didn’t press it down too much. When the tap root started, it had nothing to grip onto, so I solved this by cutting a small portion of another sponge and placed it above the seed securing it in place with a loose “lid” on top so the sprout could easily push through. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 3 - 04/02/2022 Hygrometer is in. Was drier than a popcorns fart in the closet so I got the humidifier going and it’s looking good. Went from 22% to 38% humidity in ~1 hour. pH, water temp and EC/PPM all seemed high so I added ~0.5 mL of pH Down that brought the levels to 5.4 (too low). I added ~2 cups of Brita filtered water (water was getting low anyway) before I went to bed from the fridge that helped raise the pH, lower the EC/PPM, and the temp by a few degrees as well. In an attempt to cool the water down a bit over night, I took the “cap” off of the Aerogarden reservoir to let the water ‘breath’ while the light was off between 2 am and 6 am – that did not work... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 4 - 04/03/2022 Water temp remains high at around 28 c. I replaced about 1/3 of the tank with new water and added ~1ml of Miracle Grow. Didn't effect the water temp at all. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 6 - 04/05/2022 Levels appear the same. Tomorrow I’ll change the water out and start adding FloraMicro, FloraGrow and FloraBloom with some CaliMagic. Might pick up some Root inoculate of sorts or at least some preventative root rot formula – better safe than sorry. I’ll have to start seriously taking care of the water temp as well. Having it always around the 30 degree mark is not good. On a side note, I inadvertently found a great way to bump up humidity and air temp quickly: add boiling/hot water to the humidifier. My humidifier ran out of water over night while I was asleep. At 6:30 am I was lucky enough to notice since the humidifier rattles when empty. Humidity was down to 38% at that point. I went back to bed, woke up at 8:30 and it was down to 28%. As luck would have it, there was some left over boiling water on the stove in a kettle and I needed something easy to pour with. I checked back 30 minutes later and the air humidity/temp was up to 60% / 30 C respectively. Perfect conditions for our little lady to get big and strong. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 7 - 04/06/2022 First water exchange went smoothly. This was also the first time I added nutrients other than the NutriGrow formula. I mixed everything together in 16 cups of water. NOTE TO SELF: 16 cups is not enough for 1.1 gallons! I had to add another 5 cups of water/nutrients to get the water volume right. I added a bit of NutriGrow only in the last 5 cups with ~1mL of pH down (didn’t measure; kept applying in small doses until pH was around 6). A new week begins, I believe this will be the last week of vegetative growth, I noticed a bit of excess in CALiMAGic, the plants seemed to bend their leaves upwards, as if they had an excess of fertilizer. On the 6th, I decided to wash the soil and now wait a few more days to change the light period.

Saturday, Feb. 20th What a Funride.... I looovwe that Egghunt... Thank you again @Silky_smooth... I learned "Sheeploads" about Growing in small Containers But back to the " Eggs" Shheps contain 10g ( in meatime less) of Soil and they are Bathing into Feedingsolution up to 2 Times aDay Getting sprayed with fast Plants spray All showing tiny Flowers, and there is much more to come I changed the Fertiliser to " Organic more PK"... 1ml/l and the Beneficals stay I think 4 more Weeks and we are done

🌿 Update Woche 5: Die Sativa-Diva im Haus! 👑 Willkommen in der neuen Woche! Wir zählen heute Tag 1 der Woche 5 seit der Umstellung auf 12/12 (effektiv befinden wir uns also in der 4. Blütewoche) 💨. Pheno-Watch: Eine Critical Runtz die aus der Reihe tanzt! Obwohl alle Damen die gleiche Genetik von Sensi Seeds haben, zeigt die zweite Pflanze von links ein völlig anderes Gesicht. Während der Rest der Gang schön kompakt und „Indica-like“ bleibt, haben wir hier einen echten Sativa-Phänotyp am Start! 🚀 Was mir auffällt: • Stretch-Alarm: Die Lady hat deutlich längere Internodien und will hoch hinaus. Sie ignoriert das SCROG-Netz fast schon provokant! 😂 • Blatt-Check: Die Finger sind viel schmaler und filigraner als bei ihren Schwestern. Echtes Sativa-Feeling! 🍃 • Diva-Vibes: Sie ist definitiv die Zickigste im Bunde. Gleiches Licht, gleicher Dünger – aber sie meckert schneller. Sativa-lastige Phenos sind eben oft ein bisschen feinfühliger, was den EC-Wert angeht. 💅✨ 🛠️ Canopy Management & Feeding Um das Blütendach eben zu halten, bin ich fleißig am machen 😄. Ich muss die Sativa-Braut immer wieder sanft unters Netz weben, damit sie den anderen nicht die Show (und das Licht) stiehlt. ✋🕸️ Beim Dünger fahre ich jetzt zweigleisig: Die kompakten Damen vertragen alles super, aber für unsere „Diva“ fahre ich die Dosis wohl einen Tick runter. Man muss sie einfach individuell behandeln! 💧 Parameter: • 💡 Licht: beide LEDs laufen auf 75% ca 640mol • 🌡️ Temp: 24-25°C • 💧 RLF: 50-55% Ich bin extrem gespannt, wie sich die Buds der Sativa-Lastigen im Vergleich zu den „Golfbällen“ der anderen entwickeln. Es bleibt ein Abenteuer! 🕵️‍♂️🔥

Day 38-45 (Day 39) Almost overnight, nearly a third of the white pistils turned red. Not sure if this is something do with environment but it wouldn’t surprise me if it had something to do with the feeding I gave it yesterday. Who knows (Day 42) I was going to give a fat defoliation today but I’m second guessing myself. I might take a few of the leaves that are sitting on top of each other but that’s it. After that, I’m on cruise control until the end. I’m watering in a gallon every other day and 1 day off when they look a little overwatered. All plants look happy and herm free. Bud size is still lacking overall. In my experience, buds don’t really swell that much after day 45ish so this is pretty much it. Can’t say I’m too happy but I’m certain the quality will be on point. (Day 43) I’m seeing a little more fade each day now. It’s almost pinkish right now. (Day 45) I’ve been taking a few leaves per plant every couple days or so. Once I can see that almost every budsite has adequate light I will stop. Just for good measure, I’m going to give a final feeding of seaweed extract. We still have 2 weeks of fattening up to do and they could definitely use a K surplus. And since this is a water soluble nute nothing is lingering and breaking down for more than a few days. Earlier in the season I had a seedsman white widow and a local m39 plant I was going to flower if I got less than 4 female BBB’s. I was lucky enough to get 5 so I gave the insurance 2 plants to a family member. M39 is now done after 60 days of flowering. And the white widow, which was really stunted is going another 10 days at least. Both plants were flowered in a closet under 2 cheap amazon blurples totaling about 200w. They were in 1.7 gallon pots with amended soil nearly their whole lives. They were only top dressed once around day 30 of flower. M39 must be a low feeder because it really didn’t get any deficiencies after it left my hands. It was consistently the most vigorous plant in the tent during veg too. From what I understand, it has the classic fruity m39 smell and because it’s not grown with paclobutrazol it’s not freakishly dense. Awesome. I will post some more pics and report on the smoke once it’s dried.

Switched to flowering. Males respondef very fast! 2 weeks and they are almost opening the first flowers. Taking clones. Beautiful looking plants.

Week 7 of Flowering The flowers are now clearly visible.🌸 Right on the first day of this week, I did a thorough defoliation. Two days later, it had grown so large that I performed an LST at the very latest. It was sticking out a good 20 to 30 centimeters over my balcony railing.🔝💪 Positive effect... all the buds are getting more light☀️. Even if it now looks more like a character from “Shades of Grey”😅. Yes, I know it’s legal in Germany, but here in this rural area, I prefer to keep my hobby a bit low-key.😅 Because of its size, I’ll also be bringing the Gelato indoors for the “full-view photos” for these reasons. I hope everyone understands. I don’t want to disturb my neighbors by filming or taking photos. Otherwise, I’m absolutely thrilled with this strain and how it’s thriving.😍

Well wow . This is quite a new and exciting experience for me . These FAST strains by humbolt seem like the way to go . 1. Great explosion if growth but without stretching the distance between nodes is so tight I swear they crossed it with an actual BUSH . So its didnt just get lanky as F it grew stew girth just as quick as height . 2. Great healthy .... EVERYTHING . Frow roots to cola and everything in between. 3. Response to training is 5 out of 5 . Almost can watch them grow. This gives the "good" grower a huge advantage because recovery time seem to go from a weak of healing with the photosensitive to a 3-4 days with the fast

I have purchased the entire lineup of Front Row AG after seeing it on a commercial level with great success…freakin great success! This week everything was transplanted to their final pots. I will change some things next run, but I already had 5 galling fabrics pots so this is where I’m at. I made homemade drip rings out of 1/2 inch tube. Each tube had 1/8 inch holes drilled into the bottom of it. They will be controlled by their own shut off valves individually. This is also because I’m using the last of a bunch of stuff. Some pots are pure coco, some coco/perlite, and 1 pot of promix hp. Because they will all take water at different rates, and I have an automatic water system, shutoff’s will be used to control the amount of water when the pumps turned on. This seems like a lot but I had everything on hand. Next run will be rockwool slabs and double the plants. Lights are only running at 30% 250ppfd at the top of the plants. The seeds were extremely old and kept in very bad conditions. I lost about 6 in germination to get these 4 which actually sprouted (I have a lot of regular bud seed). I cannot confirm the purity of Purple haze, but is is definitely at least half.

29.01.2021. DAY 15 19:30 Frankenstein is already showing sex. Must be a world record :) . Noticed one fungus gnat flylier but still not doing anything about since is only one, maybe it came from outside. Keeping an eye on that flying bastards. Letting soil dry out as much as I can because fungus gnats lay eggs only on wet soil. Plant #2 is bigger than frankenstain and still not showing sex. 30.01.2021. DAY 16 23:50 Watered both plants with 1L of bottled water with 2ml rhizotonic, 3ml cannazym, 1ml terra vega(1/4 recommended normal feeding) - ph 6.5 - ppm 250. Started LST on both plants. Small crack on #2 plant from LST - my mistake, I didnt take my time and I rushed it :( . She will grow out of it its not a big deal but still mad at myself :). 31.01.2021. DAY 17 08:30 Both plants perking back up after LST. 01.02.2021. DAY 18 19:30 Some more LST. I managed to get the courage to bend plant #2 more, because it has a crack on the main stem :) .Plants are growing more horizontally now and I'm very happy about how they look now. I have a plan where each branch is going to be roughly. We will se how I manage flowering stretch :) . Lights lowered to 32cm from plants top. 02.02 2021 DAY 19 22:00 Watered with 1.2L of bottled water with 2.2ml of rhizotonic and 2.8ml of cannnazym. Ph 6.5 ppm 200. Both have very slight nute burn on the tips of the new growth. It's because of only 1ml of terra vega that i fed them last time. So they dont need nutes yet. Next watering will be with more water because think that around 1L of water did not penetrate deep enough for whole soil to be wet. Still don't know how much water to use next time. If someone who has similar setup and reading my diary can help be free to comment :) 03.02 2021 DAY 20 19:00 Did some more LST. Plants really enjoyed watering from yesturday. They were very happy :). Now after LST not so much :) 03.02 2021 DAY 20 22:00 Checked on the plants and saw plant #2 topped herself just below third node :( . I bent her over just a bit too much it seems. Really a shame. Both plants were looking perfect with the cannopy open and flat. I taped her up with duck tape and we will se how it goes. 04.02 2021 DAY 21 22:00 Plant #2 that has a broken main stem is doing nothing. No development on her at all. She is not turning yellow or growing at all. I hope she will recover. No thing new to add. Still very much depresed because I broke the stem :)
