Today marks the start of the final week before harvest, and I’ve officially begun flushing the plant. It's really exciting to see how far it has come. The buds have developed beautifully, and the scent is amazing – super fruity and sweet, almost like a mix of berries and tropical fruit. The aroma fills the space every time I check on it. I’m pretty satisfied with how the plant has grown overall. The structure is solid, and the buds are dense and sticky. Everything looks on track for a good yield, and I can’t wait to see the final product after curing. Fingers crossed for a smooth finish!

For the most part the girls did well other than the Durban Poisons getting some rapid purple leaf on both plants at the same time. One morning temps hit 15c due to an error with my new heater. Hoping that is what the cause is. Got tired of chasing fungus gnats so I decided to fight fire with fire and be a little proactive and release ladybugs and a few million nematodes 🧐🤓. Nematodes will become a weekly part of all growing in the future. As will ladybugs just to ensure they help keeps mites and gnats at bay. No obvious bug damage so far but I don’t want to jinx it as I have 3-4 weeks left on these 🤔🤔. Check it out at thebuglady.ca if you don’t want to use sprays! Till next week!

Nutrients are the same as the week before, as they seem to be happy and healthy, changing out the res didn’t seem like an efficient use of nutrients. I have added 15ml of tea and 10ml of CaMg+ into the 55l res over this past week. As I could see the slightest touch of chlorosis on the biggest girl of the bunch. This has naturally raised my EC from 0.72 to 0.89. Both plants either side of centre were topped on D25. They were both working on their sixth node at the time and I cut them both down to their third node, but just below the forth (so it has a stump). Middle will probs be topped in a couple of days time, it still has some catching to do. I will be changing the res out on D27, but I will post that nutrient mix on next weeks journal.

Very familiar earthy purples/gassy varnish/deep boozy citrus coming in. The accidental HST snap on the main stalk in first week of flower turned into a solid canopy of 7 Bud Sites with the main premature flower already thicker than the first time I grew this strain and cooked it under a humidity dome by accident 🙏 Gave all the plants mostly water feeds this week in order to avoid salt build up. Some staining on the bottom of the fabric pots from the bottom feeds so just making sure the soil is fine for the final major nute feeds before flushing in a week or so. Made some caps with homemade thc olive oil from a friend that sent me some "Intergalactic Cable" viewing materials as well 😎 Have to use them fast but been stable for a week and not just starting to come through the gel caps, will have to get something harder next time still a lot left in the bottle. It's 2nd closest to the window and i keep my tent open so when the light is off it's getting a solid 16-18 Celcius helping out the genetic purple pop a bit more in the leaves like the Red Poison next to it, look and smell very similar overall except more Sweet/Candy in the RP and Boozey/Earthy in LSD. Other than that, the new @MarsHydroLED TSL 2000 and @ViparSpectraLED PS1500 for veg definitely made a huge difference and the buds on the Dark Devil. Just molasses and ph'd water she nice and cloudy but no amber's yet. Be another week till the chop. 17/1 chopped her tonight she had 24 hours of dark before the end.

Another Week! a little more progress. The flowers are still beginning to turn color. Some have already turned orange in places and some are still white. It's easier to see up close but I can't really get to the top of the plant, because of it's location, so I stick the phone inside to take pics and video. Man, it's hard to tell but... 2 weeks? I started to lower the nutes and will continue for the next week, and then will flush for a week. I got a loupe to check the trics but like i said, they're hard to get to. only time will tell,,,tic,,tock,,,tic,,tock

Still lookin healthy as she starts week 2 of flower. Middle branches are growing faster than the rest and I’m running out of room in the center to tuck branches in net.

3/03/2021 - Seeds arrived - I let one seed soak in distilled water for 12 hours. Room temperature. The other seed will go straight into a moist paper towel tomorrow. 3/04/2021 - After 12 hours of soaking I moved the seed to a moist paper towel and put in a ziploc bag. I also started another Seedsman Blueberry seed (didn’t soak it as an experiment). I put the ziploc bags in a warm dark spot. I will check it in 24 hours. 3/5/2021 - The seed I let soak for 12 hours has started to root. I’m going to let the tap root get a little bigger before I transfer it to a rock wool cube. I will check the seeds in 6 hours. Well 6 hours later the non soaked seed broke open and exposed a small tap root. Tomorrow they should be ready for rock wool cubes. 3/6/2021 - Moved the seeds to rock wool cubes. We observed that the seed that did not soak, rather just placed into moist paper towels, had the first sprout. We made sure to put root down first with spout over the top of the rock wool. 3/7/2021 - Both seeds have sprouted and are in the humidity dome. They will continue to grow until I see roots. 3/8/2021 - The sprouts look great! We will let them grow until roots appear from the bottom of the cubes. The 3rd cube in the dome is another Seedsman Blueberry we will be growing as a mother plant for clones. 3/9/2021 - Not really much to report. They seem to have stopped stretching and are taking shape nicely. I will continue to keep them in the humidity dome until they root out of the bottom. 3/10/2021 - Today all 3 seedlings had roots showing in the rock wool. I transplanted each one into solo cups filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog. I noticed the cubes were soaked and over watered. The soil will dry it out and I will start feeding them Fox Farm Big Bloom.

6/21: Topped off buckets and adjusted pH to 6.2 6/22: Removed growth that was not getting light. Topped off buckets, adjusted pH to 6.2 6/23: Topped off buckets and adjusted pH to 6.2 6/24: Defoliate Canopy a bit and Topped off buckets, adjusted pH to 6.2 6/25 Trim up canopy again. 63 days in, and she is starting to get really frosty. She is maxed on nutes. Still producing lots of white pistols. When I start seeing Amber Trichromes on the flower I am gonna start flushing. Happy farming out there Grow Diaries.
