START WEEK 4/17/22 Not doing anything real crazy. Over time I seem to have removed most of the bigger fans. I am beginning to get an idea of how I want to defoliate what I want the canopy to look like. Having said that... these girls have been very hard to keep under control. I have definitely had some great OJT on my first grow and I still have a lot left to learn. All the plants are "icing up" real nicely, combined with the silver reflective walls everything looks and feels real CoooooooooooooL.🙏😱🙏 +I think the garden is doing well and overall is very healthy +ppm 1200 +pH 5.9 +temp and humidity are all over the place according to the passing cold fronts. The other day temp was 79 F and Humidity was 74% Today it is 54 F and 58 % *Ordering seeds today *Looking at one of the close ups, I think my plant looks like the description of Platinum OG that I have read about and viewed... I must be doing something right. Hey, the Neon Carrot colors are super pretty. *Oddly enough the smell is beginning to change... at least on the lemon tipped plant, from gas to fruity. Go figure. ? Oggi è iniziata la terza settimana di vita della mia Purplematic CBD. Sembra sana e cresce piuttosto velocemente, oggi 19/10/2020 l'ho trapiantata nel vaso smart pot (quello di tessuto che mi è stato gentilmente dato, insieme al kit dicrescita, dalla royal queen seeds, per il contest). Ho poi, nella medesima data, utilizzato per la prima volta easy combo, in particolare la capsula per la fase vegetativa. Purtroppo, ho a disposizione solo una capsula per la fase di crescita, e innaffiando poche volte alla settimana (a causa delle temperature non troppo elevate) ho fatto la scelta di frazionare la capsula in 4 parti così da non sprecarla e poterla utilizzare ancora. Ho diluito 1/4 della pastiglia in circa 750ml di acqua del rubinetto (so che non è la scelta migliore, ma almeno ho potuto regolarne la temperatura) e versato nel vaso circa 200ml-250ml. Sto iniziando, quando possibile, a dare un po' più di luce alla piantina. Durante il trapianto ho notato che, probabilmente grazie all'utilizzo dei fertilizzanti che mi sono stati inviati, le radici erano molto ben sviluppate e qualcuna stava già uscendo dai buchi sottostanti al vaso.

Aug 16: Tropicana Cookies FF is a really fast flowering plant. I’m getting excited for the flowering progress cuz it looks like it is going to be a big one. Very exciting and we’re still only at mid-August so the timing is very good for a strong finish in September without it dragging into October. Aug 18: video shows using the 730 nm far red light at dusk. To maintain a natural schedule I use Civil Twilight as listed on timeanddate.com. This is getting 2-3 minutes earlier each night. Just a couple seconds is all it takes to put plant into dark mode 2 hours faster making it like a 26 h day. Great trick if you have daily access.

Wow she tripled her height this week! From 20cm to 60cm!! She has very long internodal spacing. I note a VERY short veg period in this strain.

Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. Wicked week. Moving: This week report starts with my moving to a new apartment. It's actually not my first moving with a plant, but now it's kinda too big, so I asked my friends bag. Btw, the next day they stayed in different airports, so the bag didn't really smell after it 😂 I poured out the water from the bucket, gently placed it into the bag. And then the main rule I had is to keep the bad vertically while transplanting. And I'd suggest to just walk with the bag to the destination place, but since it was too far, I needed to order an uber. It was quiet hard to find the right car, because I cannot put it into a trunk, and I needed to order a truck or find a car with a large interior, so i could put near foot. I chose the 2nd one. Don't like extra attention 😁 Plant report: The moving was quiet easy for her, and not for me. She recovered quiet fast after it. But here I forgot to tie her down, which is my mistake, and the next day the grow up a lot, so it wasn't enough thread length anymore. Despite I don't use strings anymore, I still stretch her by myself with a bare hands few times a day. It actually works, just a bit worse, I guess. Usually I grow in closets, but here they have no space for it. So I need to think about her future home. I didn't want to buy a tent at the beginning, cause I think it's not that necessary. I still think so, they are way more overrated than the other 'grower stuff', but may be it would be more comfy with it 😃 I forget, that my lamp was not 70% only, so I turned it to max now. I also found out, that I got almost infected from bamboo(week 2) not only by aphid, but by ebanaya Sciara also. And they are growing their fucking babies in a wet ground. So I kind of buried them. I wrapped opened medium in a package. Now I see and kill only 5 this little monster flying around, before that was counted in dozens. I keep defoliating every day 4-8 leaves. To remove old useless leaves, or to open a new ones. Finally, by the end of this week, preflower started. After that smell also changed a bit, now it's less 'plant' and more 'buds' in the air.

Everything going great. Five plants all female. But they should be with feminized seeds. No issues or problems. Just the slow wait.

Fun little week for these ones, was making some more LAB serum and one of my containers was contaminated with a fruit fly and it laid a fuck ton of eggs that turned into maggots. the one container that was still safe is getting made into a cheese and the left overs in that where mixed with the water for this week. Giving it a lovely boost of lactic acid and bacteria. Plants look to be hungry, hard to focus on them outdoors vs indoors and hit the correct PH range plus monitor the runoff for accurate feeding. o well.

This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

No pictures. 24-2 Temperature: 23 degrees (lights on) 18.8 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 51% (lowest) Watering: None. 25-2 Temperature: 23.8 degrees (lights on) 19.7 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 49% (lowest) Watering: None. Removed some leaves. 26-2 Temperature: 23.6 degrees (lights on) 19.7 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 46% (lowest) Watering: None. 27-2 Temperature meter was broken, so no temps etc for today. Watering: Both 2000 ml. Today i topped the plants and gave them both 2L. 2 Liter water + 1 ml Calmag + 0.4 ml Silica + 0.7 gram Grow. EC: 0.8 PH: 6.0 I fully installed the AutoPots and their base aswell, wich get connected to a water reservoir.

Day 23 Notes started some LST on lower branches I like to do small bits here and there Day 24 Notes Water with plane tap water and bio grow along with Monkey Nutrients Root Shoot 1.5lt tap water 1.7ml grow 4 drops root shoot Day 27 Notes I have notice some cal/mag deficiency so will be feeding with bio grow and bio bizz cal/mag next feed which I think should be tomorrow Day 28 Note Fed with bio grow and bio bizz cal/mag
