Just hit day 10 of flower this net has about 20% touching the 2nd trellis. And about 70% almost touching. The Saskatoon Berry plants are very close node spacing. The bud formations are already prevalent.

What up family, weekly update on these girls. I raides the lights 6in this week to allow some stretch but still keeping 400-600ppfd at the canopy level. Over all they're progressing beautifully. I started adding 2.5ml/gal of Athenas Blended line Grow A & B. Haven't seen any burnt leaf tips so I think they'll be OK adding a little boost. All in all Happy Growing.

Week 7 March 26 -Doing a bit of LST just letting them grow keeping the VPD between 1.0-1.1 - Got some tacoing on a few of them but starting to see that’s genetics as the other three are doing well with the temps and humidity -got a runt in the corner here but we are gonna let her ride -also have a sharia law clone from last run and a Cerezaz clone from last run going with these ladies to fill out the tent -looking to trellis these ladies to keep em under control because I can’t flip em yet cause I got a male flowering so it’s gonna be at least 2-3 weeks before I can flip -other than that the tent started smelling like a car garage just oil and fuel hoping for some more sour notes come flower

Hi, we’re back for week 3 of the vegetative stage. It’s not great… I decided to repot my plant into a larger container with a new nutrient-free substrate. I went for a coco-perlite mix and placed it in an 8.5-liter pot. The plant hasn’t really grown since last week, so I put it under an Autopot dome to maintain better humidity. As you can see when I zoom in, it’s struggling to get going, with very little visible growth. I kept the COB lighting to maximize vegetative growth while avoiding too much heat. Conditions are stable: around 25°C and 50% humidity in the grow tent. That’s not very high, so I added a small water tray to try to boost humidity a bit. For the parameters, pH stays around 6. I slightly increased EC to 1.2 and switched my base nutrients to the Athena line: Grow A, Grow B, and CalMag. Let’s see if these changes pay off next week. See you then, bye!

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. Aunque ha cumplido el tiempo de floración (9 semanas), información del banco de semillas, la planta mantiene mucha energía y capacidad de fotosíntesis, para al menos continuar floreando, un par de semanas más antes del corte!! 🤓🤙🤷‍♂️ ACTIVIDAD SEMANAL 💦💡👨‍🌾 Esta semana ha disminuido el consumo de agua de riego, 2396ml, un 24% menos que la semana anterior, debido a bajada de temperaturas y aumento de la humedad relativa, pero además, observo mayor consumo de agua conforme la mezclas tienen menor concentración de nutrientes, creo que los próximos riegos voy a hacerlos exclusivamente con agua, melaza y Microorganismos de Montaña Activados para capturar los nutrientes del sustrato retenidos por varios componentes del sustrato (Vermiculita, Zeolita y Biochar) y facilitar el trabajo de las raíces, creo que la planta por ahora no va a necesitar más. - Día 121. Riego con agua de montaña, melaza, Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA Basic) al 5% y Ormus al 0,5%. Potencio de este modo la inoculación de Microorganismos al sustrato, para que mineralicen la materia orgánica convirtiéndola en humus y además quelaten los minerales del sustrato a la mayor velocidad posible, para ponerlos a disposición de la planta cuando esta lo solicite. Según datos, un centímetro cúbico de sustrato puede llegar a contener hasta 200 millones de microorganismos. - Día 124. Mezcla de riego nutritivo especializado para floración con agua de montaña con Hidrolizado potásico (Humato) de leonardita (Húmicos, fúlvicos, K) al 1%, Biol de Guanos con Microorganismos Eficientes -EM- (MMA, BAL, Ca, Mg, Cu, P... micronutrientes) al 3% y melaza. We start week7 today and I'm happy to see the development, nice structure, one plant a little in front in comparison with others , I thinking to remove the little one and put outside but I need to see the risk cause we never know , inside is more safe but I can't lose space and light to something that i clearly see nto exploding. They consuming every day much more nutrients naturally it feels good to not see any signal of stress , I will keep going to try achieve I nice result!

Week 5 (11/30 - 12/6): Things are getting excitingggggggg!! I had to get some gloves because the buds are getting sticky -icky -ickyyyyy. I mean over these two weeks you wouldn't even recognize this tent. The flowers have really packed on some size and the smell is increasing by the day. It feels like we are coasting and just need to keep things watered at this point, but we have our lights up as high as they can go, so we are hoping we don't get too much more of a stretch from the plants. Next week will be our last topdress for these plants with our Gaia Green 2-8-4, and from there we will have about 4/6 more waterings with our terp tea and we will be just about done with our feeding schedule. We are considering another layer of trellis, and we had to upgrade our PH pen AGAIN.. so to all new growers, don't waist the money, get the Blue Lab from the start and take good care of it. We learned our lesson with $20. Otherwise, I don't have much to say other than stand by for some big ole harvests coming your way. Check out our before and after pics!
