Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Still continuing to defoliate.

Esta semana aplique la tecnica lst. Hubiera preferido hacerlo antes pero estaba esperando por que antes queria trasplantarlas. Pero no he podido comprar macetas, ni el medio de cultivo. Entonces decidi hacerlo en las macetas actuales para comenzar a guiar la planta, ya que va creciendo muy rapido. Junto con la tecnica lst tambien hice defoliacion a todas las plantas. Comence a regar con fertilizante en polvo Green House para la etapa de vegetacion. Uso 0.5g / 1L . Ocupo unos 2L para regar cada planta.

This strain was an easy girl to grow. Very vigorous and towered over her double grape sister. She didn't develop the most dense nugs but I will attribute that to my lame light setup during this grow. She grew under 2 mars 300s and 1 hlg65 4000k in between. I've rolled 1 joint that got me pretty baked. I would judge this particular pheno as sativa leaning. I also vaped a bowl through the mighty and she still has a very green taste because She hasn't been curing very long. She developed a beautiful color when she ripened at the end of flower and yielded 54.8 dry grams of beautiful buds. I had probably another 40 or 50 grams of trim from this lady also. Next time I grow this strain, I will be dropping her in a much bigger pot. Harvested when trichomes were mostly foggy with maybe 5% amber. The biggest auto I have grown yet.

Awesome Week💚 Following some great discussions with more experienced growers, I really think we got things back on track!🚆 🙏 To Those Growmies! I really raised the ppm this week we topped out around 630 PPM This was in an attempt to balance out some nutrition issues. I think the ladies have responded very well. 😃🌱💪 Raised the light up to 24in as well a few days later after seeing positive changes due to feeding regiment. Started preflowering, showing pistols on all plants. Counting down these last 7-8 weeks when the ladies beauty comes out 🤩 Will update throughout the week with photos and videos. Ha llegado el momento de reducir al max la potencia de luz de nuestras luminarias... Tanto Led como Sodio. Regamos solo con agua y lo estrictamente necesario para que no se deshidraten nuestras plantas. Algunas variedades están listas, sobre todo las Fast Version, a otras les faltan algunos días. También dentro de las variedades tenemos especímenes más avanzados que otros, es por eso que la cosecha se hará de forma escalonada. Desconectamos el aire acondicionado y ponemos al max la extracción.

She started out rather slowly, and waited pretty long to get into preflower. After some patience feeding and doing foliars, she turned into a behemoth! I can’t even count the number of times I had to defol or the amount of larf I had to remove. She produced a massive amount of semi-dense, fragrant, and frosty buds. Not the craziest I’ve ever seen, but very nice for lower THC genetics. Smells of strong earth with undertones of sweet berries and skunk.

One more week and this is the last one before switching to 12/12h, I decided to clean a few more sheets on 15th and I'm sure it will recover very quickly.. Happy growing! ✌️🌱🌿🍁
