🇺🇸Grow Journal🇺🇸– Week 5 – Mother Gorilla (Royal Queen Seeds) Week 5 Summary This week didn’t go as planned. I switched nutrients, and the plant didn’t respond well, possibly due to overfeeding. I probably should have transitioned more gradually to avoid stressing it. Nutrient Issue • Previously used: Formulex • New nutrient: Ionic Hydro Grow • Possible cause: Ionic Hydro Grow has a higher concentration of nutrients than Formulex. The sudden increase may have stressed the plant. • Symptoms: The new leaves are showing signs of damage, which could indicate nutrient burn. Typically, deficiencies affect older leaves first, so it seems more like an excess—but I can’t say for sure. Corrective Actions • Diluted the nutrient solution to lower the EC. • Initial EC: 2.6+ (but my tap water already has a high EC, so the actual nutrient EC is hard to determine). • New EC: Below 2, but again, since my starting EC is high (around 0.8-0.9), it’s difficult to get an exact reading of the nutrient contribution. • pH adjusted to 5.9-6.0. Current Conditions • Light schedule: 18 hours • Humidity: 70% • pH: 5.9-6.0 • EC: Below 2 (but actual nutrient EC remains uncertain). Next Steps • Observe the plant and see if it recovers. • Adjust the next nutrient mix carefully to avoid overfeeding. • Continue light training (LST), but growth has slowed due to stress. Hopefully, the plant will bounce back. Harvest day 66 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚 Very nice phenotype with an extremely good smell. Growth was normal after the initiation of flowering. Looks beautiful with its jagged leaves 😃. As always, the Green House fertilizer did a very good job and I can only recommend everyone to try it out🚀 Have fun and stay healthy 💚🙏🏻

As always it's just a pleasure to grow this sativa dominant strain which definitely reminds me of a great indica with her extremely fruity and tropical sweet terpenes, very happy to have her in my garden and to be able to smoke such a high quality strain once again, hope you guys have enjoyed as much as me!

Another good week in the books down in the tent. Carl 1 and UKBS 1 are both developing some nice buds, Carl 1 with the bigger buds of the two. Carl 1 had to have a few more buds tied up today, as they overweighted what the stems could handle and started sagging like crazy, creating a lot of empty space in the canopy. Timelapse for the week is out, of course. Updates as they come; per usual. 6/11/2021 - Got a video of how the stem's degenerated, it's mainly on that one side. Somehow an entire branch snapped off of UKBS 2, upon further inspection I noticed it was barely attached to the stem at all and did not attempt to re-attach it. Additionally, some of the clones are doing alright and others are shriveling and dying. Not sure what the inconsistency is caused by. It may be the medium; being soil, stays wet for too long. I can't really think of any other reason. I'm misting them, the humidity stays high now that I have a dome for them, they've been dipped in stim-root and supplied mycorrhizae. Will be submitting a grow question as I'm completely new to the whole cloning concept. Also today: more bud shots using the fancy EOS T5 Rebel. Stay tuned! [Out now] 6/11/2021 - The branch drop seems to not have affected UKBS 2 much at all, something which continues to confuse the hell out of me. I may have to get a PVC greenhouse or something to flower the outdoor plants in, as they're giant and I don't know how they'll stand up to the high winds in the area.

So...eine von den 2 Pflanzen ist ins große Zelt (150×150cm) gewandert. Da wird sie von 7 l Topf in 10 Gallonen Stofftopf mit living soil (dieses mal Rezept #1 "coots mix" von Jeremy) umgetopft. Living soil "kocht" gerade. Nicht dass ich living soil Fan wäre (geringerer Ertrag) aber wenn ich wieder zwei Wochen weg bin, kann ich einfach nur Wasser tropfen lassen und die Pflanze bleibt gesund. Ah ja...Terpene sind evtl. auch besser...das konntd ich bisher aber nicht unter Beweis stellen. Die zweite Pflanze die anfangs auch auf dem Balkon war, ist immer noch im Freien unbemerkt...mache da demnächst Bilder P.S. hab jetzt Video und Bilder gemacht. Wächst nicht so schnell...aber die Farbe und der Glanz sind phenomenal

Week 14 from Seed – Week 3 of Flower – Full Bloom Ahead The garden is shifting, and so are the vibes — we’re now stepping into the serious stages of the Eternity Grow Cup. Week 3 of flower, and what a beautiful time it is. The girls are officially locked into bloom mode and starting to show their power, stretching with grace and stacking flowers that promise magic. They’ve filled up the SCROG like it was meant for them — one look, and you can feel the energy radiating off the canopy. We started this week a little on the chilly side, with temps dropping down to 16°C, but we found the rhythm. By the end of the week, we had it all dialed in: 24°C with 60% humidity, giving us a clean and steady VPD of 1.22 kPa. CO₂ is rolling at 1107 ppm, and let me tell you, the girls are loving every part of it. They’re responding like pros — strong, healthy, compact, with early signs of dense flower sites setting in all over the canopy. The ICL 300s are fully in play now, and they’re doing a spectacular job. Light penetration is even, and the plants are soaking it up. We’re still holding off on UV, just letting the full spectrum and reds do their thing for now. We’ve updated our feeding too — we’re now into Week 4 of the Aptus Holland Clean Program, and we are about to introduce Plagron Green Sensation into the mix. A little booster to spice up the bloom and get those flower stacks rising to the challenge. The water temps were a struggle — stuck at 14°C — so we dropped in a classic aquarium water heater, and now we’re sitting at a comfy 20°C. Small changes, big impacts. You can see it in the leaves, in the way they pray up toward the light. This week’s visuals? Shot with both the Nikon and Sony setups, featuring different lenses and filters to capture the layers of depth, light, and mood in the garden. The difference between them is clear — two different worlds coming together to tell one story. You’ll feel the vibe through the lens, I promise. Also, it’s veggie season outside — and in the middle of the flower hustle, I’ve been grounding myself with the babies in the outdoor garden. Fed nutes at 6.3 pH. Runoff was close to 7 pH. Other than that they look like they're doing well. Very sticky and very fragrant. The leaves of the CBD Blue Shark are a nice dark shiny green. The Wedding Cake is lighter. The profiles of both are starting to come out in the flowers. The CBD Blue Shark has these long, dramatic white pistils. The Wedding Cake is starting to show its creamy colouration with red hairs mixing in with the white and looking very delicious. The smell is incredible in there now. Fruity and creamy and delicious.
