hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

I thought the ladies would have another 2-3 weeks left in veg, but started to notice pistils forming within the last couple of days. So flower will most likely start to begin within the next week, I’m guessing I may see a couple oz per plant come harvest day. Not bad for first time grow & using autos, from what I’ve heard a lot of people do not recommend learning with autos due to how quickly their state can change depending on what you do with them. There are some things I wish now I would have done a bit different within the last couple of weeks, I can’t help but wonder how much bigger they’d be if I did not do any defoliation at all. But I have been combating flies bad and made the call to defoliate mainly for that reason. Started to cut back on veg foods and introduce flower foods and sugars to their diet. Humidity levels still at a steady decrease, aiming to have humidity down in the 30s come flower time. Will be going on vacation for a week soon, so fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. Will be having a good friend of mine come by every couple of days to FaceTime me and make sure everything is handled as well as possible when the time comes.

Feeding full strength with 600ml run off.. Both plants are very different looking to each other, they both have different smells, one is more fruity the other gassy. Still a couple of weeks to go and they are covered in trichomes. The tallest one looks like it will finish before the shorter one.

This girl is also unbelievable at 30 inches she is grand. The growth has been amazing again. She is looking great. I have added 1000 watt Hps for supplemental light. 4 and a 1/2 hrs of extra light. I have split that into 2 and a 1/2 hours in the evening and 2 hours in the morning. I think that puts me somewhere in the area of 16 to 17 hours of light.

Hey there, as the clones are almost ready and I will transplant them in the aeroponic system tomorrow, I allowed myself to get the pH and EC ready and stabilize it over a night. 😏 August, 20th: 23 of the 30 clones made it to the system and are now growing fine. Guess those 7 clones that didn‘t make it were old ones from below the mother plant. SanLights at 40%. ☀️

Jetzt kommt der langweilige Teil des Grows. Wachstum findet quasi nur noch in den Blüten statt. Veränderungen sieht man wirklich nicht unbedingt Täglich. Es gibt ein letztes mal Bio PK 5-8 als Top Dressing 10ml auf 500ml Wasser

Ein Zelt ist voll in der Blüte und neigt sich schon langsam dem Ende zu. Das andere Zelt frisch in der Blüte hat einen starken thripse Befall -- Raubmilben + Blautafeln reingehängt und aufs beste hoffen

DAY 56 Flowering: Well here we are growmies. It is that time.... we have bud porn , beautiful leaves naturally fading and adding to the Autumn looking harvest. The 2 Girl scout cookies have kept a really happy pace this week with the #2 still pushing fresh pistils out and swelling. She is getting nice and tacky too. Both of the girls smell like a candy shop raid now too. My filters are useless in regards to these ladies but I am not complaining . Lol After I finished the video , I decided it was time for the #2 Girl , who is now sat in the dark trying to figure out where the sun and her sister has gone. She will get 48 hours , then be trimmed for drying and curing. The other girl will be joining her some time this week too for sure but as her pistils are so fresh in a lot of places , she will get to dance a little longer . The Amnesia girls are slowly building trichs and bud weight now on their last stretch before ripening those trichs. Only the #3 has any real signs of fade so far too which could be down to wrong feeding when I assumed she was a Girl scout cookie. The buds on her look very much like the Amnesia too. Thet remind me of cacti close up !. The rectangular girl #2 has kept all her jewels tucked away inside her frame but i have made sure there is plenty of airflow within her bush to keep the nasties away. All in all they look very potent and I can already see the lost fine and forgotten tasks within those crystal ball trichs. Lol The guest critical cheese is slowly ambling along and looks bare in comparison to the other strains. She still has about 3 weeks , alongside the Amnesia haze , to fill out those long colas. Well, six months later the indoor side of the grow has finished. A final timelapse is up, capturing the last week of the plants' lives. I'm quite happy with this grow, aside from some foxtailing at the end all went extremely well. UKBS 1 with the frosty, insane smelling quality flower and Carl 1 with giant, luscious buds that smell very fruity. I'll post a harvest week once they're trimmed up, and of course review the strains once they're smokeable. I'm quite ecstatic about the weight and quality of this grow. This diary will continue, as the outdoor plants are still going strong. (of course) - However there will be no more EOS t5 pics until they head into flower in a couple weeks to a month here. updates come throughout the week, as per usual :p Thanks for coming.

So this week she grew 32cm..... That is over 12 inches!!! Incredible!! Every so often I will cut a few leaves off to allow light to penetrate the lower flower sites.
