They're getting so big. I'm hoping this week I'll start to see some flowers starting to form. Gave them a ph'ed watering only today. I'll be giving them water with calmag on Wednesday. 7/27 - They're finally budding up. YIPEE! This is my best grow batch yet! GDP1 and BK are about 11 weeks old and GDP2 is about 9 weeks old.

Weekly update: August 6th Looking great, major spurt of growth on both girls, #1 (sativa leaning girl) had major final stretch to end off stretch in 3 days (hopefully). And #2 (stockier indica leaning pheno) has had a big increase in flower size in 3 days which is promising, and is also producing a very sweet and tropical fruity gas smell, this is TCP after all! Oh yea and I’m running about 1700 center 500 outer ppfd and tapering down if I see anything but nothing so far all good nice genetics, may drop in the next week even if no signs or symptoms, to prevent and not be too greedy. Now for the not so good… been getting 10% runoff almost every feed, but my runoff of #1 was 3500ppm and pH 4.5 and #2 at 5000ppm and pH 4.5. Been giving around 850 ppm input at pH 6.0, never went over 1000ppm input. So I have to correct with 25% increase in feed volume, 300-400ppm input at pH 7.0 for what I infer to be 2-3 feeds until runoff ppm is significantly lower, and pH is at least 5.5. UPDATE Aug 8: To address the toxic/locked-out root-zone I did a regular feed with runoff (1.5 gal total volume per pot @ 820ppm bloom focus), runoff consisted of pH 4.2-4.5 and 4000-6000ppm... OUCH. I then fertigated with 0.5 gal plain pH 6.5-7 dechlorinated tap water each. I repeated this a total of 3 times, to which the last flush had 3 ml/gal cal-mag. final runoff ppm @ 1000-2000, pH 5.3-5.5. To conclude, I more than likely wasn't achieving enough runoff per scheduled feed, and did not cycle a few plain pH adjusted waterings. I had almost the same thing happen last run with autos, except they were showing signs of lockout, these photo girls are not. I must do a regular watering every 3 feeds, achieve 20% runoff with high ppm feeds, and 15% runoff at least with mild to moderate ppm's. Lesson learned, I hope I get a full run in the future without hiccups like this. Critical x Animal Cookies is doing good for her size. She is under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She is the smallest of 4 in the run. I did a solution change today. I changed the air stone a few days ago. I also added a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses to the solution. She is developing a lot of resin so far. 🤞🏻she keeps going strong. She is healthy in her 4th week and after her first defoliation. she grew an inch. i also topped her on the two different tops {as i said last week she topped herself bout the 2nd week) i am going to put a photo of this week you can clearly see the split. i also increased the light intensity a bit too between 600-700 ppfd or 44000 lux roughly wanna see what happens pushing the ppfd a bit.

Very sweet and floral aromas I feel from the flowers of this beautiful ak420 man, it's just a beautiful fragrance, like roses or something like that, very floral, the flowrs are full of trichomes everywhere and the nuggets are very solid and compact, let's see how this wonderful lady ends up, we're almost at the end! ❤️💚💛✌️

Got my screen of green out of this week. And I am loving how well the plants are responding to it. It wasn't quite as tedious as I thought it might have been having to leave the plants. I'm still debating on cutting off a few of those lower limbs although they do have some bud spots on them it's probably going to be some smaller popcorn buds. Also I believe they drank more water last week than they have so far which I guess is congruent with their growth. I'm noticing on one of the plants some of the lower leaves are starting to turn yellow, I'm using calimagic, but I'm unsure if there are still some nutrient deficiencies. Also I still see the fungus gnats so I'm going to buy some stuff this week the soil just doesn't get dry enough before I need to water it again for them to be gone.

Hey yall, Temps were high, but under control now. My girls were droopy despite having moist soil. After a good compost tea they bounced right back. Pistol hairs are showing, haven't grown this specific cultivar before so the bud structure is a but different than others I am familiar with. Let's see what she does moving forward. I am not a super fan of these genetics. Already have new seeds I am ready to start once these ladies are done. Over all the Strawberry Diesel from Beaver Seeds is not a noob grow, you need to have your grow dialed in. And really be careful with PM. I am keeping humidity as low as I cam while still maintaining a decent VPD. Challenges with this strain definitely turns me off. Looking forward to a new cultivar, already have some genetics from Michigan, those cats are really something else, they are hellbent on being better than the West coast. And they are in my humble opinion 😌 ☺️ Pure Michigan looks good, also Honey Sticks Genetics out of Maine is killing it, their Bananaconda 4 tested over 40% total cannabinoids. They want like 3k per cut, so that won't be my next, but looking forward to new genetics nonetheless. Anyways made some new ferments, remember to use equal parts organic sugar, Jaggery is best, that is the closest form of sugar to the sugar cane plant. Cover with paper towel, 2 to 3 days later let gravity give you all that juice, don't squeeze it to get more. Keep that juice in the fridge, that is your food. Then add water to the solids and keep at room temperature for 3 months to make a vinegar. That is your cleanser. Greenhouse feeded one is struggling under the high intensity of the light. But still growing frosty buds. Advance Nutrient one is smaller and is receiving less light. She is still recovering from the earlier accident though.

Day 65, 14th of November 2020: Growing so so much topping does not stop her! Really nice! Strong tall girl and growing aggresively similar to my Gelato from the same breeder Original Sensible Seeds. I hope she calms down a bit and stop growing it is enough thank you ;) 😅😅 Pre flowers and pistils are and nicely forming! Fertilization happens every 2nd day with the ratio and mix above. I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so she receives 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when she will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week....
