Hello everyone, Another week has passed and the plants especially the amnesia fast are looking great. This week i only added reversed osmose water to the reservoir she drinks more than 4 liters a day. I also added a dehumidifier in the tent to combat high humidity. Monday 16/06/2025, start of week 5. The stretch is underway and has been for a few days, happy with how she looks health-wise currently although I've made some mistakes along the way that she has had to recover from. i made one final tuck under the net on day 29 (17/06/2025) although it's not a proper scrog by any stretch of the imagination, it's helped keep the canopy level so the side branching could catch up, and I'm letting her go now, hoping she stretches a good 20-30cm but we will see. Day 30, fed at 1.2ec, was probably 12 hours late on the watering as she did not look happy at all, bounced straight back though once fed. Day 31, not much to report, a lighter shade on the newest growth but to be expected at this stage, I've pinched a few of the lower fan leaves over the last few days. Day 32 backed the lights off slightly as the leaves were looking a little light stressed. Day 34, fed with calmag and water only at 0.4 ec, forgot to ph it down but hopefully it won't matter too much in soil, she's had a good stretch over the last day or 2. 22/06/2025, end of week 5, happy with the progress this week, pinched a few more leaves today and reorganised the canopy a bit, had a bit of a heatwave over the last few days so had to increase the humidity to compensate, this also helped with the temps although she did have to deal with temps around 28c for quite a few hours and up to 29c for a very short time, didn't seem to have any ill effects though, temps now settled back around 26c. Looking forward to seeing some bud development in the upcoming week.

Everything going great. Smells like sour candies. Legit can smell the cantaloupe origins and it’s already getting blanketed in trichs. Can’t wait to see these girls get dense in the next few weeks.

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

End of day 35 flower Had an issue with cal/mag deficiency with the White Widow so I had to flush her and increase cal/mag to 5ml/gal. So she should be back on track to produce fatter buds. Royal Gorilla isn't fattening up so hopefully she will this coming week. Also gave her a good flush with some florakleen. Defloiated so the buds on the bottom can get more light. Hello friends. I've not done anything really to her this week. She asked for nothing really.. maybe the odd bedtime story but otherwise she is just resting and recovering from last week's toppings. She has pushed new growth that has supposed me. I need to cut off the next set of nodes but I think I may wait a few days and do the final topping all in one hit. I can't get her into flowering room for another 6-8 weeks so I have some good time to shape her into a sixteen cola mega beast..(I hope). If I do the copy chop cho later this week ishall update some pics of the torture.. ...update..... Did the final topping for 16. She has some interesting variations in growth rates at each node.. I think all the twisting has an effect on how the next node grows. I think I see a way by twisting the branch through a full rotation between nodes you can affect how the next branch set grows... It's just an observation ATM but I will maybe experiment with another plant to test this. She seems okay after the torture. Week 7 is ending today. I decreased my Macro nutrient by half. This week will probably be my last week using it. I took the Armor Si out of the regimen completely. I started using terpenz at 5ml per gallon. No issues still. Keeping my fingers crossed for everything to continue on cruise control. The rainbow cake and London mint cake is super frosty. They all have a pretty strong smell. I have clones and will continue to run the strain I like the best.

I've defoliated a little as I go. One of the watermelon candy has a flat stem (Fasciation) I've been trimming the leaves as they are growing in abundance on the affected branches. The black orchid smells so good it's very pungent and captivating, I'm really looking forward to trying it now.

I had to travel, as soon I arrived(3 days with no water) they look with all leeds failed down, I put water on she refused but few hours after she becomes like this, really healthy

Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Week 10 of Veg December 29th 2019 Hi Folks well we now have aproximately 6 weeks until The day lengths shorten enough to trigger flowering. My main goal now is to try to keep the plant in tip top condition aswell as provide the support the branches will need when the buds start to get bigger. This is the biggest Ive managed to get this plant to grow before now, and with 6 weeks of veg still to go plus the stretch and I might just end up with a nice haul of juicy Pineapple chunk goodness for my efforts. ******As a side note I have two clones I took from this plant that I have already sprayed with my STS reversing mix for Breeding Purposes (see above pic) Cheers for checking out my Diary once again see you next year 👊
