she needs some nutrients desperately. needs a good watering too, but she's still coming along well i think. adding more compost because i dont want to overcorrect the deficiency. definitely have to clear the ground around her, but the mint around it shades the soil around the base so im leaving those. 7/24 - gave her a good watering and some bio bloom just to get some guaranteed essentials. the veggies around it are definitely hogging the nutrients but whatever, it be like that. upper leaves are kind of folded upwards, i imagine because of the heat (it was like this before giving any nutrients). gave her a neem oil mist bath to get rid of all the pests that are adding to the problem.

Unlucky but Lucky. Auto night queen DNF. After 9 days its time to go on. 1/5 seeds germinate from that package 😀 Luckily I happened to find treasure at Saint Patricks day 🍀 3 blue streak seeds. All germinate in 48h in same place than night queen spend that 9 day. In facts Aprox 10years ago i bought 5 of these seeds. Made f2 from them and when raised there was phenotype that was producing much more branches than others so i made f3 seeds from the bushy f2. Lovely blueberry taste and smell. Not feminised so i go with 3 seeds at beginning. Had once 6/6 Males. these seeds are 7 years old. Planted 20.3.24 Sprouted 26.3.24 Lets see what we got. To be continued...

GENERAL COMMENT. Two different realities are populating my humble growroom, by one side we have a vibrant SKR and the other the NL that was destabilised a wile back. This two girls from RQS have lots of virtues, and shooting up many colas, and harvest is looking promising. RQS STRESS KILLER AUTO. AKA SKR I’m looking forward to get the results on this one, beautiful plant, full of colas, compact size, and very dense. 100% happy, my first medical strain and i recommend for anyone looking for a easy to grow CBD funcional strain. She got her last nutes feed a day a go, and now is flushing time! 10 days to go, and she still bulking! As far as flushing goes, I will water abundant in the first week with ph water, then flawless finish to take care of any thing left. Looking close for mould and etc… Fingers crossed guys! I would like her to go flawless!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. I have the light cranking at 80 percent intensity at this point and the buds are developing into some very nice frosty nugs.The tallest plant seems to be the most advanced and fan leaves have a heavy fade going.I’ll harvest these ladies at different dates.Also I added a combo of bud candy and Plagron green sensation for this weeks feeding to try and pack on some more weight.When I open the tent it smells absolutely amazing in there at this point.

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

On cruise control now, done some defoliation here and there but that's it, feeding every 2-3 days and they are swelling up very nicely. Continuing to defoliate as needed to keep things civil in the small tent, Moya is crowded. Canopy is at 30" plants about 20" 2/6 Better plan! Found a table at Goodwill that will fit in the flower tent and allow two plants to be moved there tomorrow. So tomorrow is the day, two plants will remain in Moya, prob Jool and Zhaan 2/7 Aeryn is in flower tent flipped to 12-12 Jool and Zhaan in small tent, Moya, also flipped to 12-12 Here we go Feed set as above, keeping levels low at this point 2/8 Second day May reduce feed a bit, white tips One time feed of Kangaroots 10ml/gal Keeping things defoliated so the middle gets lots of light 2/8 Last attempt to try and get rid of those white tips. Further reduced feed but added just a touch of cal-mag to make up for it. If this doesnt work I am just feeding them and ignoring the tips. Flowering is starting to show, more on Aeryn being under the HPS than Jool and Zhaan under the LEDs. Continuing to defoliate as needed to keep bud sites in light. 2/10 Bringing down the nuets to under 500ppm did the trick on the white tips but can not leave things there so back to some sane level and I am just going to ignore it. Stretch is starting for real 😳 2/11 Since the tip burning is an issue with N, I am going to move the girls to all bloom tomorrow with today as a transition. Strain is absolutely sensitive to Nitrogen.

This week has been wild. I had to cut the sides of the greenhouse as the plants had it bursting at the seams. These girls are all flowering beautifully and starting to frost up. Happy Growing.

Overall great experience. Felt that these auto were real easy to grow, with not many issues to fix.

It was a beautiful week for the plant. She drank a lot, the flowers are maturing wonderfully. Lots of sun for the end of flowering, I'm going to start giving only water from now on I only use water so as not to destroy the microbial life in the soil and to be able to cultivate again in the same place.
