So i have finished LST by end of week 4 and did start with removing low budsights and branches below the cannopy so that i would get more likely big equal compact buds instead of the fluffy not so yum buds. I plan to not defoliate any more than i have right now, unless there's a leave throwing shade onto a potential big budsights i might remove the leave in order to get that budsight maximum light it could have. Growing really is a big learning curve, like by now i have learned so much about to tell signs of the health state of a plant. Like one plant got slightly yellow leave tips, because it got nutrient burnt probably. Like when i noticed the tips i kind of digged into plant health and telling health state by colour, appearance of the leave. Really starting to enjoy the process of growing, like adjusting LST bit by bit, starting to see rewards of it more and more. Also actuelly noticing things that werent the best decision which i can definetly improve on by the next grow. Cant wait to see the end results, i really hope i get terpenes on a decent level. Since for me it became such a enjoyable thing to just smoke weed that actually is tasting lovely

Starting week 4, I've just been leaf tucking. They are starting to stretch. The Nightmare Comet never sprouted, I popped in a Gorrila Cookies from Fast Buds just to have an auto in the Gia Green Mix; to see how it grows. I'll train it as needed, depending on how big the Speedrun strains get. On another note, the smaller of the Granite Haze Twins isn't making much progress compared to her big sister. I culled her, RIP.

Wk 5 was Steady Away, Explosive growth starting, Transplanted one from aero to coco and added Began the Scrog As you may have noticed, I Expanded the garden to give the coco girls some more room. The Dawg in the aero wasn't taking well at all, she hadn't really had a good innings from the beginning. I transplanted her into the coco and Fed her very week nutes..

Well, that's the end of the story. Finally she's been chopped and dried, buds are in the jar for curing period. As it was my first plant, there was so many mistakes on my side that cost me a yield ( only 30g dry) and size of the plant, was 22 cm tall only. So the main mistake was a bad water pH especially on the start of flowering but at least I found the problem on time and didn't kill the plant. All in all I'm happy with all the lessons I got, happy with quality of the blackberry. Yield is low but I'm glad that I have something to taste at the end.

📆 Semana 5 La absorción ya es estable y el pH se mantiene controlado tras el reajuste. El coco vuelve a estar en equilibrio y el drenaje lo confirma. El stretch ha terminado y la planta centra su energía en formar y compactar flores. Los cogollos empiezan a apilar con más densidad y el verde se ve más uniforme, aunque quedan leves marcas del exceso anterior. Consolidando base para el engorde. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Nuevamente repito siempre el mismo proceso en el cuidado de la planta en cada etapa. Siempre cuido el ph que para mí es lo más importante en este trabajo. Despúes todo lo demas se puede mejorar.

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Our Zamnesia photoperiod plants have also started their journey into the magical flowering period, this is the first week. So born on September 1st, on October 1st they went into flowering and these are the photos of the first week, when the ladies begin to understand that they have to do their magic. ---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a little more but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid compromising the quality of the flowers. If necessary, open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees where 30 is already a lot. The positive thing is that as soon as the lights go out the change is already a little visible and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both of them possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should be dehumidified too) --- We are at a top secret level here so I can tell you that it is called XXXX Test 2 and we really like how they are growing. They were practically identical so I decided to top one and let it grow like a bush keeping some branches underneath but not in main lining style.
