* ***************** Week 3 of Growth From Seed, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ********************** * Started the head scratching more this week and wondering what is going on with the slower growth she has experienced the last 4 days or so. She is looking good and not dark....environment is good.....what the heck is the pH so high when been given feed well inline and below 6.0......why runoff numbers in low 7's so early in the run?? A number of heavy feedings this week so that I can read the runoff numbers for her. Going to keep staying the course with feeding but lower the pH because she is still progressing and its still pretty early in the run........not much veg time for an auto though so I need to get this figured out pretty soon. Gave her some Epsom salts this week as well as I have been battling Magnesium deficiency the last run or two. Always just used CalMag but I don't think the girls always want as much Calcium as they are given this way though. Fed at a rate of 1tsp/gal in a two litre feed early on in the week. Little more Detail........... Apr 25/20, Day 15 - 500ml feed - VitaThrive and Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 6.0pH - small feed of base nute to try and perk her up. - noticed the lower leaves are droopy while the upper leaves are perky still. - Still working on dialing the light for these girls as they are happier at 30" away from canopy. Apr 26/20 - Day 16 - 500ml feed - AN Sensi Cal @ 1.5ml, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1tsp/gal - 700ppm and 6.0pH - The Epsom Salt alone shot the ppm to 500 - Only have the veg switch on for the UnitFarm light. - feeling some of the other girls are showing some magnesium deficiency with the yellowing perimeter of the leaves. Apr 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - Cut slits in the bottom of the bag today to let more water out, more quickly when feeding. - Wondering if the root zone is staying too wet and therefore causing some stunted growth. - She has been falling a sleep too early in the day so either too much light or getting root bound? Apr 28/20 - Day 18 - needing some runoff numbers to see what the hell is going on - fed 3L - Piranha @ 1ml, VooDoo @ 2ml, Dual Fuel @ 1ml - going in was 575ppm and 5.3pH - runoff numbers were 1450ppm and 6.9pH - WTF......bring it down......next feed at only 500ppm and 5.0pH to lower her?? - leaf colour is perfect. Stems are a little immature yet, but side branching is coming out stronger. Apr 29/20 - Day 19 - 8L feed - Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 325ppm and 5.0pH - runoff after the watering was 500ppm and 7.0pH - WTF.....expected it to be more in the 6.5pH range and not that high still? - KK looked worse off, still droopy, after this than the other girls did. Lack of oxygen in root zone with so much water? Its coco though shouldn't be for too long. Apr 30/20 - Day 20 - dry out day - KK likes it a little dryer in her medium.....she perked up more today and looking a lot better. - She has had more vertical growth the last day and she is spacing out some of her nodes. - Her stem is thicker and she is getting stronger. - Still a week behind though in my opinion and they should have been this size a week ago. Apr 31/20 - Day 21 - dry out day - she has done very well the last two days and going to keep riding that wave, didn't water today. - She has certainly gotten taller and wider.......getting her back on track? That will wrap up this puzzling week........pH is not staying low after being brought down......shoots back up over 7 in only 24 hours idea. Working on it Growmies. Excited to see the pistols keep coming and coming I have such tight spacing that the buds will probably start connecting by the end of the week on the Royal Gorilla Day 19- Tomorrow I will tie some branches down to open up the plants more. The LSD plants needs it the most!

Began week 4 yesterday and gave her a defol, she loved it! Her flowers are starting to look really pretty too! Honestly can't wait to harvest this lady.

Beginning of week 2! Flowering is progressing nicely. All plants have been sexed. Ended up being 11:11 female:male. Can't complain Already got some stud males picked out from the hash plants and the Zed blacks. Rainbow belts f3 had one male and 2 female. The females appear to have two smells but identical looking growth. Tall and thin leaves. Little stretch. The male is short and stocky. No stretch at all. I have stopped feeding since I saw slight nitrogen toxicity in several plants. I've marked that they are more sensitive which is something I view positively in a no till living soil situation as long as the flowers can back them up. To control my water pH I am using 12% humic acid and highly fermented kombucha that is practically vinegar. Not great for the overall microbe population in the kombucha but good for lowering a 9+pH solution that comes out of my tap. I am pitching recharge in about .5tsp/gal as well. Plants are looking good. I have noticed that the Zed black is growing better under lower humidities. I have my lights off during the day in order to reduce the humidity load on my plants. At night when humidity spikes I'll rely on the LED light to burn off a lot of the humid air. However if I had watered recently, which is becoming every other day at this point, the humidity with remain high for awhile. I have now added a dehumidifier. It's been helping a lot and ZB is doing better. Update 1.5 week Flowers are stacking. Mostly in the males lol. But the female bracts are starting to swell. Now onto the stem rubs HP: WOW. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I cannot tell if I hate this with a deep passion or I'm just wanting to grow it out for morbid curiosity. Smells like nail polish remover plus sulfur. I would feel bad giving this to someone because it smells so bad. Had a few that smell more like a freshly opened can of tennis balls that I dig. ZB: very strong pinene smells. Earthy and spicy. Little bit of citrus. Nothing out of the ordinary. Grown many hash plants and this a quintessential example Rainbow belts 3.0: I got a zkittles pheno with classic flavor. Fruit. But with a slight rotten citrus undertone that gives it a little character. Another one is pure pine sol. 100% pine sol. I do honestly love this flavor. Will be using both for seed making. The male is lemon lime candy. Will be pollen source.

This has been a fun week for this Cheese from Humboldt, it has made a mini flower on one of its fan leaves and a bee got wrecked in one of its flowers. I want to say it got stoned, but no idea if they can, the bee was super chill I could pet it and get real close with the macro lens, it did not care one bit. It could have been injured from something else like a predator or pesticide but she was gone by the following evening. Other then that nothing to new, the plant is growing nicely and I have no complaints about it. I keep comparing the smell from it to the other cheese variety from Dinafem I'm growing and they are different but I cant yet focus in on how, will be better adept at doing this once they are both in flower, I got high hopes for both plants. Added in the standard 2 week fertilizer Acti-Sol Tomato & Vegetable 4-6-8, had it fortified into the soil from the get go so did not add extra it in till now. About one month out.

Hey guys! Another update! 💪 I bought a Cal-Max from Grotek 👌 From the photos I shared it seems Matcha and Pistachio are suffering from some Magnesium deficiency (I hope that's the issue 😰) and this should help with the issue. I foliar spayed both of my babies and then I added the recommended dosage to all the waterings I made during the week. Gladly the first changes were clear after 48 hours of spraying them and I'll probably see the rest of the changes next week (or the week after) 😱 Besides that Matcha is still super small compared to Pistachio and I wonder what might be the issue. Maybe I'm watering her a bit too much or the heat is too high and it's not letting her take the proper nutrients? Maybe her roots are still small (for some reason I think this might be the main issue) or the damage she suffered from the lack of magnesium was way too severe and can't be fixed? No idea but she seems to be recovering so I'll let her continue that way for a bit more (and let her grow some more roots) before switching into flower. Oh! And I switched places between her and Pistachio, in case the lights were a bit too strong for my baby! As for Pistachio, she's growing strong so I suspect she'll be a huge plant during the stretch phase 😃(you can only dream). She's also showing some chlorosis but absolutely nothing compared to Matcha. I also defoliated both of my plants, they were getting bushy and I want all the "new" colas to receive as much light as poooooosible! Anyway, that's all for now. 06/15/2020 Harvesting a good amount of pollen, not sure if you can see but it is cloudy in here. Female will be fed Happy Frog fruit and flower 9-4-3. And that will be all she gets till harvest time (seeds popping out.) Next week male should be spent, putting out clouds of pollen every day very copious amounts! And diary will continue till I harvest her seed. Just topping off reservoir with plain water for the male I have got 1.3 grams of beautiful pollen to selectively pollinate only the finest of female specimens for at least 6 months. Cookie Cake will get dusted with this bad boy. As well as Red Sky #1

Good day every one, The flowering is going on just perfect. New branches began to actively gain flowers. For additional stimulation of new flowers, I installed a household extra LED lamp. no problem with the PH at all , no problem with the PPM : thanks to Hesi.

Require regular trimming and maintenance to keep them healthy as much as possible so the girls can thrives…. Take up a lot of water for sure. But will update on the way and picture . Other than that I’m happy and satisfied and will look into Cereal Milk from Premium Cultivar as well. On day 12 will take it down from hang drying in 3 b 3. I will grow 6 plants from here on out instead of 12 . Give room for plants to space out.

Bueno resumiendo cookies gelato es una variedad híbrida muy fácil de cultivar pero ojo, cuidado con los últimos riegos si no queréis perder cosecha por moho. Lo demás de 10 pegada heavy sabor increíble, cogollos duros como rocas y bañados de una gran capa de polen. El ambiente del secado se mantuvo en 23 grados de media y la humedad estuvo por debajo de los 45% en todo momento. Poco más la verdad estuve encantado de poder cultivar una genética tan potente . Un saludazo que paséis un final de año increíble y por supuesto buenos humazooos💨💨💨.

Esta vez tenemos la cepa de GB Strains NewGlue, una híbrido S1 entre dos cortes premium de GG#4 😍 💐 Día 23 de febrero: Semillas 24 hs en vaso de agua de manantial con peróxido de hidrógeno a 22 C⁰ Día 24 de febrero: siembra directa en suelo vivo con Light mix de la marca GB nutrients y micorrizas Mykos Pack. (Sustrato previamente regado durante dos semanas para establecer vida y mejorar la adaptación) (Manta térmica permanente) Día 27 de febrero: los dos brotes aparecieron a mismo tiempo! Brotes cubiertos bajo vaso plástico para retener la humedad relativa y así favorecer la producción de raíces. Día 3 de marzo: las plántulas se establecen correctamente y se dejan al aire directo. Humedad relativa del 80% 5+5-. Esto es todo por ahora amigos, el sustrato estaba bien húmedo a la hora de la siembra y regaremos según sea necesario para mejorar la producción de raíces.
