Welcome to my FastBuds GSC grow-off diary! I plan on growing 2 seeds from the same package - one using a 950ml Gatorade bottle dwc system, and the other sharing a 64L reservior DWC. I'll grow them both while trying to be as simiar in techique as i can, but i'm more interested in how the 950ml does, so might not be super picky about doing things exactly the same, heh. I'm making this all up as I go! Enjoy the ride! Week 0 ====== Day 0.1 - 2 seeds in water for 24hrs Day 0.2- 2 Seeds in wet paper towel, in a plastic bag for 24-48hrs until taproot is out Day 0.3 - 24hrs later - one seed has sprouted a tail Day 0.4 - 2nd seed sprouted tail; put both seeds into rockwool Day 0.5 - 1st seed sprouted from rockwool Day 0.6 - 1st seed doing well, 2nd seed no change Day 0.7 - Checked 2nd seed and hasn't budged, so it's a dud. Started a new seed (had 3 GSC, so all good!) Day 0.8 - 1st seed into the 1L DWC bottle! Day 0.10 - 3rd seed germinated - into rockwool to sprout. DWC Prototype ----------------- - 950ml Gatorade Bottle - 2x small air stones - 1/2" overflow tube where i want the water level to be - Nutrient top-feed line The reservoir below is 19L (~15L of solution) with a small 80gph water pump on lowest setting, which will be on a timer for 15 mins every 3 hours (at first - we'll see how that goes). The water pumps nutrient solution up to the Gatorade bottle and the overflow goes back down into the reservoir.

10/1 - Happy as ever. Basically on autopilot. 10/2 - Had a fun photo shoot today. Plants are looking thirsty, will likely water tomorrow. 10/3 - Watered today with the usual. Plants are starting to "stack" the nugs! 10/4 - They loved that watering. I'm loving life right now, so are the plants. I did some minor defoliation today to prevent some bud sites from being covered. 10/5 - Another great day for a photo shoot :)

The moment we have all been waiting for... the summer outdoor flowering photos... enjoy :) These are already in their third week of flowering by now. Started the season off with a difficult start... I put them outdoors while the says were still too short. The plants all started to follower, but then as the solstice approached they all converted back into veg and grew like crazy. I was sure my entire grow was fukd... Now we are well into August which is solid flowering for Ontario growers in zone 5.

Its maybe the last week or two, but look how fat they get. Love it, its smell like fresh lemon. Thats what i like so much on fastbuds, the phenos are so special. Lets see how she turn the last week.

I really feel like changing the lights in week 5 was a bad idea with both this and the gorilla glue. The quality of these nugs is great, but they could have done more. When running autos, its like a hurdle race, every little hurdle you hit takes away from the end product. However, despite my apparent mishandling, the smoke on this stuff is still great. The flavor is there for sure.

🌱 Week 3, Day 7 Update: Buds Are Blooming! 🌿 Hey Grow Fam, We're cruising through Week 3, and my girl is really coming on—buds are starting to form, and it's a sight to behold! The girl is growing so fast now, drinking 4.5L a day. She could even do with in-between waterings, in my opinion. She's aiming for the stars and shooting for the moon, getting bigger every day and stinking out my room. I had to tie my light higher up with some rope as it wouldn't go any higher, and shoots were getting way too close! I did SCROG when flipping, and I should've been a bit more strict on it (did it longer), but now I realize why SCROG is used. Imagine if I never used it—she would be way too tall. Overall, I'm so happy with how she is growing and can't wait to see the final product. :) But, as with any journey, we've hit a little bump in the road. Despite keeping our feeding consistent at 850ppm, the runoff readings have been creeping up. Last check-in showed a runoff of 1400ppm. It's got me thinking we might be dealing with a salt buildup in the root zone. To address this, I'm sticking with our feeding routine at 800-850ppm. If the runoff ppm keeps climbing or if our plants start showing signs of nutrient burn, I will adjust accordingly, but as of right now, I'm sticking to the same feed as she looks great! ( If I do begin to notice signs of nutrient burn (excess), I will try to water with a lower EC/PPM, like 700ppms, to bring it down. But if I don't get the results I'm hoping for, I will just flush the plant with 3x the media size of water (just plain pH water) to wash out any old salts and reset the medium. You don't really want to do this with coco depending on what stage your at in flower, veg on the other hand flush.? Sure!, if you really need to reset that medium go for it, (i do see tiny signs of burn but thats fine if it gets worse then i have a problem) Let's stay focused and keep our eyes on the prize—beautiful healthy buds. Ok, very nice week here. Plant is stinking haha, very sweet smell. Trichomes are looking very cloudy and are starting to turn amber so am gonna hold off on nutes, or at least cut them down. Hopefully harvest end of this week or next week. Issues with the leaves seems to have stopped after adjusting the pH and adding some calmag.

Rolling into week 9 of veg... Flower substrate mixed and loaded. Charged with PLAGRON/Great White Solution. Time for those roots to stretch and fill. Going to veg until she almost fill up the 2x2. Added more clovers to regulate and fix nitrogen.

Day 14 - Everything seems to be going great, not much to say right now! Will be feeding tomorrow! Happy growing friends!✌️🏼🌱 Day 15 - Feeding day, started a nutrient comparison test between fox farm & technaflora which is why I have both of them listed but I am not mixing them! I have 2 plants on the fox farm & 1 on technaflora! We shall see which comes out better! Day 16 - Ladies are looking great!✌️🏼 Day 17 - Got watered with PH at 6.4 today, all 3 ladies are coming along nicely😍 Day 18 - 🌱✌️🏼 Day 19 - Ladies got watered again today with PH at 6.4, will probably be starting some LST in the next week sometime! 2te Woche beginnt. Bisher läuft es glaube recht gut … Die kleinen wachsen brav … Habe mal 2 weitere Nutrients hinzugefügt und Versuche den VPD Wert irgendwie konstant zuhalten 🙈👍 Dank 4 Blumat Classic pro Topf reicht ab und zu bisschen sprühen aus dem Befeuchter… heute das erste mal die kleine Pflanze abgedeckt und ganz leicht von oben die trockene Erde mit den neuen Nutrients zusätzlich befeuchtet. Mal schauen was sie so bewirken …

Esta semana se nota el estallido de la floración. Los pistilos van cogiendo vigor y tamaño. Las flores continúan oscureciendo e incluso las hojas y sus tallos van adquiriendo ese color rojizo/púrpura. 🌿 El tallo tiene un tamaño y consistencia considerable, lo que le está permitiendo resistir algunas rachas de viento sin excesivo problemas y sin necesidad de soportes o guías (por el momento). Se perciben un poco mejor los aromas de las floración, aunque siguen siendo débil. Una ya ha alcanzado los 36cm y la otra 40cm. Seguimos aumentamos la cantidad de agua, progresivamente, según van pidiendo/necesitando las plantas. Sigo intentando no utilizar ningún tipo de "ayuda extra", salvo la tierra enriquecida de @BioBizz All-Mix donde están plantadas. Así que por ahora; agua mineral, luz solar, mucha paciencia y mucho amor!🤞😍

Finalmente corté. La verdad que sl estar sin stock siento que me corrió más el tiempo. La próxima camada será con otra disposición.

Hey there, as the clones are almost ready and I will transplant them in the aeroponic system tomorrow, I allowed myself to get the pH and EC ready and stabilize it over a night. 😏 August, 20th: 23 of the 30 clones made it to the system and are now growing fine. Guess those 7 clones that didn‘t make it were old ones from below the mother plant. SanLights at 40%. ☀️

This will be the last week i will Feed. I m keeping TDS at 400PPM and PH at 5.8. This week I took out the Silica Blast, Great White and also stoped the CO2. Also I lowered the water temp to 66 degrees. Lights on temp is between 75 and 80 degrees, lights off between 65 and 72. I’m trying to keep humidity as low as possible around 45% week 10 will be flush week.
