Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. They've now been in the dark for 48 hours, and then they'll be harvested and fully opened. The terpenes are stunning, and the buds are beautifully thick and firm.

Oh well, not my (our) week 🙄 During the week the Ladys start to look a overwatered and I had no idea how this could happen ... Well, first I tried to rise temperature slightly and had the fans run more often to dry them out a bit quicker, did not work. Than I took them out of the System ... All together worked, at least it looked so ... for 1 day ... Yesterday I found the real reason. The Humidity Controller was broken ... During the night they had around 90% humidity and during the day only 25-30%, way to high and way to low. Replaced the Controller today, hope next week will start smoother 🙂 Beside of this they made huuugggeeee progress, some nearly tribbeld in size and are around 5-6 Nodes now, will top them all next week when they recovered a bit 🙂 Also added some Alfaboost to help them a bit. Einer der süßesten Sorten, die ich je angepflanzt oder gerochen habe. Die Panty Punch von Seedstockers war schon sehr Süß, aber die Ice Cream Cake schlägt dass nochmal ein bisschen. Das Aromaprofil reicht von super süßen Bonbon oder Loly tönen hin zu einem cremigen süßen Kuchen 🍰 mit Honig und ein Hauch exotischer früchten. Die Blütezeit ist nun abgeschlossen und die Pflanze war doch überaschend schnell fertig. Ich hätte durch den Haze Einschlag mit einer eher 9 oder 10 Wochen Blüte gerechnet. Doch nach 8 Wochen regenerativer Phase fertig! Die Trichome sprechen für sich... Ein wenig durchsichtige, viele milchige und auch schon einige in bernstein Farben. Jetzt geht es an die Ernte und über das Genusserlebnis bin ich mehr als gespannt.

Day 54 and I think we're on track to harvest some time next week. I've decided not keep any of these as a mom, the back left one has some potential but non really seem like good hash plants. I'll jar test each to make sure but all have really greasy trichromes.

My o my, what can I say... These ladies are gorgeous! Along with adding in the 2000W along side my 600W, I cut out the grow solution in my nutes contrary to the instructions and my ladies are booming! We'll see how the rest of the week continues! I started a majority bloom with some added glucose for my feed to help with bud weight but they are really packing on. Hopefully next week will be my last week of feeding as trichrome production increases and I can start my 2 week flush!

One of ap colas fell and bent overnight due to the weight on her stem lol. Fixed the problem by using some tape and a support beam for her. Other than that they r both starting to stink up a lil bit and are growing healthy. Completely flushed them at the beginning of the week to wash last week's nutes out for fear of rootrot. Will give them nutes for there next feeding.

The smallest plant 1 in front actually broke but somehow managed to catch the elders who are roughly 1.5 weeks older

Normal week just gave water ph to 6.2 her fad has started leaves not standing like they should , again not sure if it's becaise of the ph issue I had from weeks 2 to 5 of flower . Leaves dieing off very quickly now much quicker than they should be I wanna feed but it's 2 late and I don't want to smoke chem. Filled weed. I want to go 10 weeks but she's looking like 9 weeks because of the issues. Flower looks good for a noob like me basically my first indoor grow .

Hello Diary. The second week of flowering is behind me. I did a little defoliation this week, I honestly didn’t dare remove more leaves and branches, I didn’t know how they would react to it. Maybe I needed more? The temperature is still high, sometimes rising to 29, 30 degrees, but mostly around 28. Humidity in the air is an average of about 55% but sometimes rises to 60%. The problem is frequent rains this summer which creates high humidity in the air and this affects the humidity in the box as well. But plants tolerate these conditions very well. The flowers are developing nicely, and they have started to smell as well, but let the pictures speak for themselves. Green Gelato is twice as small compared to her roommates, but there is still a big crowd in the box. Gelato grew with very dense branches and spread more than it grew in height. The 120 x 60 box size is perhaps too small for three plants (two Hulkberries and one Green Gelato), so the real jungle is in the box. Due to the height of the Hulkberry in the box, and the spreading branches, it has become difficult to take them out every week for photography, but I am extremely careful with them. The Green Gelato has grown to 48 cm and does not look like it will grow much in height. Probably due to the excessive distance from the light, which I had to raise because of the Hulkberry which reached a height of 1m. 18/07/2020. - Day 30. Defoliation. I removed the leaves at the very bottom of the plant to make it easier for me to water them, after that I watered the plants but this time I didn’t put BioBizz, I just watered them with clean water. 21/07/2020. - Day 33. Watering. This time I gave them BioBizz, on schedule for the second week of flowering. I also added CalMag 1.5ml / L, preventively. While they don’t show they’re missing anything, I’ll keep adding CalMag. 23/07/2020. - Day 35. Photography and height measurement. She's doing amazing, probably the biggest yield of the 3 plants. She's got quite a while left before flushing, those foxtails take a long time to grow. She's smelling super gassy and sweet/sour.

What an absolute experience growing this plant!! She didn't get to be the biggest as I gave her unnecessary stress in her early week. I forgot that I treated the medium before planting, and I watered with normal values. This causes nutrient lockout which took 2 weeks to correct, which then stunted her growth. 5L also battled deficiencies after flushing to correct the lockout. she was knocking on heaven's door for weeks, and she still produced some beautiful buds! Once that was fixed, she flourished really well!! she showed beautiful colour on the buds. nice and dense. sweet herby scents coming from this plant! She took big feeds, and tolerated high nutrients in flowering too. 10L plant will be cut down in 2 weeks!! No mould, no pests, no mildew. what a plant!!! I have 3 more of these beans, and i really want to run them again!!! 13/12/23 Dry weight is in. she managed to produce an ounce, 28g exact! plus all the tester nugs i've...tested. 14/12/23 10L strawberry pie has now also been cut down!! this plant was my sleeper!!! she grew so well, beautiful colas, thick nugs, full of resin!!! 331g wet weight. I think this plant will yield as much as the three other plants combined!!! LST was a great plus on the 10L pot! 7 day dry should do the trick!!
