This week I Realised I'd used the wrong feed chart so I was over feeding 🙄 the leaves burnt on a few plants so I've only fed them water this week and will resume feeding from next week. There are still no pre sex pistils showing but it can't be far off now. As soon as pistils start to show I'll start feeding bloom feed. I've turned the light up to 30000lux using HLG's online calculator for converting a lux meter/app reading to PAR , my light is 3000k which with lm301H Led's works out @ 465ppfd which is about the max the plants can use in veg without supliments co2. Things went pretty well this week after having some PH issues in the previous week. The girls are all maturing at different rates and there’s a visible difference in their nutrient uptake and usage that I can see by the color of the leaves. One of the girls pistols have turned about 25% orange brown, while the other two only 10% or so. I decided to defoliate the majority of the fan leaves to help them along maturing and to manage the night time humidity levels. The trichombs are fattening up and turning milky white, only a few amber. Check out the short recording from my microscope. ✌️

Observe. The stem that snapped clean off in week 5, the resulting stress seems to have made a 2ft solid massive cola, probably the biggest individual I've grown, albeit she had signs of stress, and I felt like she was a little behind in the floral development compared to others, but as the rest of the plants start to settle down with packing on mass, the stressed colawas just getting started. Super interesting to see the difference that the snap made to the base of the stem overall, as I know before the snap, they were all the same girth or thereabouts. Neat little lucky accident, maybe I'll try something next grow.

Water rainwater + epsom salt and diluted nutrients with more total water of 180 ppm ph 6.2 temperature of the 20 ° solution, gradually using more water due to the 10% runoff temperature, slightly relieving the roots without much removal, sprayed with water without ppm complement due to perspiration and water loss when it's hot, more soil around the stem "I made some abrasions around the stem that is now covered with soil in order to create more quick roots, added more mycorrhizae around to heal and root and stretch with mycorrhizae. Always covered with coconut fiber so it doesn't dry quickly without absorbing enough, I really need one more exhaust fan to pull in fresh cold / fresh air from the outside in, and limit one little use of fans since air conditioning is not part of my plans at the moment.

Went camping so I couldn't start the week right away. June 16th was the start of week 3...going GREAT so far. I'm definitely leaning towards topping and mainline for these ladies! EDIT: I goofed up, lol. They were born on June 6th. So yesterday, June 20th was the start of week 3. EDIT: the ladies went in their final pot today, june 22nd to a 6.25 gallon pot. They look dinky now, lol. That'll change pretty quick 😎

Day 1: This was the fastest germination I have seen. Only 72hrs from being planted to looking happy and healthy above ground. My plan is to not water this week and only rely on the humidifier which is filled with Ph’d water for feeding the plant. Now that the seedling is above ground I have changed from the 3 small CFL’s to just one 200watt CFL. I’ve added a strip of silver tape around the inside of the top of the pot to help reflect light. Day 2: Looking good. I put a few drops of water around the seedling just to dampen the soil a bit. Temperature is a bit hotter than I’d like at 30 degrees with the lights on but that’s down to the outside warm weather conditions. Seems to be okay though. Day 3: Happy and healthy. I put another few drops of water around it again to keep the soil damp, but only in close to the seedling. I’m keeping the top layer of the rest of the soil dry so it’s not appealing for little bugs and mould. Underneath the dry layer the soil is still wet since I soaked it through before planting the seed. Day 4: Getting wider but not any taller which is awesome. I put another few drops of water around the bass of the stem. The humidity doesn’t seem to be enough on its own, probably because of the high temperature. Day 5: Happy and healthy looking. Day 6: Everything is awesome. Day 7: One week old and it’s all looking good. Another few drops of water again today around the stem. Plant is starting to take shape. Wahoo, one week down.

Fungus gnats are about the same, bad... Gave each plant another dose of the ScanMask nematodes from BioLogic. I covered them with some more Roots Organics soil to protect them from the light.

Week 2: VEGETATION There isn't really much to report this week. The little Frostbanger is growing slowly but surely. The leaves look a bit deformed. Probably because of the nutrient-rich soil.🤔 But I'm not really worried about it. By the end of the week, it should have adjusted to the soil's nutrient content... at least that’s my hope. On the last day of this week, I sowed garden cress to create a protective layer for the living soil, and the clippings will serve as a mulch layer. At least that’s the plan. And another positive note: the weather forecast is slowly looking better 🌻☀️
