Grow Diary – Day 65 (Flowering Day 45) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom Date: May 16 Status: Maturing beautifully – final phase underway At Flowering Day 45, the Sour Frootz are deep into the flowering phase and transitioning steadily into the ripening stage. Buds are now dense, resin-coated, and maturing nicely across all tops. Trichome production has intensified significantly—under magnification, the majority are cloudy, with the first few amber heads beginning to show. The canopy remains uniform thanks to earlier SCROG and HST work. No further stretch has occurred. The branches are supporting impressive bud weight, with some light staking now helping where necessary. The aroma is rich and layered: strong notes of sweet citrus and sour fruit dominate, backed by a subtle gas-like funk that fills the tent. Terpenes are peaking and beginning to stick to fingers during inspection. Nutrient Management: • Bio Grow continues to work in the background as a slow-release base. • Bio Bloom remains the main driver for flower bulk and resin support. The organic feeding regimen is holding strong—no signs of lockout, deficiency, or excess. Watering remains consistent, with careful monitoring of humidity to prevent mold as bud density increases. Current Observations: • Buds are compact, frosty, and aromatic • Leaves show natural late-flower fading on older fans (normal) • No pest pressure or mold present • Environment stable (moderate RH, good airflow).

Added the ladybirds no sign of any mites now so hopefully either I was tripping or they are doing their job either way I'm now keeping them in the grow room been feeding every week of flower with liquid seaweed, worm castings, probiotics, cal mag, and molasses

week 3 i defoliated and increase nutes to week 3 strength. Liking the growth I'm getting from these phenos especially #1. At the end of week 3 Pheno # 1 is deff growing the best but I will flower out other 2 as well. Stem rub giving same smell on all 3 phenos. I cant describe smell of it yet but it is different then anything else I have now or have run in the past.

WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. Happy Holidaze! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 62: 04/21/2021 Upping the amount of water going into the pots this watering. Previously I was doing 1 gallon of water per 5 gallon pot. I’m increasing the amount of water to 1.5 gallons. Hopefully that will produce enough runoff for taking measurements. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. This seems a little risky though since it has been 11 days since a nutrient feed, but I’d rather not burn the plants by blindly adding nutrients. Will return. Hopefully with measurements. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. Hey everyone 😃. This week she has done great 👍. It was done again on all the drifted topping and sprayed one last time with neem oil so that the last trips are finally gone 😁. We haven't had any pests for so many years and all of a sudden we have such little shit parts 😅. This week it was poured twice with 1.2 l of water. GHSC enhancer was added during a pouring (1 g per l) The tent was cleaned every day this week and the plants were checked for health. The humidifier is filled once a day. Next week I will decide how I will continue the training because I have space again in the flower tent 😀. This week I'll decide whether it goes straight into the flower tent or is pruned again. Outside girls now inside, hope they will add up a bit of weight, during first 5 days i didn't noticed any changes in bud size, but pots are getting lighter, all leaves praying and i don't see any budrot - so all is good !!! Thinking to give them 3 weeks or so ... Fifth day of the week. Found budrot, had to chop again BIGGEST cola, budrot loves big ;))) But other girls ok, drink 6.5 water, trichs are still clear mostly... Max 3 weeks, min one ... Would love max, but one more budrot and all are chopped. Happy Growing !!!

Another good week. They got their first real water twice this week. They are enjoying the high humidity and temps. Right on track so far and hoping they keep it up!

Week 13. Looks good, smells good, doesn't strech, just getting fatter, ... the fatter the better) Trichoms on some leaves are getting ember already. That's a surprize, as I initially expected it to flower 9-10 weeks, and so far she is through 5 weeks of floweri ng. Anyways, not foing to rush so far, I believe there's more potential in it. Waterring /feeding is the same, 1 liter every 2 days with 5ml of plagron flowering smthn) Thank you for checking!

Je vous suggère de ne pas reproduire mon dosage pour les nutriments(+serait mieux) et ma fréquences d'arrosage(moins d'eau et + souvent serait mieux). Week 2 went fast with zero issues from this strain it has become my favorite of current grows as of now based on structure, growth rate and it's overall healthiness. I have a feeling this is going to be a really nice plant by flower. I gave her her first worm tea this week and a foliar spray as well. Other then that I'm gradually pushing the light intensity daily hoping to reach my veg lights max output shortly without stressing it. Also rigged my light to move for me check out the video of it moving that mover cost me about 4 feet of tie down wire and that's it keep that in mind if your on a budget! You don't have to buy one if you get creative! Anyway I'm having a good time with this can't what to start training on the coming weeks. All good. Removed some leaves. Getting stinky and minty

Still getting slightly thicker.. insanely dense buds. Smells like Minty-sweet funky Gas. Definitely a very minty dominate smell which is exciting and interesting. Also compared to other strains that ive grown I like her fiery-orange pistils vs brownish color. Looks very appealing. This will be the last week of feeding flower nutes.. next week I plan to give her Cannazym and some boost(sugars). Last week will just be enzymes and or just plain water.

Just trying to get back to normal life after the Thomas fire. I believe I have two phenotypes of some gorilla glue lineage as the seed came from a very tasty dispensary quarter. Even though the little ugly plants look grotesque, they are loaded with bud sites. I have photos and videos and notes of the past few weeks so I will try to back annotate. Gradually ramped light down from 18 hours to 12 after power outages due to the fire, and it was about good time to flip anyway. It is so much easier to control temperature during the winter in my space. The lights keep the space at a pretty steady 74 F. I haven’t pushed PPM and am keeping Ph in the 6-6.8 range. I’m using peony rings as support and to spread a little but I am not training for a perfectly flat canopy as I had excellent popcorn nugs in my last grow even with the lights over 2x further than optimal. Defoliated the lower branches but I am not defoliating aggressively, but will continue to remove any withering leaves. Sorry for the slow updates. The fire has been pretty traumatic for my city and myself, and I’m just getting back to normal life. My home, family and pets are safe, and the fire is mostly contained. Skunk #1 wird immer frostiger und die Knospen schwellen immer noch an sie hat meine reife noch nicht erreicht es sind nicht mal 5% Amber. Tangerine Plustert ihre Knospen jetzt richtig auf und ihre Tricome gehe bis zu den Stängel über. Beide zusammen ergeben ein Duft der nicht mehr von dieser Welt ist einfach Herlich. Skunk #1 bekommt nur noch reines ph neutrales Wasser somit bekomme ich bis sie fertig ist alles raus. Die Nährstoffe die noch gespeichert sind werden jetzt komplett aus der Pflanze gesaugt. Tangerine bekommt weiter hin Ihr Futter Hesi Blüh Complex 5ml/L ,Hesi Phosphor + 0,5ml/L,Hesi Boost 2ml/L,Hesi SuperVit.
