The NYC Diesel is growing well! A slight skunky smell is already developing around the plant, so I expect she is going to get quite pungent as she develops. Recovery after the FIM seems fine to my inexperienced eyes, and I will be starting LST with lawn staples/plant stakes later in the week. She has been growing low and bushy which is good for my space, and I expect her to explode with growth over the next few weeks. Now that she is growing quickly, I am going to slowly increase the megacrop and cal/mag accordingly. I don't want to overdo it, but I want the feeding well dialed in for when flowering begins.

Hello Diary. We have reached the end of the third week of flowering, Sherbet Queen is already a real beauty. She reached 89 cm which is one cm more than last week which means she has reached her final height. The flowers fill nicely, the scent is more and more intense and they stick to the fingers to the touch. The leaves are dark green in color and shine in the light. I cleaned the lower part of the plant earlier so that there is a good flow of air through the plant itself. Impressive plant, shape, height, ideal dimensions for my Farm. I water the plants every two days, they drink really a lot of water. This week I added Bio Grow, Bio Bloom and Alg-a-Mic from BioBizz to one watering. The temperature is around 29 degrees, during the day it even rises a little above 30 degrees, but so it is in summer, I hope it will not cause stress to the plants. Here’s what it looked like last week. 20/06/2021 - Day 36. Watering. I added 1ml / lit CalMg to 8 liters of water, I lowered the p.H. at 6.5 and with that amount evenly watered all three plants. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 29 degrees and 60% humidity. 22/06/2021 - Day 38. Watering. This time I just regulated p.H at 6.3. I did not add any nutrients. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 28 degrees and 47% humidity. 24/06/2021 - Day 40. Watering. I added Bio Grow 1.5 ml / lit, Bio Bloom 1 ml / lit and Alg-a-Mic 1ml / lit. p.H. I dropped to 6.4. D57/FD29 - Thing going grand with the Cookies so far (enjoying growing these Cookie Based Strains). Smell from it is divine! Touch a stem and its a lovely citrus smell left on you for ages! Noted in a previous comment, like a perfect sweetness, fresh lemonade. You'd wear it as an aftershave alright even!!! :P They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at what would be recommended strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea this late in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geeklight also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant too and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator (and hopefully UVB Tube) and great to see them honouring the Warranty. RHC Seems to be flowering nicely as can been seen from the pics. Stacking well, buds coming along. Slight pinkish tip to the pistils on some buds but not the shocking pink as you'd see in the sales pics...hopefully it goes there though! Also noticing a bit of an early frost on a few flowers...like real good frost! And this is only day 1 of week 5 (I know, I do this diary arse about face)!!! Hoping Geeklight get this driver control board and longer cables to me quick so as I can get the driver out of the tent as I'd really like to get the UVB in there to frost them up in a week or 2!!! May only be getting about 9" clearance though so dunno, could be dangerous!!! 12" is the lowest recommended...but then, I could do the 15 min burst lighting (On 15, off 45 min every hour) so lower the risk of burn but get them more exposure (but lowers the lifetime of the tube). They get UVA from the LED's on the light at the moment for a 1/3 of the day and have been since early veg so should be hardened to it by now!!! Anyway, think that's enough s**te chatted by me!!! Got a little hot outside this week again and temps in the tents reached a high of 92. They hovered around 85-88 most of the time, and nighttime temps around 75. The plants have been loving the tropical like environments, and in fact showing less signs of stress now they are in warmer temps. I got my magnesium dialed back in with a few applications of Epsom Salt. The pants drank twice as normal this week. I also gave them a feeding with my fermented fruit juice I made and they seem to be loving it. I got a new bottle of cal-mag and does not seem to be as acidic, so i can add a little more than I was without it ruining my ph. It too about 15ml per gallon of the FFJ to Ph my water down form 7.8 to 6.5. I tested it before use and its PH is around 2.5. Between the Epsom salt, FFJ, and kelp. The plants are really starting to bounce back from their slight unhappiness. They are all looking near 100 percent health. At the end of the week they are are raging and praying to the light like theirs no tomorrow. Glowing vibrant lush green, the buds are also already a decent size for only being week 2. The plants and in much need of some defoliation but I will wait one more week after stretch to get that taken care of. The dehumidifier running during night cycle has been keeping things in check. The clones rooted and I potted them up to 1 gallon so I now have small moms. I got new worms and my worm bins cleaned out and set up again. Each of the 65 gallon pots got a small ball of worms added to the top soil to get the worm populations growing in them again. I was hoping those casting I added a few weeks ago with added worm eggs would hatch some but no luck so i just got some from Uncle Jim's worm farm.

Yooooo what is up guys! Welcome back - in to week ten and the zkittlez has been harvested. Cloudy trichs all over and about 10/15% amber so went with a chop today. Wet weight of 628g for the plant roughly. Including a bit of stalk weight, which I’m chuffed with. 🙌🏼 She’s on to dry now, so stay posted for post dry weights. I’ve taken off the majority of fan leaves but left all the sugar leaves for a dry trim and to help slow the drying process. The Runtz still has a few days or weeks left in her. Just waiting for those pistils to stop sprouting and some further clouding up of the trichs and then chop chopppp! Thanks for stopping by 🤟🏻

Week 3 flower she's been drinking alot, so keeping her water reservoir full. I should top dress but am gonna finish her without top dressing, I believe the soil is healthy enough to do the job,🤞

February 14, 2019 update: I rearranged the plants to get better airflow. In the video I mentioned that I thought I saw what might be spider mites. First off, I never saw any indications of this on the Cream & Cheese specifically, she looks awesome. Anyway, after closer inspection, I don't think its spider mites but more likely a combination of left over damage from the fungus gnats that came in with my wife's plant a few weeks ago (now gone) as well as ph fluctuations. But I like getting airflow on the plants themselves anyway, I just wish the oscillation worked on the fan I have now. I'll buy a new fan or two with oscillation soon. Also I failed to mention it in the video but there is also a ceiling fan blowing down on the plants. Overall, I'm very happy with my Cream & Cheese CBD+ from Seedsman. She's in the lead with just overall looking awesome!!! The buds are long and super healthy looking with tons of leaves along the branches and I've defoliated a few times. The remaining leaves don't seem to be blocking much because most branches are bent over due to the weight of the buds! She is supposed to be in the 20's with BOTH THC and CBD. I'm looking forward to smoking this one! 💪 This week I fed MegaCrop and Cal-Mag Pro (both by Greenleaf Nutrients). I fed according to their feeding schedule for late bloom. I think I'm going to stick with Greenleaf Nutrients for the duration of this grow rather than changing it up as I have been. Its super easy stuff to work with. 👍

I went to vacation and my roommate didnt water them at all… they were near dead when i came home… probably lost like a week of growth.

This was the last week that I did defoliation on the plant. I defoliated very heavily the plant this week, I removed most of the fan leaves and a ton of small bud sites that would only generate popcorn buds. Unfortunately, the defoliation did not go as planned, I accidentally cut my trelluse net and remove one big branch by mistake, but the plant looked like it bounced back and is not showing any problems. This was also the last week that I gave mycorrhizal and applied foliar spray DAY 114 - Nutes PH - 5.83 PPM- 2830 Solution Temp - 18 Watering Volume - 4L Foliar PH - 6.29 PPM- 2270 Solution Temp - 20.5 Watering Volume - 200ml

. 🌱 Tag 28 - Eine Woche, die sich endlich wie Routine anfühlt Seit dem letzten Update ist eine Woche vergangen und trotz kleiner Unruhe in den letzten Durchgängen hat sich das Setup diesmal deutlich stabilisiert. Kein pH-Chaos, keine Mischfehler im Tank, einfach konstante Versorgung und gleichmäßiges Wachstum. Wir merken deutlich, dass sich unser Wachstum gerade verändert. Es geht nicht mehr nur darum, größer zu werden, sondern darum, Struktur aufzubauen. Die ersten Anzeichen der Blütephase sind da und der ganze Rhythmus verschiebt sich langsam in diese Richtung. Noch ist es kein kompletter Wechsel, eher ein Übergangszustand. Aber wir arbeiten sichtbar anders weiter als noch vor einer Woche. Wir wachsen weiterhin gleichmäßig und ohne Stresssignale. Die Blätter werden dichter, die Struktur klarer und intern passiert deutlich mehr, als man von außen direkt sieht. Diese Phase fühlt sich ein bisschen so an, als würden wir uns neu sortieren, bevor es richtig losgeht. Das Wasser und die Nährlösung passen aktuell gut zu uns. Der pH wird konsequent auf 5,7 eingestellt und driftet über ein bis zwei Tage auf etwa 6,3, wo er sich dann stabilisiert. EC liegt konstant im Bereich 1,6–1,8. Bisher kommen wir damit sehr gut klar und zeigen keine negativen Reaktionen. 👨‍🌾 Gärtner: Diese Woche war unangenehm unspektakulär. Ich hab mittlerweile den Dreh mit dem Wasser wirklich raus. pH-Management läuft inzwischen bewusst und reproduzierbar, nicht mehr nach Gefühl und Hoffnung. Die anfänglichen Probleme durch Hydrogencarbonate im Leitungswasser sind jetzt eingeplant statt überraschend. Wichtigste Erkenntnis der letzten Tage: Wenn man den pH sauber auf 5,7 einstellt und die EC-Spanne 1,6–1,8 hält, ist das System deutlich weniger anfällig. Der leichte pH-Anstieg über 1–2 Tage auf ~6,3 ist inzwischen kein Problem mehr, sondern einfach ein bekanntes Verhalten des Systems. Nichts, was Panik auslöst. Eher so ein: „Ja gut, du bist halt so“-Moment gegenüber dem Wasser. Und das eigentlich Beste: Die Pflanzen reagieren darauf bisher stabil und ohne Beschwerden.

I planted 3 seeds to germinate, but only one sprouted. Sad. After it emerged in the coco, the first watering was done with aloe vera juice. The next day, it was irrigated with Azospirillum, a bacteria that promotes plant growth, fixing N. The third watering was done with an aerated tea consisting of mycorrhizae, molasses, and worm castings. The fourth watering was done with fertilizer, with a ppm of 700. I used Plant Prod and Calcium Nitrate. For the fifth watering, I repeated the tea, and finally, another watering with fertilizer, with a slightly lower ppm (541). All waterings maintained a pH between 5.5-5.8.
