* Starting this week with a final 🍃 defoliation, the plants responded really great after every training (LST, defoliation, lollipoping), eating and drinking like real champs 🏋️‍♀️ 🧗‍♂️. * Humidifier 🌪️ makes a real difference, through low humidity (40%-50%) we achieved better VPD -> more transpiration -> faster growth, the plants enjoying it. * Gemma's crystalize NPK for bloom, collaborates with the others boosters with no problem (reccomend separate mixtures when feeding). ℹ️ You can see the response on the plants after one day --> updated photos ℹ️ Later this week : The plants eating like beasts, watering almost every day, Buds progressing smoothly, Smells too and the canopy is pretty good in this (0.80m ×0.80m ×1.60m tent size) we are impressed with transpiration rate, game changer the humidifier present.

Bubble Kush and her training were not going very well. This week, basically I fimmed the plant last week. And it had just grown straight upwards, and that's not what I really wanted. Due to that, I have decided to super crop the main stem again. Like I did with my Acapulco Gold and that worked really well. It just went absolutely crazy after I did that. So I'm hoping that it'll do the same thing with my precious Bubble Kush. She is my last seed, and I really wanna try and make the most out of her so with that in mind, I super cropped her. She's doing really well and I'm so glad that I did. Here is what I did this week. Date of super crop: 11.9.25. 12.9.25: I watered with 4L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 4ml Flourish PH: 6.5 PPM: 308 The fungus gnats have really incresed since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. They are beginning to really annoy me. So lets hope I can get them under control here. I'm excited to see how she takes to the super crop, next couple of weeks should be fun 😁 Thanks for stopping by this week and hanging out in the comments! 💚😁🌱✌️🧡🤞

Week 8 Veg Report: Mentha de Croco Mutants 🌱✨ Welcome to another exciting update in the Mentha de Croco mutant run! As always, these beauties continue to surprise and captivate with their unique growth patterns and stunning individuality. Let’s dig into the details of this week! 🌟 Growth & Development This week marks a turning point for the girls! While their slow but steady growth continues, I decided to top a few of them. Why? Topping not only encourages bushier growth but also allows the untopped plants to catch up, creating a more balanced canopy moving forward. Each one is still showcasing those jaw-dropping unique traits that make this run feel like a gallery of natural art. The Mentha de Croco mutants truly live up to their name, with each leaf telling its own story—some broad and serrated, others narrow and elongated, all equally breathtaking. Watching them evolve week by week is a lesson in patience and appreciation for the beauty of diversity in nature. 🌡️ Environmental Conditions Good news on the environmental front! The room’s temperature has stabilized to a more comfortable range, with daytime temps at 22°C and RH steady at around 66%. These are near-ideal conditions for vegetative growth, helping the girls to stay happy and stress-free. The stable climate contributes to the vibrant health and vigor they display—always praying to the lights like the champions they are! 💧 Feeding & Nutritional Care Nutritionally, we continue with the tried-and-true regimen: • Aptus Regulator 🌟 • CalMag Boost • Start Booster I’ve completely transitioned to using the All-in-One Pellets, which are doing a fantastic job of delivering slow-release organic nutrition directly in the soil. The decision to stop liquid feedings with the All-in-One Liquid was the right move, and it’s clear the girls are loving the steady supply of essential nutrients right at their roots. Additionally, I’ve been sticking to bottom-watering. Filling the trays and allowing the soil to wick up moisture not only ensures the roots get what they need but also keeps pesky gnats at bay—especially when paired with yellow sticky traps. This method has made a noticeable difference in keeping the grow area clean and pest-free! 🛠️ Cultivation Techniques: To Clone or Flip? The big question of cloning or flipping still hangs in the air. I’m taking my time to observe and assess their progress. Each plant is so unique that I want to give them the space and time to reveal their full potential before deciding. Let’s touch on the two potential strategies for next steps: 1. Flipping to 12/12 for a Short Period: This would allow me to determine sex quickly, but it can stress the plants slightly. 2. Cloning: Creating clones and flipping them instead is a great way to preserve the integrity of the main plants while identifying males and females without disrupting their growth cycle. Both approaches have their merits, and I’m leaning toward cloning once they’re big enough to snip without harm. 📸 Photography Corner: Highlighting Details This week, I brought out the cameras again—my trusty Nikon and Sony with interchangeable lenses—because, let’s face it, phone cameras just don’t do justice to the intricate beauty of these plants. Whether it’s the textures of the leaves or the play of light on the water droplets, having the right lens makes all the difference. For close-ups, I used a macro lens, which allowed me to capture every vein and serration on those incredible mutant leaves. For a wider perspective, I switched to a standard lens to showcase their overall growth. These tools help me highlight the artistry in each plant and share it with the world. 🙌 Shoutouts & Gratitude A heartfelt thank you to the amazing brands and communities that make this journey possible: • Terpyz Mutant Genetics 🌱 – For these one-of-a-kind mutants that redefine what’s possible in cultivation. • Aptus Holland 💧 – For providing the cleanest organic-mineral nutrition line that keeps the girls thriving. • Pro Mix – For the top-notch soil that’s the perfect foundation for this grow. • Future of Grow (FOG) 💡 – For the incredible Black Series lighting that ensures every photon counts. • Trol Master – best controls in the market, and i have all the data to back it up . • Grow Diaries 📖 – For giving us growers a platform to document and share our journey. • The Community 🌍 – To everyone who follows, supports, and engages—haters and lovers alike. You all make this so much fun! 🌱 Let’s Keep Growing! As always, the journey continues with curiosity, passion, and gratitude for the incredible process of cultivation. Stay tuned for more updates as the Mentha de Croco mutants inch closer to their next big steps. Until then, happy growing, and remember: Every leaf has a story, every plant is a teacher, and every grower is an artist. 🌿✨ Genetics - Mentha De Croco https://terpyz.eu/products/menta-de-croco-fern-type?_pos=1&_sid=e9237cbcb&_ss=r DogDoctorOfficial Discount Codes @ terpyz.eu - DOCTOR 15% off Nutrition - @aptusholland https://aptus-holland.com/ Led Power @ F.O.G. 09 May 2021 Today starts the 15th week of my grow, and the 6th week of flower. Just over a month till the scheduled harvest, and today the nutrient amounts change according to my feeding chart. So today feeding went like this: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, FloraBloom 15ml. Today we aren’t using any of the FloraGro, and won’t be for the rest of the grow. I chilled the water again, but not as long this time and the temperature of the solution was 56.3 degrees F. I thought it odd that the website doesn’t allow for entries lower than 50 degrees in that block, but oh well. The initial pH was 5.89, and I added pH UP 2.5ml which adjusted the pH to 6.53. The runoff pH was 5.63. Lower than I want, but still within range for a healthy plant. Temperature in the tent was 81 degrees F, and humidity was at 53%. The plant looks great, and is maturing quite nicely. 11 May 2021 Today was a busy day! My DarkStar Kush is doing very well! The smell is starting to get stronger and the buds are fattening up as well. I’ve noticed some mild nutrient burn on some of my leaf tips, but nothing terrible. I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure that they don’t get worse. I haven’t really made any adjustments to the nutrients lately with the exception of increasing the FloraBloom by 2.5ml’s, and stopped using the FloraGro in accordance with my feed chart. Feeding today went as follows: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom at 15ml. The initial pH was 5.85, so I added 3ml of pH UP to increase the pH to 6.52. The runoff pH was 5.65. I finally received my TDS meter today, so the TDS reading was 1070 ppm. My feed chart says that the ppm range in looking for is 1050-1400 ppm, so 1070 puts me in that range. I chilled the water again today, and it was 46 degrees F. The temperature in the grow tent was 81 degrees F, and humidity was 40%. So far so good, and I’m starting two new diaries today for some clones I was gifted by Buddabud, so check them out. 13 May 2021 Just when I thought I was on cruise control with my baby here, she throws me a slow curve. The question is; will I hit it, or miss it? The light nutrient burn that I noticed in my last entry on the 11th has gotten just a small tad worse, but nothing terrible. I believe it’s not from the feeding, but the build up of nutrients in the soil. I finally got my TDS monitor as I noted the other day, so I tested the ppm in the runoff and it was over 4000. Then, as I was shaking the excess water off the end, the end cap for the battery came off and the whole monitor plunged back into the water completely submerging for a moment before I could get a hand free to grab it. It’s been sitting in a bowl of rice since yesterday. I just hope it dries out and keeps working. I need to see what the TDS of the soil at this stage is supposed to be and then either keep going and damn the burn, or maybe feed with pH’ed plain water for a feeding or two and then see how it reacts. I’m still deciding, but will research first before making my decision. For today I kept to the feed chart. I gave the following: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom 15ml. The initial pH was 5.92, so I added 2.5ml of pH UP which raised the pH to 6.47. That is what I fed the plant. The TDS reading of the feed solution was 1036 ppm. Runoff pH was 5.63. Tent temperature was 79 degrees F, and humidity was 40%. I have just about 4 weeks left in this grow till the scheduled harvest. 15 May 2021 Today is the last day of the 6th week of flower, and I’m going to try and arrest my mild nutrient burn on my baby. I’ve decided to just give water and CALiMAGic today properly pH’ed to see if it does anything to improve the situation. I wanted to have a significant amount of runoff today so I fed 1.5 gallons of water with 7.5ml of CALiMAGic. The initial pH was 7.60, but adding the pH DOWN is much different than adding pH UP! I initially added just 0.5ml to the gallon of water which lowered the pH from 7.60 to 4.9. I was like, “DAMN!” 😳 so I had to pour it all out and start over again. I learned through research never to mix pH UP and DOWN in the same solution. If it’s wrong, you need to start over;!so I did. After 3 tries and lots of wasted CALiMAGic, I finally got it right by only adding 5 drops (gtts) of pH DOWN to get it to 6.64. The TDS meter dried out and still works, so the TDS going in was only 403ppm. Like I said, I wanted a lot of runoff to try and clear out some of the nutrient buildup in the soil. The runoff pH was 5.58, and runoff TDS was 3803 ppm. Daytime temp was high today at 86 degrees F, and humidity was 31%. She looks good. She smells good. I hope she stays good! A few weeks left till harvest!

So got the net in place this week and started doing my ScrOG. Also did a bit of FIMing and some LST to help speed things up a bit. So far the weaving hasn't been as easy as I was told it be some ive been using some soft twist ties to help keep them in place. Going to veg and weave for another week or so before I switch it to flower. I was told you have to continue weaving for 2-3 weeks into flower but im worried that'll stress the plant out so if anyone that reads this knows other wise, comment below. Increased the feed from 1 liter to 2 liters because I wasn't getting any run off. Now I'm getting 10% run off every watering and I've been able to keep my run off ppm to less then 100 ppm above feed. So far I'm really like working with coco and don't see myself going back to soil unless it's outside plants. The environment has been fairly stable the last week with outside temperature droping. Had a spike in humidity yesterday because it got up to 75% humidity outside where I live. Luckly when that happened my tent only went up to roughly 67% but it's slowly dropped down and then stopped at 62%. There calling for another heat wave this week with it reaching up to almost 40c again for a couple days.... can not wait for summer to be over. I'm a ginger so I'm more of a autumn and spring kind of guy and plus this heat is making it difficult not only for this plant but also the ones I started seeding a few weeks back. Got so hot that they stopped growing for 3 days, 2 died and 3 got burned a bit. So far this 300w SE-3000 Spider-Farmer light is really rocking it. Great coverage, adjustable and detachable ballast have made this a easy grow even with the mad heat. Definitely going to look at the SE-5000 light that runs at 450w or the SE-7000 light that runs at 650w for my next light in the 4x4 tent. Next go around I'm going to try this light in a 2x2 tent I have that I use for germinating. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone.

Skunk Special, a.k.a. Red Skunk, stems from the infamous Red Skunk clones that conquered the Netherlands in the late eighties/ early nineties. Ferry started working on the Skunk Special in the nineties. The Skunk Special is the result of several S1 lines inbred with a 25% of Automatic. The current line was selected over several generations in order to retain the right and essential Skunk features, yet creating a fast flowering strain. Showing almost no variety between the individuals, this is among the most stable and homogenous strains since it was selected from a few thousand plants. This Skunk Special is a powerful and strong plant with thick, solid stems, creating massively tight buds during the flowering stage. The Skunk Special has gorgeous looking red pistils that give this plant an amazing bag appeal. Skunk Special is suitable for indoor, greenhouses and outdoors if grown in temperate and/or the warm Mediterranean climate. It is a massive yielding outdoor behemoth with amazing trichome production. The smell can be described as extremely pungent and citral with the classic cat-piss smell of the old-school Skunk. It is a very clean smoke. A Skunky and slightly sweet taste that is pleasantly acidic towards at the end. A mildly relaxing body high that causes a tingling sensation combined with a very pleasant head high.

This girl is coming on really nicely starting to see a bit more to her now. I have up’d the big bud nutrients this week so hopefully it “puts the big in your buds” increasing both their size and quality It has been about two weeks now since I nearly snapped a branch clean off. I strapped and propped the snapped branch to the main stem as soon as it happened but when I checked on it the next day the strap had slip. I did worry as I wasn’t sure how long it had been apart but I re-strapped it and hoped for the best. So far the branch still looks healthy and I haven’t noticed any issues with it at all. The branch looks as if it’s healing really well so hopefully she pulls through. Happy Growing 🌱

Indoors flowering nicely, brown hairs starting to show. Outdoors still one of the Ultimate still hasn't started to flower. I'm starting to wonder if it's not an auto at all. The gelato is forming nicely, with a little visitor a bee. The other ultimate is also flowering nicely. Day 75, due to hothouse damage the three outdoor plants are now indoors

Changed my plans a bit so they probably won't move to another location ( or they really have to outgrow their current pots... ) so added some additional lights and raised my EC a bit. Also added CO2 to 900PPM but not sure if continue with that. First time CO2 out of a bottle instead of a generator. If it is too pricey I will quit that. 07-09: YES!! I have an extra room available so I am moving these ladies to a bigger place.. will keep you up to date.... From 5.7 to 30 liter pot size (a bit late to switch but I do believe they can profit from it.) A few hours later.... Well, that's not easy at all... taking a break for a moment... Checklist for myself: The tent is up and checked for leaks (ugly thing, but no complaints for fifty bucks) Lighting is installed at the correct height CO2 is in place, needs to be moved to the right spot Exhaust is installed (still need to tape the transitions) Still need to install Blumat (but first repot the plants due to positioning) Install the water supply (yes, I should have done that first...) Meh... another hour or two. Hopefully, they don't mind being without light for about 3 hours. A few hours later.... Well, that was a lot of work... but thank goodness it all worked out (just need to install the Blumats, which I'll soak in water shortly). Besides that, I now have a water supply and drainage available, which makes certain tasks much easier. Hand-watering was pretty fun (the plants were doing well so far), but it was a lot of work for 12 pots. Having to use a syringe every day for dosing just isn't my thing. The plants are suddenly looking very small again, though. But well, now they can literally grow in any direction. I'll quickly check how they did overnight, and then the lights will be going out again soon. And then quickly took some photos just before the lights went out... The ladies seem to be doing just fine, with their leaves happily pointing upwards as if they're waving cheerfully. The CO2 has been used up quite quickly; the bottle is empty, which isn't surprising given the large tent. I'll refill the bottle shortly and see how long it lasts this time. I think trimming will be a bit easier this round. Tonight, I'll lower the lights a bit to around 30 cm and hope they can handle the doubling of the light intensity. They were doing well last night, at least. The temperature is on the high side (33˚C), but that's not surprising given the current outdoor temperatures. I expect that once we have normal temperatures again, the temperature will settle around 29˚C. #SSSC_John Thank you very much for this outstanding strain so far...

The smell on this lady is absolutely insane. The only way I can describe it is a dank smelling cherry. Trimmed 2 ozs after drying got done and had the whole house smelling. Very impressed with the nose tone and taste of the Cherry Cola and its not even cured yet. Growing this plant has turned me on to the cherry terps and will continue to look for them.
