Aug 16: Mimosa Shot is progressing but it has been cool and rainy lately. There are indications of P deficiency because of the cool weather. The top dressing of malted barley and Power Bloom will do its thing so I鈥檓 not worried about it. Hoping for more direct sunlight though. Aug 18: video shows use of far red light at dusk. To keep on a natural schedule, I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com for my location. At this time of year it is getting earlier by 2-3 minutes every night. The far red 730 nm light puts the plant into dark mode two hours faster and is like getting a 26 h day. It works and is a good trick if you have daily access to your plants.

She grows up fast and eats well. I think she's probably starting to lack micronutrients tip that starts to yellow. 馃槓

I spent the week mainly transplanting. I transplanted the Sour Diesels (ILGM) from a Jiffy Pot into a 1 gallon fabric pot.馃榿 I really didn't have any issues this week everything is going well 馃憣. The plant(s) recovered 馃樂 from the transplant like nothing even happened. I would guess in the next week or so I will be transplanting into a 2 gallon pot, depending on how fast she grows. I like to go up 馃憜 in pot size gradually. I never really believed it made a difference. I would go straight from the Jiffy Pot to my end pot (3 gal, 5gal, whatever). Then I found some 1 gallon and 2 gallon fabric pot at a really good price 馃槑 so I bought them. I started out just trying a few plants and kept the plants that went straight into the large pots right next to them. To my surprise 馃槷 I noticed a petty significant difference in growth. Now I figure for a little extra effort 馃挭 whether it works or not it's worth a shot.

The Mandarin Squeeze sisters smell just like Mandarin oranges. Hence the name. She has been busy bulking. She is looking pretty good, and full of frost. I am rather eager to try them when the time comes. For now she will work on bulking some more. It's already looking like it will be a killer flower. Now that I see how these girls turned out it was probably a blessing I had some herms to cut out because there would鈥檝e been no room. Especially in the pc/ssh tent because Pcrit and Sundae Driver were looking to be the biggest plants before I found balls and cut them down. The humidity has been surprisingly high but we鈥檝e had warmer, wet weather for this time of year. I鈥檓 not sure I would鈥檝e been able to keep it down with a tent packed wall to wall. I鈥檓 just thankful for how everything has worked out. If I ever do two plants per earthbound again I鈥檒l make sure to veg for less time. I鈥檓 hoping to give these girls another week but the weather once again is going to be warm and wet so I will probably need to cut them down

I might switch the lights in the next days. Depending on her growth. Day44: Added some water and moved the camera a little further away. Day45: She felt lonely, so I got her a friend... Theobroma Cacao. New seedling that needs the warmth + humidity. Hopefully surviving winter. Day46: I decided to take some zoomed in stills of her. To show off her beauty. The purpling of the branches really make this lady something special. In some of the shots it might look like her leaves are yellowing, but it's just the angle of the light. You can see on the photo that I took from the top, that all leaves are a healthy dark green. At least I now have proof that she's a lady. She's short and stubby, but I'm not really growing for amount. I just neeed 50g, after all (hehe) Day47: She grew like a demon overnight. I'll check the height tomorrow.
