🌿 Grow Diary Update: Week 5 Check-In 🌿 Hey growers, Can you believe it's Week 5 already? Time's flying, and so is our girl – she's a beast now! I've been itching to defoliate more, but I've maxed out the amount of defol i can do and i have now stopped completely to avoid stressing her out too much :/ Overall, she's looking happy, but I noticed some leaves getting darker than I'd like, so I dialed down the nitrogen a bit... Remember my PPMS struggle? Well, good news – got them down to 1200ppm but could not get it any lower.. i could lower the ppm/ec of intake even more to hopefully drop it but in this stage of flower feeding lower than 800ppms is too low unless you need to flush to reset the medium so i am just gonna keep sticking to the 800ppm feed for now and measure run off each time hopefully i can get it around 900-1000, yes these high ppm/ec levels are fine for cannabis but mostly when your using co2 thats like 700ppm+ but at the end of the day SHE LOOKS GREAT! Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. So, what does it mean when your plants are showing off big, luscious leaves? It’s a clear indication that they’re happy, healthy, and thriving in their environment—big leaves mean lots of energy being produced and stored for future bud growth. Exactly what we want! 💧 Precision Feeding with Aptus Nutrients 💧 This week, I took a deep dive into my Aptus nutrient lineup and shared a video explaining how each product affects the water’s pH and TDS. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. The precision I’m able to achieve with the AMP-3 is mind-blowing—I get immediate feedback on pH, temperature, and EC, allowing me to make real-time adjustments and ensure the perfect environment for nutrient uptake. 📊 Environmental Mastery Thanks to TrolMaster 📊 Speaking of control—let’s talk about the TrolMaster system! Between the DSH-2U Humidity Station and all the other sensors, I’ve created the perfect environment for my plants. Here’s where we’re at this week: • Temperature: 26.2°C • RH: 70.6% • CO2 levels: 775 ppm • VPD: 1.0 kPa • PPFD: 423 Thanks to TrolMaster, I can monitor and adjust these metrics in real time, and the best part? I can do it all through the TM+ Pro app, even while I’m lounging in my green papaya leaf hat! 😆 Whether I’m checking the CO2 levels, adjusting the lights, or fine-tuning the humidity, it’s all in my hands with just a tap of my phone. Talk about convenience! 🌱 P.S. – Inline Sensors: Heavy-Duty Precision 🌱 Now, let’s talk about the heavy-duty players in this game—the (PCT-2) Heavy Duty Inline EC/Temp Sensor and the (PPH-2) Heavy Duty Inline pH Sensor. These bad boys are connected directly to the AMP-3 Precision Meter, and they’ve been absolutely crucial in giving me the most accurate readings on my water and nutrient solution. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. Together, these inline sensors allow me to run a super-tight ship—every drop of water and nutrient is dialed in to perfection, keeping the plants happy and healthy! Shout Outs! De eerste 3 plantjen wie ik gezaaid heb van het jaar. Ik heb 2 soorten plantjes, skittles, en OG kush. Ze.krijgen nu 70% luchtvochtigheid, mede dankzij mijn humifider, en het is 24 graden. Mijn plan is om deze drie voor te laten groeien, en als ze groot genoeg zijn naar een andere nog betere tent. De lampen staan op 20% en staan 24 uur aan, het zijn autoflowers deze kunnen het wel verdragen.

Green House Feeded one is enjoying life and keeps stretching. Advanced Nutrients one moved to left top corner and she seems to be doing better than last week. Light intensisty is at 90% in 50 cm distance.

Day 36 -here is a picture of the 4 plants bought garden netting to start budding at the end of the week! Day 39 -I need to start budding these plants now! -plants are tied down and under the new netting

3/18/25 Start of another week. Plants just finished 2nd week of flowering so these most recent pictures are day 14 since the flip to 12/12 Some plants are only 28-30 inches and others are stretched up to 36-40 inches 3/22/25 R3 looks like shes going to produce the most mass. everything looks really happy. Everything looks happy and healthy

Decided ima leave her in vegataive stage till she recovers some more from the lst/hst been using cannacure to help with the mystery pests and deformed leaves have been seeing her start to regenerate and new growth is visible thinking week 7 or 8 till I switch her to 12/12 light schedule to flower bit streaching side branches and smaller side branches off the side branches are forming

So we're in week 3 veg , they've mostly outgrown their mutated leaves now and looking strong.

I did some trimming this week. The plant grows well and healthy. I didn‘t use any nutrients because of the slight burn last week. Next week I am going to transplant the plants in their final pot and prepare them for flower at week 6. 🌴🍪

Day 59, 1st of October 2020: She quiclky reactod to the Topping.... i topped her 14x 14 branches and already growing out rapidly. She is bushy and looking good time to start flowering. I will leave her in 36 hours of darkness before the 9th week ends so on Saturday (todY is thursday) till monday morning. Let's make her flower :) Day 60, 2nd of October 2020: Alright so time has come; she needs to start flowering. Look at her the last 5 pictures (Day 60)📷 before I place her for 54 hours darkness I mean 17:00 o'clock on (today) Friday to 23:00 o'clock on Sunday. Can I count well? so ... 17:00 o'clock to 23:00 o'clock is 6 hours (23:00 o'clock lamp switches on) and next Saturday 23:00 o'clock is 24 hours and one more 24 hours is Sunday 23:00 o'clock 🤪 so 24+24+6 = 54!!!!! Yes!🤪🤪🤪 I have never been good at mathematics 🙃 Okay so I gave her a lot of water and also sprinkled the soil with bat guano before i put her in darkness. I added more nitrogen because she seems to be very hungry for that again and put her to 💤 😴 🛏️. So let's start flowering say goodbye and see you soon 😊 Day 62, 4th of October 2020: Here we go I took her out after 48 hours just to take pictures 📷 Flowering has started so from now the lamp switches on 23:00 o'clock and it works till 11:00 o ⏰ . Let's see how she streches and go crazy :) Photos are uploaded. The nice neon-green tops are appeard like always after leaving them in darkness :)

Day 15 since seed touched soil. All is going amazing. Yesterday topped them up a bit. Stems looks lanky, would expect stronger by now, but generally girls fly ! Off course i watered them straight after goodies were rubbed into top soil. Great White - 4 g sprinkled around for each plant BioSys same amount. Ecothrive Bio Blend - 200 grams added to each pot. Devil biggest, nicest and is happy camper at the moment. Lights are still on 40%, Mars as always has great products for growers. Think this week i will start some training. Day 19. Yesterday girl got 800 ml of 6.3 ph water. She is flying 4sure, thinking to train her tomorrow. Day 20. First LST. Watering straight after, plus Biobizz Leaf Coat shower. Approx 2.5 liters went in, first big saturation. Happy Growing !!!

DAY 2: Watering with 2.5L. Nutrients as in description. I have noticed small symptoms of underwatering and also little stress of heat. Therefore I just reduces light intensity from 100% to about 85% and moved the lamp a about 5cm higher. DAY 4: Recovered fully from heat stress and underwatering. Already noticed some small hairs so flowering just began! DAY 5: Watering with 2.5L of water. The pot was already bit light. After flip to 12/12 I have instantly noticed she needs watering 1 day faster then before. I also removed some yellowed leaves and hidden small branches which would not see the light either.

Very fast seedling process, seeds stayed soaking for 24h and in the water they were already showing the first white root hair, another 48h in the paper towel and the day I potted them up they showed cotyledons. They took around 11 days to reach third node and complete germination but honestly I belive it could be faster if in better enviroment, mainly the humidity which was low and I transplanted them a day late. From day 5 I started feeding them exact same nutrients and ratio from the first vegetative week but starting at 0.4EC and increasing by 0.1EC/day until 1.1EC

This week I became fed up of the plants being so cramped in. 10 big bushy plants in a d)0.5m x w)1.1m x h)2m. So I created a second cabinet grow area to place my three smallest ones which has now allowed enough space to spread them out and get some air moving easily throughout the canopy. We are finally at the stage that these little ladies will concentrate on building weight and sticky icky buds... Day 54. Added video. The bud sites are starting to pick up weight and the smell is increasing. Surprisingly my RuntZ is gaining serious weight and has a beautiful pinky bud colour. The new cabinet works well but the 600w light isn't as powerful as my other one but itll hopefully manage the 2 I've got under it. SMELL IS PICKING UP LIKE CRAZY. i don't notice so much through out he day due to nose blindness from being around them, but when i sleep and wake up. it smell so strong that i burn incense to try and cover it, in case other people can smell it that powerfully too. the way that the ones i thought were slacking last week have caught up beautifully, even overtaking one or two. just goes to show you cant guess what kind of process the plant is working from. it seems as if i have three phenotypes, and only one plant is a small amount lime green. approximately 30% hasnt yet darkened up like the rest of the m have but my hope is by the end of the week, we should have no more underfed (due to nutrient lockout from ph) issues plaguing a few of my girls. the rapid and vigorous growth increase has shown that my nutrients are bang on and now that the ph is too, we have them pumping out rich terpenes 24-7... i love it.
